Had my windshield replaced by A1 on January 27, 2026. It cracked by May 1 and need replacement. My vehicle sustained significant scratches during installation and the moulding was not seated correctly. Have not been able to reach anyone to request a refund. read more

Worst place to deal with ever if giving 0 stars were an option i would. Got my Windshield repaired within a day of it occurring and still managed to crack now will need a windshield. On top of it all it only lasted 2 days after the repair the second it rained it turned from a penny into a crack. Very displeased as now a new windshield will be over 1k and just wasted 130 on some bs repair. Will not go with them for a windshield repair. The repair guy don't really remember his name did not value my car at all placed his bag on-top of my hood which left grease that i had to wipe off. Worst of all no money back. THANKS GUYS read more

if you have any inclination of having your windshield cracks or chips repaired by this company, DON'T DO IT! What started as a dime sized chip on my windshield has now turned into a spiderweb the size of a palm, after calling twice about a second chip that was created by them, I was made to feel stupid being told it needs time to cure! Well the cure turned into a full blown CRACK! I was told to text a picture and got told we will call you tomorrow and totally ghosted me if this service you guys are it. Not worth the money, just created a bigger price! I definitely want a refund at the very least! DONT USE THIS COMPANY! UPDATE: manager said he would return my money, was vetoed by the owner Peter. The crack has now grown and we were told by them they could only discount us for a full replacement. DO NOT use this business. My girlfriend got her windshield replaced by this company on march 25th 2020 their response was quick and installed it within a day, even tipped them $93.28!! Immediately she noticed the windshield was wavy and hurt her eyes as she drove, clearly a defect and was lied about it being OEM. The vehicle was unfit to drive. We contacted L&D and peter kept giving us the run around for weeks. Finally he asked for a vin number so he can look up the correct windshield. This number was provided on may 14th 2020 weeks after the initial call. They didn't respond ever again.(text message below to prove it) We decided to call again on June 24th 2020 and peter acted like he never got the vin and didn't even remember us. We then asked him for a replacement windshield and if could drive to us like they did when they initially installed it (because vehicle was unsafe to drive) he got very aggressive, started yelling said he wont replace anything and hung up the phone. At this point we decided the best action was to file a consumer complaint notice with the ministry of ontario instead of getting into an altercation with this irrational and unprofessional man. I went in today to drop off a consumer complaint notice because they wouldn't replace a faulty non OEM windshield that they installed on my girlfriends car 2 months ago. I requested a full refund as i had lost all faith in their professionalism and the amount of time they were taking to fix the problem. He then said he had messaged my girlfriend multiple times and she never responded, i asked him to show me proof because i had proof that he didn't respond. Immediately after that "peter" and his friend, because i caught them in a lie, started physically attacking me and attempted to stab me with shears. During this altercation i also suffered a cuts and bruises, all over a windshield! York Region Police were called to the scene, peter and his friend are currently being criminally investigated for assault and bodily harm. There is also an open ministry case against them. It was such a convenient coincidence that their "security system" doesn't record it only shows live video! I have video evidence and pictures to prove it which has all been sent to the criminal investigation unit. We live in Canada nobody should fear for their safety when dealing with a business or people in general. Save yourself the headache and use any other auto glass repair shop. read more

Driving on the highway, something flew off like a garbage truck-like truck and cracked my windshield. This was right between Xmas and New Years of last year, when it was really cold out. Browsing around, we found this place, which we found as L & D and decided to give it a try. Was suppose to be there same day, but they got too busy and with the traffic it would have been too late. No problem, rescheduled the next day, and windshield was fixed. Couple places we called, they would still have to order and wait. Not only did it get fix asap, it was a bonus that they are able to travel to you and fix it there. Will absolutely call them again for any windshield repairs. read more

NO WARRANTY timely repair of a broken windshield and even came to my work for the repair the next day. However, the heads up display was blurry and tilted. The company would not honour the work and said the fault was the cars heads up display. I even drove up the store and they looked at it and said it is not their windshield which is the issue. I had two windshields replaced on both cars the installer Caul did not want me around when he was installing because he did not want me to see is workmanship. He chipped both cars paint and installed one windshield wrong leaving a space for water to collect. I called the owner Peter and he was very unprofessional and refuse to warranty the job done and accused me of trying to take advantage of him. I had to go to another installer to correct the issue. Peter and Caul are crooks. You guys should be ashamed of yourself, you are an embarrassment to the industry. Do not offer life time warranty if you can not back it up. read more

