$350 to wash a handful of windows for a second story, 712 square foot apartment. To be fair, Bryan explained to me that the price reflected the short notice and that my job would require his guys to work overtime (although he quoted me $250 for non-overtime work). And I should add that he was very friendly and accommodating. But for what simply could not have been more than an hour or so's worth of work, $350 seemed very excessive. I can not say enough about the guys at Window Doctor. They did an absolutely fantastic job-- our house was so bright from the sunlight that it looked like a brand new house. The windows were so clear that you couldn't tell there was glass there! I coordinated with Bryan in the office as I was going to be at work that day. I left a key under the mat and a piece of tape on the windows I wanted cleaned, his guys called me to ask instructions on a couple things, and other than that they were in and out without me having to lift a finger. My landlord runs a drycleaning business downstairs and they did not interfere with her business whatsoever-- she said her customers walked in and out without hindrance even though they were washing the windows' exterior directly above her doors. The pricing was very inexpensive and they allowed me to pay afterwards to make sure I was totally satisfied-- believe me, I was. I Googled window washers in sf and the Window Doctor came up. I sent an email and got an almost immediate response inquiring about amount of windows and very little else. I immediately responded and got an appointment and an approximate quote. A great crew of four turned up today, very professional and respectful of our office, extremely mannerly and professional. I had complete faith from the get go because they were flexible in that I could not have the inside of the windows done today as we had clients, not a word of derision , just "whatever you need we are here for you".
