There are two pools (one lap pool and one family pool), one hot tub and tennis courts. There is a workout room as well, if you are looking to get a workout in while on vacation. The rental property is managed by Vacasa and they were extremely easy to work with. Just a few negatives, the room wasn't fully stocked with items. Only one packet of dishwasher detergent, only 2 rolls of toilet paper, one roll of paper towels, and no extra blankets. There were extra pillows and one extra set of sheets for the pull out couch, but no blanket. There were plenty of bath towels for both bathrooms. We had a great family vacation and can't wait to go back again in the near future.

The handle on the large skillet is falling off. 4. The walk-in shower was old and dated - a large person would not fit and there was mold in places around the bottom. The jetted tub was so outdated I would not even get in it. 6. Not that we used it but the fan in the master closet was also coated in dust. 5. The $50.00 fee per parking pass was exorbitant, especially for 4 days and off season. Was not expecting an additional $100 expense.

Nothing was done when we reported this to you 1 Feb 2026. There was not even a suggestion to place curtains as a temporary 2. arrangement. 3. The seat coverings are ripped and cut into bare legs. 4. The patio door does not close or lock. 5. The screen on the patio door is ripped and is not pretty to look at. 6. The patio furniture is not good. One chair has no arm and should be tossed in the trash. The table is unusable. 7. Other of the furniture are unusable. 8. Two of the units of the four-slice toaster do not work. 9. There should be covers on the kitchen chairs as they screech when moved over the floor. 10. The laundry toilet leaks. 11. At least one electrical outlet did not work---there may have been more. 12. There were rips and tears in the wallpaper which looked awful. I would have expected that the place is looked at by some knowledgeable person in between bookings to make sure it is in good shape. Obviously, it is not. In summation, it appears this unit requires extensive renovation in order to meet expectations of its guests. Maintenance should be regular, consistent and attended to on a schedule. This unit has been very remiss in maintaining its property. It is obvious the owner is averse to spending money on this unit. Because this owner has no interest in maintenance nor the interests of the people /guests whom they expect to pay for their lack of consideration, it is my recommendation this unit be taken off available condo offerings until it is properly maintained and upgraded so that guests may experience good times while using it. This was our first trip to Perdido Key, and our family is sold. The water is prettier, less crowded, less expensive, and only 15 minutes away from the upscale, expensive dining options of Orange Beach. The local restaurants in PK are not pretentious and expensive. Our family agreed, this was like to going to 30-A 30 years ago, before it got too trendy and too crowded. if you are not familiar with Perdido Key and Beach Colony, check em out. we are glad we did.
