The customer service I received was unacceptable. Instead of listening to my concern, the employee immediately insisted on obtaining my home address before accepting my complaint, even though my address was not relevant to the issue I was reporting. When I questioned why it was necessary, the conversation became argumentative and confrontational rather than focused on resolving my concern. After paying HOA dues for more than 20 years, I expect to be treated with professionalism, courtesy, and respect. Homeowners should not have to argue just to report a concern. This experience reflected poor customer service and left me feeling that addressing residents' concerns was less important than creating unnecessary obstacles. Zero stars! read more

The Windingwalk board rehired Robert Kelly to manage our Windingwalk Master Association which is a is questionable decision. Robert now runs his own company, Kelly Management Group with the same assistant which may mean similar issues that are carried over from how they managed under Prescott. Previously, under Prescott, Robert failed to oversee our finances and was not really interested in offering valuable advice since we did not have millions in the reserves like our master, Windingwalk. Solution was always to raise the fees but everything remained the same while reserves and service depleted. Instead, he was more interested in befriending residents who would vote to keep Prescott in the community. He kept recommending them for board positions. We recognized the quid pro quo--you scratch my back, I'll scratch yours. Yes, he and his team were quick to respond but slow to follow up with those who had the authority to drop additional late and interest fees which then led to two sewer bills that kept compounding in fees. There was preferential treatment especially, when making exceptions for parking rules. Certain residents knew to ask when they wanted additional parking passes or get an extension to park for longer periods or simply go around decisions of the board. We all would love to take advantage of these free pass opportunities too, but some of us abide by the rules to ensure fairness. Hence, the reason for parking rules, CCRs, bylaws. I'm hoping that the lessons learned has changed the way he and his team operates. I will support anyone or business who has a realization that mistakes has been made and owns it. read more

Well I've lived near Winding walk for so long and there pools and gym is great. Everyone is kind and friendly until a week ago it was my sisters birthday about 3ft away from the pool so we decided to take her to the pool with her friends. There was a man there "security" he told us the person on the card had to be there at the pool and I get that but we were 3ft away and we weren't just leaving the kids alone our whole family was there. We tried telling him we would be back in a while but he started getting mad and disrespectful like a 15 year old when he asked me for my card he was like "your card?" like he had no manners. We were very disappointed but either way we let the problem go and let my sister have fun with her friends. I recommend but there's not always a security guard there so I recommend to go when there isn't one so he doesn't give you attitude. read more

I've lived in this community for 15 years -- long enough to remember when residents could actually use the amenities we pay for. Today, for the first time ever, I was denied access to the pool. Admittedly, I was using my brother's access card (because I've never needed my own until now), but I even offered to show my ID to prove I live here and contribute to these fees. Instead, my family and I were asked to leave. Now I have to submit a request for my own card, which apparently takes up to 7 days to process. So much for spontaneous summer fun. But hey -- glad to know the HOA is hard at work... at something. Whether it's ruining a perfectly good family pool day or enforcing vague policies with zero flexibility, they're definitely keeping busy. read more

Robert Kelly and the Team took care of an issue in regards to parking on Exploration Falls and Olympic Parkway. Several cars would park next to the curb making it hard to turn on the narrow road. Within a month, the curb was painted red. Couldn't ask for better customer service! read more

