This has been a nightmare for us and we have not received much support from Vacasa. Let me enumerate our complaints about this condo: 1. The blinds do not work. They neither open or close. Nothing was done when we reported this to you 1 Feb 2026. There was not even a suggestion to place curtains as a temporary 2. arrangement. 3. The seat coverings are ripped and cut into bare legs. 4. The patio door does not close or lock. 5. The screen on the patio door is ripped and is not pretty to look at. 6. The patio furniture is not good. One chair has no arm and should be tossed in the trash. The table is unusable. 7. Other of the furniture are unusable. 8. Two of the units of the four-slice toaster do not work. 9. There should be covers on the kitchen chairs as they screech when moved over the floor. 10. The laundry toilet leaks. 11. At least one electrical outlet did not work---there may have been more. 12. There were rips and tears in the wallpaper which looked awful. I would have expected that the place is looked at by some knowledgeable person in between bookings to make sure it is in good shape. Obviously, it is not. In summation, it appears this unit requires extensive renovation in order to meet expectations of its guests. Maintenance should be regular, consistent and attended to on a schedule. This unit has been very remiss in maintaining its property. It is obvious the owner is averse to spending money on this unit. Because this owner has no interest in maintenance nor the interests of the people /guests whom they expect to pay for their lack of consideration, it is my recommendation this unit be taken off available condo offerings until it is properly maintained and upgraded so that guests may experience good times while using it. It is actually Phoenix west and not Phoenix west II. Beautiful location, units are huge and the staff here are second to none. I am here in a project and have been since September. I even stayed in a unit for several weeks and never wanted to leave. Parking is good and close to all the amenities and being the tallest building on the island boast amazing sunrise and sunset views. read more

This trip has been amazing. Although they are remodeling the Sauna and hot tubs on the 14th floor this trip has been nothing but spectacular. The Oasis bar/cafe has had great food and drinks. Would definitely recommend as a family trip. read more

My family recently stayed at The Oasis which was formerly know as Phoenix West II in room 1010 and we had some of the best views from our balcony. Room 1010 sleeps up to 12 with 3 bedrooms and for full baths along with a full sized washer &dryer. The owners suite has a king size bed and the other 2 rooms have 2 queen size beds in each. The couch has a pullout queen sofa bed. The decor was tastefully done and the seating was perfect with the biggest wall mounted TV I had seen to date with everything from Disney to ESPN. Each bedroom had its own TV as well. The showstopper was the view from the balcony. There is an onsite restaurant and bar with an indoor pool, outdoor pool, kids water play area, a lazy river, and an adults only pool. Along with hot tubs in 2 different areas; several on the 1st floor and 2 on the 14 floor along with his & hers dry saunas and on the 15th floor a cardio & weight room. This made our 10th stay at room 1010 at the Oasis and it won't be our last. read more

The exterior is just ok. It's exciting on the website but the reality is there are not enough tubes and security is doing the best they can to deal with the behavior of people and their kids. The room was clean and beds super comfortable. Be prepared to pay out the nose for parking. Even if your condo sleeps 12, you'll only be allowed to have two cars on site. Meaning the rest of your crew will have to schlep from a location up to 5 miles away. We've been coming beee for years and parking is always a mess. But this year they outright lied on the website. Saying two passes were included with the stay. When we arrived of course we had to pay for those two. So $75 for each vehicle on site and $125 off site for each vehicle. We also had some stuff stolen, but that's not really the facilities fault. Overall I'm not sure I'd come here again with how out of control it was this year. Way too crowded to enjoy. Be prepared to wait over 30 minutes to an elevator even when there are 6 of them. This place has no governance when it comes to the number of people and it's frightening. People packed in like sardines. And the only friendly people I encountered were the security guards. read more

If there's anything I learned from HGTV, properties are all about LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. PWII is right by the water overseeing wide, breathtaking views of the coastline. The amenities were spectacular as well, fitting our pretty large family with ease, all without feeling like anyone was on top of one another. For timeshares and rentals like these, a deciding factor for me is the kitchen. Perfectly located within the space with enough room for family cooks of all generations :) read more

Nice facility however the staff is very unfriendly and not helpful. I had two encounters in one day. The first one I wanted to dismiss. Maybe a bad day but....I'm the guest and treated me like I was bothering her when I was to told check in at the front desk. She assumed I was at the wrong place. I was not. The second time was this evening trying to find out where the pizza delivery would be delivered. The man at the front desk wouldn't even stand up and speak to me. He was behind a very tall desk and I couldn't even see him. Then proceeded to scold me about where the pizzas are delivered. Disappointing how I was treated. I will never stay here again. read more