Two weeks before the lease on my car was due, the windshield cracked... crap! My mechanic told me that it would be at least $600 to have his "guy" do the work. I did a google search on windshield repair and this company called me back within about 15 minutes of my completion of the online form... great customer service. We scheduled an appointment at my house the next available morning between 9 and 10. Total cost: $400 plus tax. I was going to call a couple of other places, but why bother, they were coming to me for less than what my mechanic told me was his "cost". On the day of my appointment, I was worried because by 9:30 no one had called or arrived. I called the phone number from the previous day and left a message... thought I was being scammed and wasting my time, but the guy (Jack?) got back to me within 5 minutes and told me that the installer was picking up my windshield and should be at my place within 30 minutes. He told me that the appointment was at 10, not 9, a small communication error. Again, great customer service. The installer arrived shortly after 10, asked me to roll down the windows in the car and then told me that he'd be done in about 30 minutes. He also told me that he might need to install a new moulding at the top of my windshield (I assumed that this meant it was an extra charge), but he'd try to use the old one.. 40 minutes later, the installer called me to tell me that the car was ready. He had to install a new moulding ($46) but the windshield was done... Total bill, tax, windshield, moulding... under $500.... Anyone can and use these guys. I'd recommend them to anyone who needs a new windshield. read more

I hired this company to replace my windshield on a 2017 BMW X3. They did not install a BMW certified windshield and failed to tell me. Their claim was my insurance company told them to do it but I was never notified. They just installed a different windshield and walked away. I now have to replace the windshield to a BMW certified product. The customer service is non-existent. If you deal with this company make sure you know what they are doing beforehand. read more

My daughter had a windshield installed by these folks last Wed., they did it mobile in our driveway in Oshawa, car sat all that day and the next, my daughter took the car out Friday, two days after the windshield was done, the windshield was cracked in the lower left corner and the trim on the right side was sticking up. We contacted L & D, they originally told us we had to bring the car to their shop in Concord, we said no way, that's why we used their mobile service in the first place to avoid making that trip, it's about 1.25 hrs each way from our house, so we sent pictures, they said they'd review it and get back to us Monday. They never did call us so I called them, they said they will not give us warranty, they said something hit it, but there's no impact marks, as far as I'm concerned it's shoddy business and I wouldn't let them EVER touch one of my cars again, I've been in the auto/truck repair industry for 50 years now and I've never seen anything like this before. Had a chip on my windshield, L&D sent their mobile unit to fix it. The chip was cleaned up only and still visible. Cost me over $200. Two months later, the chip has created a full crack in my windshield which now needs to be replaced. Terrible repair service. read more

Really impressed by these folks. I sent a message through yelp and had a call with a quote within 10 minutes.I was told that if the tech needed to "replace the seal" it would be an extra $50. I thought I should get a few quotes before commiting. There price was competitive and they offered to do the windshield replacement at either my home or office, with a warranty through insurance if I had glass coverage. At lunch I called back to get an appointment. By 4 pm my windshield was replaced, for the quoted price. Done and so easy. read more

Everything was great at first. They came quickly and replaced everything in minutes. It was great! However, once I noticed the glass was wending and the wipers were hitting the glass once it was raining, that was the end of my great experience. Called them to fix it. Promised me to come between the hours of 10am to 2pm. Noone showed up! So I went on with my day. They called me at 2.20pm asking me to come back because they arrived to mid-town Toronto all the way from Newmarket. I have asked them to reschedule the appointment since I am no longer available. They agreed to come the next day. Same situation happens the next day, but this time I give them a call after 2pm. To which, I got blamed for the day before and apparently there was noone available to take care of this issue until the next week. Now, who is to say they wont do this to me the next time around. After, this awful customer service I would rather go fix my glass anywhere else than to take a chance at good/bad work and immature behavior. read more

Great company! Smashed my rear window in the parking lot..Dodge Grand Caravan. I called them, they were at my house within the hour. They cleaned the inside of the car to remove any glass that was left! They replaced the window within 1 hour....from the time it was smashed to fixing it..about two hours..Amazing service! Will not go anywhere else if I ever need them again..but let's hope not! Highly recommended! Also, price quoted was exactly what was charged..to me the convenience of them coming to my house was VERY important. read more

Hustlers! Women beware! Peter talks so quickly. It is his style in bullying the customer. He quickly assures the customer that they can do the job, and they will be there to do it promptly. It is his style of grabbing the job. They came on time to fix a glass on my car, but the service-man broke the strip on my car. He glued it back with a black glue that spread all over. It loosed out, and when I contacted them, the man bent the strip and shoved it in. He knew that it was broken but tried to convince me that it was fixed. It kept coming out. In trying to speak to the man, he screamed at me. He then told me that there is no warrantee. He was not doing anything. He said that I should sue him if I wanted anything different. Very abusive man. A horrible experience. Why is their billing information so vague? What is the proper name of this person/business? The office is in a warehouse that is always closed.