I'm very pleased with the new management! I've been a home owner in Windingwalk since 06 and I must say this new management is on top of it and very productive! I appreciate the open communication and also the weekly community email updates. Carolina is very pleasant and helpful. I also had to deal directly with Mr. Kelly on some unresolved personal matters that were not taken care of by prior management. I must say, Mr. Kelly was very prompt on helping me resolve the matter and went the extra mile to see everything through completion. If I could, I would stop paying my monthly dues. Every month I throw away $100 for the HOA fee. The local office staff are rude to home owners, there seems to always be at least 1 machine out of service every month in the gym, people who don't live in the community are constantly using the facility; I can go on and on. But what erks me the most, is no matter how often I try and politely bring up issues, inform board members, office staff, and corporate employees of what I see going on, things change for about a week, then everything goes back to normal. So here are few things that have happened in the past 2.5 years that I have either experienced myself and/or along with my neighbors. 1) Office is closed during working hours and the only staff member that is walking in and out of the office says she is too busy to help anyone because she moving her plants out of the office since it is her last day. Hello! You have a whole 1.5 hours left before the office should be closed, per the sign posted on the door. 2) Gate doors are constantly left open so anyone can literally walk on to the club house grounds, and by the way; ensuring the people using the clubhouse area is NOT the responsibility of the office staff. Go figure, then why even have an office and staff on site? 3) HOA receptionist is rude to Cottagelane Homeowners since the Cottagelane Sub-HOA decided to fire Prescott Management (Windingwalk's HOA company) and go with a different company. So every time Cottagelane residents call Windingwalk, the receptionist immediately tells homeowners to call Cottagelane instead of taking the time to listen to the issue. This is frustrating when the issue is about the clubhouse. 4) Since the office staff only works Monday through Friday, during the weekends and evening when no one is around, people are having sexing the pool, jumping the fence to go to the pool and/or the gym; to include letting all of their buddies come in and use and abuse the facilities. By the way, some moron left a dildo in the pool and a bunch of kids found it and started playing with it. Isn't that great? I can go on and on, but the point is nothing will ever change until everyone who lives in Windingwalk community starts complaining. If you do have an issue and feel the staff is blowing you off, all you have to do is contact Prescott Corporate in writing. While the facilities are nice, the staff is horrible. Tom who runs Windingwalk is right up there with being the biggest bureaucratic joke I've seen since Barack Obama. When I moved in two years ago and requested parking passes I was never told there was a limit on how often you could use them. They were simply mailed to me and I was never presented with any type of parking agreement. About three weeks ago I left my house for work and my vehicle was no where to be found. Turns out it was towed by Western Towing, and the tow was authorized by Reliant Parking Services who is contracted by Windingwalk. And yes, the parking pass was on the dash where it could be seen. After making several calls, it turns out Windingwalk took the initiative to contact Reliant Parking Services (who happens to be owned by Western Towing) without consulting the sub HOA's Agave and Aristata. After trying to reach Windingwalk on several occasions without any luck I finally had to go to the office to get ant kind of help. Tom who hid in his office stuck his head out long enough to tell me there was nothing they could do for me and I'd have to take it up with the sub HOA. Well the folks at the sub HOA sent me an email saying I should attend a board meeting, which I did. During the open discussion portion of the meeting I was initially given a chance to speak, however as soon as I brought up the fact that Windingwalk authorized vehicles to be towed without consulting the sub HOA's my fiance and I were asked to leave. We were thoroughly confused. Prior to speaking Tom told us we had thirty minutes to speak. As soon as I brought up the towing issue my fiance and I were interrupted and repeatedly instructed to step outside and leave the meeting. Needless to say we never got a chance to tell our side of the story. The management here is a joke. It really makes me wonder what kind of agreement the management at Windingwalk has with Reliant Parking Services and Western Towing. When I went to pick up my vehicle the lady even told me "oh yeah, you guys get a special rate." Hmmm wonder if Tom or any of the other Windingwalk management is getting any kind of compensation as well... read more

Facility is beautiful but the people who work at the office are very rude and lack basic etiquette. I asked to see the club house and the girl at the desk rudely said that I would need to go on line to set up an appointment. WTF I was already there. So I jokingly told her that I was going to make an appointment on my iPhone while in the office so she can show me the club house. She rolled her eyes and said that she was busy on a phone call and that we would have to wait. So we waited 5 minutes and it took all of 2 minutes to see inside the club house. So I don't understAnd why we have to make an appointment for something that takes a few minutes. EXTREMELY RUDE OFFICE STAFF!!!!!!!!!!!! But the amenities are great. read more

With two pools it never seems packed even on hot summer days, the jacuzzi is big as well. The pool is heated I think because it neveer seems too cold nor too hot depending on what time of day you go. The gym is fairly decent not many machines but the basic weights and treadmills, they could invest in buying more equipment but its okay for what other gyms have. their patio/party area is very nice and spacious and perfect for a intimate party or ceremony. very beautiful decor and landscape. read more

I attempted to give 0 stars but couldn't, i wish I could give them 5 stars in the negative! I recently replaced my water heater about a month ago and it was brought to my attention by the tech installing the water heater that my neighbor's relief valve is activated so there is a problem that requires immediate attention. When asked what he meant he told me to google "mythbusters water heater" and watch the first video that comes up. I informed my neighbors of the issue and they failed to act. I called the HOA after a couple of weeks of inaction and was told it is a neighbor to neighbor issue. I told him how I tried to talk to them and how I don't want my family and property to remain in danger and all I got from him was excuses and run around. These clowns wanted a raise this year but should've got a pay cut. Worst HOA EVER!!! read more