Reading reviews from over 6 YEARS ago....the EXACT same problems exists. The reviews are clearly not considered with the management company or 1 of any of the continuous complaints, you would think, would have been addressed The wait time is no longer 20 minutes for the elevator...it's 45 during the 4-6:00 hours. You may ride it for 20 minutes just to get to the 31st floor. The lazy river, yes there are only a hand full of floats for the triple amount of people in the lazy river. It's not the relaxing style river more less the stressful river as the kiddie slide dumps off in it and kids swim through your legs and under your float like it's a swimming pool. The beach is covered by rented chairs. $1200 a night and I was 4 rows back and could not tell you what the waves looked like coming in. However, I did have the option to wake up at 6:30 in the morning to go put out bought umbrellas and chairs while it's suppose to be a relaxing vacation and not a battle of beach space. Oh that's after I paid $190 for 4 days (4chairs) to sit at the back of the beach. The unit inside was beautiful but could never make up for the properties short comings. It's true that you have ZERO privacy on the balcony. The design of the building puts about 5-6 other units level with no spacers so you feel like your on a community baloney. Lastly, it speaks volumes when the only comments from "Brett/Robinson" property management responds to the 5 star reviews. This review is for the families anyway and not looking for an auto response "We will look into this matter". Clearly 6 year old reviews saying the same thing you haven't. read more

The hotel was beautiful. We had 3 bedrooms. 1. Master bedroom with it's own bath and shower, walk in closet. 2. 2 queen beds with its own bathroom 3. A king bed with its own bathroom. We were on the 20th floor but "upgraded" for $200 to the 2nd floor due to multiple people having injuries/couldn't climb many stairs. We have had NO elevator issues and they were fast but we never caught them during peak hours. The parking is ample. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and the walk to the beach wasn't bad. However be aware of the flags for the ocean and for JELLYFISH!! 3 people in our party got stung. One had a moderate to severe reaction. The living room had ample space and a pull out couch. We had 8 people. The kitchen was big and wonderful to cook but the fridge was a bit small and can't keep heavy things in the shelves or it will break. They only have 4 hot tubs on 1st floor and 2 more on the 14th. The outdoor pool is wonderful and the indoor one is too but a bit cold. The saunas are NOT coed. And the Wifi SUCKS. I wasn't able to make any calls on my iPhone because I had no reception. I would def come back despite the smaller issues! read more

Rented a nice large condo on fifth floor. With all the fees it came to 3000.00 dollars for 4 days. Condo 506. Views are lovely. The Condo it's self was nice but had some work to repair towel bars. The can opener didn't work. The cooking tools and pots and pans are lacking. If you think paying the mandatory parking fee you are secure a parking space you will be very disappointed. Coming in at one in the morning had quite a number of guest parking their cars on the outside of complex. The manager said you won't get your money back. So somebody is padding their pockets. As for the condo 903, was nice and very roomy! Wouldn't hesitate to rent it again. As for the building, the pool, lazy river, walk to the beach, everything was wonderful. Well then here comes the problem! We arrived late our first night and just stayed so the kids could swim and play, so we ordered door dash. Then the second night we all (6 of us) got ready to go eat dinner, and when we arrived to the vehicle security put a boot on the tire. It was 8:30 pm. We went to the desk to be told that beings we parked a little over the line that we would have to pay $150.00 to have it removed, but we couldn't pay now it would have to be after 9:00 am the next morning. You would think they would try to contact the renter, or place something on the door to the condo that you've rented. So when we went to pay, there were several waiting to pay to get a boot removed. PWII is making bank off people who are parking over the line, so beware! read more

It has everything for a great family vacation.The rental units were spacious, stacked with everything we needed and right on the beach.It also has several pools hot tubs rec room. The location was perfect, close to restaurants and shopping. We had a very large unit that slept 10. Had a fantastic balcony overlooking beach pool and water. The condo was large and clean. The bed was broken but the rental company sent somebody to repair once reported. The condo has 6 elevators but 3 were broken. A wait for an elevator was ~ 10 to 15 minutes. The lazy river was fun and the condo had plenty of seating around the pool. With 32 floors, it was expectedly crowded. There is an owner / maintenance elevator if you look around. The owners are nice and will give you the pass code to use their elevator. Once we discovered, that made the elevator situation much easier. read more

