Stopped here to bring a plant to a small memorial gathering. Plants were of great quality and well displayed. I even found a solar light to plant in honor of the bright light we lost in our dear friend. Staff was helpful and masked. Markers on the floor at check out.

I always loved Windmill Gardens at their original location. However, part of the land was sold, so they moved most of their plants to this new store. It has vibes of the previous location, with like plants put together. There is an indoor store with gardening tools and decorations (also where the bulbs are located). The plants here are all outdoors - indoor plants are at the original location - but they have a good variety. It's early in the season (April 30th), so they were still putting flowers out and waiting from some orders to arrive. One thing to note: this location will NOT be open all year. The employees said it will be open seasonally, so early spring through part of summer.

What a neat little nursery! They have a great selection of perennials, grasses, ground covers, shrubs, and evergreens. I think their prices are actually comparable to the home improvement stores but this nursery has better quality and bonus: they're local. I also love the little gift shop type area with home decorations and other cute little items. Plus, they have a couple young kitties to help keep shop that was definitely a plus for me! The only drawback was their selection of pots but I know lots of people are buying stuff for their homes right. We will definitely be back!

Stephanie, the lead florist, made sure I had my dream bouquet. She took care of me every step of the way. So grateful!

My experience with the customer care and quality of design for the 90th birthday window box that I custom-ordered was exceptional! Leslie McCoy and her cohorts at this beautiful nursery continue to inspire and deliver for their customers. Thank you SO much!!

    Great place to relax

This is a great nursery but also a beautiful garden in the front. I was really impressed with how beautiful the landscaping is on the grounds. There are a few paths, a waterfall, gazebo and a windmill which add to the beauty. My favorite spot was a stone area to sit on in front of the pond and the waterfall which was a great place to relax and enjoy the great surroundings. The shop itself is nice and has a lot of great stuff if you are into gardening. Take some time and check out all the great plants and supplies. I felt their prices were a bit high but it looked like the quality was pretty good. Another great thing about this place is that there is a restaurant on the property in an old house. There is also a separate shop that sells tea and looks like a cute little cottage. If you are in the area stop by and at least walk the grounds... It's worth it!

A big thumbs up to Kim in the Florist shop. So helpful. She took my ribbon and made a bow for my design. And said Merry Christmas!

Very disappointed!!! Diseased plants that were extremely expensive. I have also eaten at the restaurant and it is mediocre.

When it's time to choose, the owner will make you feel all the care and love that was put into growing them, as well as how you can have that same success with the ones you bring home. However, their prices are way to high and borderline ridiculous. I picked out two decent size maples one I was told was $400 and the other I was told $750. Nothing exotic just standard maples. The same maples I have bought from Home Depot for $130 bucks. Went a mile down the road and got a beautiful Butterfly maple from Todd's Nursery. It was about 8 feet tall and 4 feet wide and only paid $125 bucks for it. So if your looking for an exotic maple and don't mind mortgaging your home to get one this is the place to go. If your not looking for an exotic and want to save a whole bunch of money I'd recommend going somewhere else. Personally I will never return to this place for a maple!

Made a 'call appt' to start the process. And they never called. Must be to busy for my projects…read more Got multiple emails confirming date and time from them. But no call. I know stuff happens. But they could've used their auto email system to cancel. In any event, I never use a contactor (for any project) that doesn't keep their first appt or notifies before just not calling or showing up. That always spells trouble. There are too many landscapers who want business. So I'll never call them or visit their nursery ever again. I believe it was Woody Allen who once said, "Just showing up is 90 percent of life." Todd's fails.

Negative five stars…read more Where to start... My wife and I visited this location back in February/March to purchase spring/summer flowers and get a quote for a large landscaping project, along with some recommendations. We spoke with a staff member about flowers suited for full sunlight. One of the recommended flowers is still thriving in October, but the other didn't survive more than a month despite following the care instructions. for the landscaping quote, that's where the problems began. We were told by the same staff member to speak with someone else, who wrote down an "appointment" on a sticky note and supposedly entered it into the system. The appointment was scheduled for the end of May. My wife and I took the day off work for the quote, but no one showed up--nor did anyone call. A few days later, my wife called to ask what happened. A different staff member said the person responsible would call back that day or the next--but again, zero contact. Fast forward to October, and we've never heard a word from Todd's Nursery. We've since handled our landscaping project ourselves, likely at a lower cost, and honestly, after witnessing their incompetence, we're glad we did. If this is how they handle quotes, we can only imagine how poor the actual service and timing would have been. Bottom line: complete lack of customer service, consideration, and professionalism. Don't waste your time requesting quotes from Todd's Nursery--look elsewhere for companies that value their customers and actually want to do business.