I'm a resident here in the winding walk community, pay my monthly dues, not sure for what though. The pool area has been neglected more and more, no offense but looks like the slums of Tijuana. This saddens me, as we used to come here quite often. Not sure what's going on here, but it's getting worse and worse by the day. We had poor management assigned by Prescott for the last six years. But last year, our community received a new manager Robert Kelly, and he and te office staff are awesome! There are now too many examples to give of his proactive efforts, efficiency, and quick-responsiveness. The latest one is the day I emailed him about a broken pool grill and poor maintainence and he quickly responded: he scheduled a grill repair/maintenance company to come out and fix the problem. He then informed the community via newsletter about our grill problems/solution and still took the time to email me individually to update me. I was totally impressed! I don't usually have time to spend writing reviews, but I absolutely wanted to go out of my way to give him kudos for a great job so far! read more

Spoke to Carolina about a recent violation I advised her I unfortunately misplaced the letter. She began to tell me theres no way for her to look it up. I then stated ok so you send out letters to home owners but have nothing on file to show what you sent? She then decided to look up my address. After placing me on hold with out telling me, she comes back on the line tells me what it was for and her supervisor would go over it with me. I'm not sure if she even explained why I was calling to begin with? Francisco the supervisor had no clue why I was calling and kept asking me the same questions over and over then all of a sudden claimed he couldn't hear me and disconnected the line. I called back where he still stated he had a hard time hearing me but magically gave me the information I needed and closed the violation since it was resolved. I asked him if I would receive anything confirming its cleared up. He just stated no its just closed in our system. We shall see... read more

I need to get a key card for the pool so i called to figure out how and was told they would send me a form to my email, it didn't come through and i checked all my folders... so i called back, it took me 3 more calls before i actually got someone to actually send the form to me, i'm assuming because they all just sit around doing nothing all day and want to keep doing that... anyways, filled everything out online like they told me too and than i just have to come in with a check. On here it says they close at 11pm and on google it says 5:30, i assumed 11 meant for the whole facility so i went off googles time. So i got off work early to try and get down here, got here at 5:12 and said they were closed cause they actually close at 5 not 5:30. So I ended up working it out again to get off a little early so i could try and get to them before they closed, got here at 4:50... and they were already closed again... this is ridiculous, i work mon-fri 8-5:30 and in downtown... how is the only way to get a keycard by paying by check in person when most people have jobs at the exact same time as your open and your people aren't even staying the full length of time! You can't even drop the check somewhere and have them just send the card to my mailbox which literally wouldn't cost them anything extra! The only other way to get it is to have a someone go in with a copy of your ID and get it but i live alone. Now there's no way i'm getting out early again for a while and so I can't use facilities that i'm suppose to have access too! This place and there employees are a joke! read more

We were in the process closing out an existing issue that took place under the previous management, which then fell into the lap of the new management led by General Manager, Robert Kelly. I reached out to staff member Fernando Anzaldo to confirm a few things on our account as there still appeared to be some discrepancies. Mr. Anzaldo was very quick to respond to every inquiry I had, and when he had exhausted all the resources within his reach, escalated the issue to Mr. Kelly and all was resolved within a few days. It has been such a breath of fresh air having them onboard. They have created such a buzz in Windingwalk as we are not used to having issues attended to right away. There has been so many positive changes in our community within the past few months under their management, than there has been in years with the previous. We finally feel like we're not on an opposing side, but rather unified in having the communities best interest in mind. read more

I moved into this community about a month ago and I have to say that the facilities are wonderful and well kept. I can't wait for the summer so we can start enjoying the pool and BBQ facilities. I've lived in other communities paying much higher HOA fees that offer little to no amenities and/or service. When I moved in my agent advised that one of the first things I should do is stop by the office to get my parking passes and keys to the amenities. When I walked into the office, I was welcomed with a smile and the girl at the front desk (I think her name was Krissy) was very knowledgeable as to what I needed and the information about the community. She said that if I ever needed anything further to give her a call, which I have on several occasions and as always she was very helpful. I did get the chance to meet the Manager in passing when I was headed to the Gym one day and he was also very pleasant. The only complaint or concern, I should say, is the gopher issue we are having. I called into the office with concern and was told that the association is working with a pest service to rid the gophers on a weekly basis. The little critters are such a pain when trying to keep my lawn nice and green, but I hear that this is normal in this area. I have to say I am very happy that I moved to this community. My son is getting married next year and I'm excited to rent out the Clubhouse for this occasion. read more