I came here for a 10 day vacation. First thing was that a young woman greeted me at the desk with an entire list of rules including Ordinance 54, which she did not have a copy of to let me review, about what we SHOULD NOT AND COULD NOT DO. I am not 25! She never said hello, welcome, or anything! There is large spaces on the floors which makes it seem cavernous and pointless for the space. There are rules where you can set up your own beach chairs and the units are not well Decorated. Just pay the extra dollars and go to Turquoise Place and have a much better experience, atmosphere and furnished unit. read more

UPDATE: The specific management I'm referring to is Liquid Life rentals, NOT Brett Robinson Properties. The management of this facility is crap. Liquid Life Rentals does not care about how inconvenienced we were by a washing machine that broke. Worse still, they lied and said it was fixed. Worse still, when I called to seek some type of renumeration for the inconvenience (we had to go to a laundromat) Lauren at Liquid Life blew that off and said a replacement unit was being installed and too bad, no discount or renumeration. Worse still when I pressed for some consideration the witch (with a B) hung up on me. When I called back no one would answer - cowards. We live but a few hours from there and have rented multiple times and there is ALWAYS a problem at this property. Considering what we spend in Orange Beach annually, we will not be returning to this facility and that witch (with a B) Lauren should be fired immediately. Do NOT waste your precious time and money with such a crappy outfit. Spend a bit more and go to a quality place. read more

This review is overdue. We went to Orange Beach in March. I was so happy with the condo. It was beautiful and the view was spectacular. The owner of our condo, John, is wonderful. He put up with my inability to make decisions in the beginning and then he was so patient when I had about 30 questions about our upcoming trip. He was so helpful. This has always been a family favorite for us. 10 plus years we have enjoyed Phoenix West I and II. This year I was severely disappointed to see the property has allowed the chair rental company to occupy 75% of the beachfront at Phoenix West II. At $40 a day per chair. I understand having the chair rental but to take the vast majority of the beach front away from families and who choose to have their own chairs is ridiculous. read more

We enjoyed direct access to the beach and the pools (yes, lazy river too)! All the employees were courteous and helpful. At night, it was peaceful and easy to rest well. I love this place! read more

This was the dirtiest condo we stayed in . We arrived Friday at 4:30 and checked out Sunday morning, they would not let us stay later then 10 am. We paid $2600.00 for this half weekend. Not worth it. There was no toilet paper in condo and there were barely any pots and pans too cook. Beds had crumbs in them from previous tenants. Ice maker didn't work. And the front desk never answered the phone for help. Tv in rooms didn't work, only living room. When you needed help for anything there was no one around. We will be letting everyone know not to use this place it doesn't even deserve one star. I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

Last year I stayed in a condo at Phoenix West while visiting my mom, the snowbird. This year I stayed in a condo at Phoenix West II while visiting my sister, the snowbird. There are many similarities, with both being among the largest condo buildings on the beach. Floor plans are the same in both buildings with 4 bedroom condos anchoring the ends and 3 bedroom condos in between. Parking is in a huge, connected, multi-story parking deck facing the road. My sister shopped for her rental the year before and chose a well-appointed, very nice unit on the 24th floor. Someone with good taste and a good decorator hit a home run with this unit. The living room furniture was plush, comfortable and definitely a step above the beachy furniture in pastel colored fabrics that you often find at the beach. It was perfect for lounging, reading or watching tv. The tall square high boy dining table easily handled five of us eating together and was perfect for playing board games at night. I've often found kitchens in beach condos to be sparse, but this kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots and pans, utensils and small appliances. Everything, including large appliances, tended to be better quality. I still find it odd that the master suite doesn't open up to a balcony, but has French doors that open to the dining room. Such is the layout at both Phoenix West buildings. The master suite is still impressive though. This is a huge building with close to 250 condos. According to some permanent residents, it gets a little crazy during the summer with lots of kids running around making lots of noise. So, determine what kind of atmosphere you're looking for at the time of year you visit. The large size may or may not be for you. It was perfect in January! After talking to snowbirds staying in a variety of properties, it's still clear that the Phoenix brand pays better attention to their guests and buildings. If you want to pay the price, Phoenix West II may be right up your alley. read more

I met a few boys here by them calling me from their balcony onto mine and had a full blown convo and exchanged phone numbers and everything. so you don't have too much privacy on your balcony so beware if you consider doing the nasty there lol but overall my stay was great. We liked being not so far up, however the empty space on the 8th floor allowed for kids to play and be very loud late at night and with where our unit was, we could hear them. This is an awesome resort and plenty to do. They have multiple pools and hot tubes, and a lazy river. It is close to everything from restaurants, shopping, pier, and fun amusement for the kids. The rooms are very nice and new with lots of rooms and bathrooms. Overall, we are very happy with this place and will be back for sure. read more

