This glass reair kiosk is right outside the front door of the Canadian Tire. It is not directly associated with Canadian Tire, but a separate small business. 2. The gentleman who runs the kiosk kindly explained the two types of chips I had and repaired them both in about 20-25 minutes. 3. I left my car with them for 11 hours while I was at work and they drove it around and burned up all the gas and put a lot of extra kilometres on it. When I washed it, water ran down the inside of the windshield in three different places. I called them and they asked me to bring it back. I did. They took the glass back out and reinstalled it, using a thinner gasket/trim so the windshield sat more flush and wasn't sticking out at the top. It was an extra 45 minutes in the car and 90 minutes waiting. Now I have a whistling sound when I'm driving. I reached out in frustration and received the following curt response. I will not recommend this service centre to anyone who needs a windshield replacement. They do shoddy work and do not stand behind it either. The third picture clearly shows the windshield is not sitting flush at the top. It protrudes by several millimetres which allows rain and wind in. Save your money, save your time, this was a $325 waste of money, and will result me me having to spend my money in another shop where this should have been done right the first time. I got an appointment the next day (I called yesterday). When I arrived, they inspected it and said it was the original chip that they repaired. With Sun and cold, the filling could fall out with windshield wipers. Yes I used the wipers 3 days prior! They said they will take 20 mins to refill it free of charge! They will cancel my insurance claim! This is great service! I bought the best wipers from them 5 months ago. A month ago they started making noise as the wipers moved upward. They said they would investigate it for me. It turns out the person who installed it removed a thin adapter so the wipers were loose. They put in an adapter and it is now quiet. No charge. They also have a coffee/tea/hit chocolate machine you can use while waiting.

On the day of my appointment, I was worried because by 9:30 no one had called or arrived. I called the phone number from the previous day and left a message... thought I was being scammed and wasting my time, but the guy (Jack?) got back to me within 5 minutes and told me that the installer was picking up my windshield and should be at my place within 30 minutes. He told me that the appointment was at 10, not 9, a small communication error. Again, great customer service. The installer arrived shortly after 10, asked me to roll down the windows in the car and then told me that he'd be done in about 30 minutes. He also told me that he might need to install a new moulding at the top of my windshield (I assumed that this meant it was an extra charge), but he'd try to use the old one.. 40 minutes later, the installer called me to tell me that the car was ready. He had to install a new moulding ($46) but the windshield was done... Total bill, tax, windshield, moulding... under $500.... Anyone can and use these guys. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs a new windshield.