Just spent my first weekend at Phoenix West II and it won't be the last. We stayed in unit 2602 and couldn't ask for more pleasant accommodations. The condo was spotless and the layout was great. We enjoyed the balcony for coffee in the morning and to wind down at night. Listening to the water crashing against the shore made the whole experience all the better. The building comes with just about every type of feature you could want. It doesn't matter if you are there with friends, taking a family vacation, or a newly married couple. We met people of all ages and walks of life during our stay. If you have kids, there's the splash pad, an indoor pool, and an outdoor pool next to the Lazy River. I thought the river was for kids only but you should've seen the adults enjoying it too! There's a fitness room if you want to work out. Saunas are nearby as well as a couple of hot tubs. The building has space for conventions, trade shows, or room to hold a wedding ceremony and reception. That doesn't even begin to address the beautiful beach and the space set aside for guests who want to grill out. A property manager can help you reserve 2602 or you can communicate with the condo owner through a FB page for Phoenix West II Unit 2602. This place advertised WiFi in every room but that was not true! I actually went over my data plan the week I stayed because there was absolutely no WiFi in our room that we could pick up. They need way more than two elevators here because with all the people sometimes it would take 5-7 min just to get on the elevator. When you get here you will be impressed by the grandeur of the place it is massive and the condo we has way large and nicely furnished. But that's where it ends You are forced to where a plastic armband the whole week. Like you can never take it off even if you leave the property as taking it off would destroy it. The elevators are so slow and busy and one was broken while we are here that it can take you any from 15 to 30 minutes depending on the tine of day to get down or back up to your condo.there are nowhere near enough hot tubs or other facilities so you can never get into one which always seem to be filled with elementary aged kids screaming and splashing. Nice place horrible experience I would not recommended it and won't be back read more

NEW! But POORLY designed. When you first walk in to the check-in desk there's an odd vibe you get from the undecorated massive lobby, it reminds me of a 1950's era communist housing block. This style is followed throughout the building with massive open undecorated spaces. The condos however are very plush and roomy, but don't anticipate getting to them in a timely fashion. You see there are 6 elevators for 32 floors, so getting to a mid to top floor from the pool area could take 15 to 20 minutes. Oh and the property management staff is terrible, I think they hired them straight from the cable industry. read more

Seemed to be over 1,000 square feet, 3 bedrooms, 4bathrooms, beautiful view & new contemporary furniture with very comfortable beds. The lazy river is right be t to the Phoenix & there's a children's slide that they love. The beach is clean & there was a variety of people staying there. Such well spent money. The Phoenix West II is a beautiful property; however, if you stay here and you're lucky enough to find a parking spot in the garage after paying $25 for a parking pass do not leave bc you may not have a spot later on. We were forced to park our car on the street because the garage was full. In essence we were charged for something that did not exist. I tried calling Brett Robinson ( the on-site manager of the property), my realtor,as well as the Home owners association and everyone passed the buck. I wanted a refund for the nights were inconvenienced or at least an apology. I received "yes, it's always like this in July but we don't give refunds or compensate people for it" so my one star is not for the service onsite as well as being forced to purchase a parking spot that did not exist. read more

I'll start with the positive. The condo space is fantastic we vacationed with our adult children and their partner. There was 10 of us and the size was perfect. We had a 3 bedroom condo. It was nicely decorated and had everything we needed inside (pots, pans, bowls etc.) The view is amazing and the master suite extremely large and nice with a view if you want it. I slept in a room with 2 double beds and the bed I was in was horrible. The mattress was the most uncomfortable thing I'd ever slept on. Every time I turned (which was alot as I couldn't get comfortable) the bed made so much noise. I think it was way past time to change out this mattress. The biggest issue though with the entire building was the elevators we sometimes waited about 30 minutes to get up or down to our room or the beach/pool. They certainly need to reassess the way the elevators run or get more. I'm not sure if they had some broken but it was ridiculous. Everyone there was complaining about them. The other thing with the elevators was there was no air/ventilation on it so they were over crowded and extremely warm. read more

The place is beautiful. The clientele is perfect and on par for such a nice resort. Pools and beach are staffed and well maintained. Rooms are well cared for and the views are excellent. The only downside is that there are only 6 elevators...at times it could take 15-30 min to get to your room, especially the higher floors. Getting down is just as bad.
