I had to put an old newspaper on my the driver side window to block the sun from burning my poor cheeks. To be honest with you yelpers this Asian man can do work! No gaps, bubbles, and sloppy cuts. Everything he did was flushed and clean. He uses the best brand of tint (should ask about it then do your research) So far I've tinted two cars a black 1999 civic coupe and a 2003 s2000. I don't even know how this guy got 1 or 2 stars from the past reviews here but I'm going to vouch for this guy. Another thing interesting about this guy is that he tells you the brand of the tint which some shops or mobile guys forget to mention and beside from all that he's not a jerk, like most window tint shops. Wally is a great guy and does such incredible work that it makes the "professionals" look bad. I have taken multiple cars to Window Tint Man and every job had been done flawlessly because he has such a high standard for his work and takes pride in every single job that he takes. He will not take a job if he thinks that it will not turn out well and will recommend other options. I took my first car to him in 2011 before he had his shop and I must say his work was flawless back then, but now it is even better. No air bubbles, perfectly cut tint to the very edge of the window, no scratches.. Everything done perfectly for a better price than larger "professional" shops, that dont even do as great of a job as Window Tint Man. Prices: You can expect the prices to be competitive. He has 3 different tint films that all look the same imo, but the highest priced one is ceramic and costs quite a bit more than basic but it blocks out the most heat by far. Make sure you ask Wally for the demonstration with the heat lamp and you will see for yourself how much more heat the ceramic film blocks out. I recommend getting the best film if you can afford it because other shops would charge a lot more. Tip to get $100 off: Remove your own tint, because he will take off $100 if you remove it yourself and it isn't too difficult to do. They let my husband drop off the car earlier than normal hours and had multiple people working on it so he could get the car faster. My husband dropped the car off around 8am and got the car at 11:15am. The owner is very invested in his work and professional. I had my headlights redone due to heavily oxidized lenses that made my vehicle look worn down. I had services done around Oct. 2017 and soon after did my tint. I was extremely happy with their work. The process was fast and smooth since I already had an idea of what I wanted, but Whally still went out of his way to explain to me the different types of tints he had, which I appreciated. I ended up getting the ceramic tint with the 3rd darkest in front and darkest for my rear. My appointment was at 9AM and the car was done in about 3 hours. As someone who pays keen attention to detail when getting any auto service done, I will say this place is nothing special compared to all other tint shops. Unlike some of the customers I saw, I took time to ask questions to confirm the service and warranty I would be receiving. Great prices, but I received a lot of inconsistent information, as did my friend, who came here separately. My friend noted that his front windows (35%) came out darker than he expected...to which he was told they would fade and get lighter over time. Should tint even fade? He was also told that his car's windows were shaped more unique than other cars and that it would be more difficult to do. The edge of his passenger window now has a small missing strip of tint and his back windows are cut too short. By the way, his car is a VW Jetta. I ultimately decided on a more credible shop to get my tint done. If you're not concerned about quality and don't mind a sloppy cut job with complimentary bubbles, go here. Let me first start of by saying that the Window Tint Man;aka his name is Whally(interesting name lol) is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He is very easy going and simple to talk to. He will not pressure you with the service and gives good recommendation; there is a panel of the degree/darkness you want the tint to be so you can choose to your liking. On to the tinting. I got my front and rear windows tinted 35% all around and it looks great. When took off my old tint to due age; it was peeling off from the inside. He told me it was cheap tint and i did felt the difference between the two tints, the old one seems as though it can crinkle up really easily whereas the tint Whally felt of very good quality like it was thick; i dunno how to describe it lol. Whally worked very fast on my car and did a superb job. Like others have said, the film comes with lifetime warranty if anything were to happen to it. I would highly recommend Window Tint Man's window tinting services in the future and to anyone who is considering on getting their windows tinted. read more

Wally is the best! Great customer service and excellent work. Here is a true test of an auto tinting shop: Do they cut the tint around the rear brake light? That is way easier for them, but looks so much worse. (I am talking about the third brakelight which is in the rear window) Without even telling them they did it correctly. Also, Wally does a good job of listening to what you want and making targeted recommendations. For example, I told him that I wanted tinting all the way around (including passenger windows), but didn't want it too dark. He suggested I do the rear windshield in a darker tint (45) and the other side windows at 25...came out perfect...exactly what I was looking for. This is an asian shop...so just like every other asian shop if you pay in cash you get a discount. read more

Whally is THE MAN. Our sister bought a brand new Honda Accord and naturally wanted to get some tint done. I sent Mr. Whally a text, and within moments got back to me with a quote. Honestly, he could have said any price and we would have driven the car over. We arrived with the car and he explained the different films he carries, and educated us on each film, percentage, and what to expect. He also had many cars on hand to show us examples of what certain percentages looked like IN-PERSON. Remember, the darkness of the film isn't only based on the number printed -- interior color and exterior color makes a difference. We were tinting a black car. After discussion and Whally's recommendation, we went with the 35% front and 20% rear windows. Whally quoted a few hours for the job, and gave us a time that he should be done with it. If you've ever dealt with car-related services, you know the estimated time is exactly that -- estimated -- meaning, rarely do they get the job done at the time they mentioned. Not Whally, he said he would get it done at 2pm and what do you know, I get a call exactly at 2pm saying the car is done. We picked up the car and the tint job is perfect. He offers lifetime warranty and the basics that any tint shop would offer. But Whally has the biggest advantage no other shop has -- himself. He is probably the nicest, most genuine perfectionist you'll ever meet. Further Update: Several weeks later, we brought our Camry over for Whally to remove the rear tint that was installed by the previous owner. In case you didn't know, removing tint, especially with a defroster in the rear glass, is not the easiest task. Most shops either do not do it, or would charge more to compensate for the extra time they will spend on the job. Whally gave us a really great price on removal, and said he will be done in an hour. We went to the 24hr fitness on Chapman and worked out for an hour, and on the dot, we get a phone call saying the car is done. I've dealt with many tint shops in the past and you will never find an honest, genuine, perfectionist like Whally. As we mentioned before, please give Whally your business. Right off the bat Whally was friendly and you could tell that he was an honest person. That is important when you're talking about your car! You want the best quality. I've heard tons of horror stories about paying a lot for window tint and it fading out or peeling a year after installation. That sucks!! But with Window Tint Man I'm confident that won't be an issue! You can tell by the way that he works and the quality of the Tonys that he has, the tint is going to last. My experience with Whally was a great one I called about a week in advance to have my car done over the weekend since coordinating during the week is very difficult for us 8-5ivers. Whally was very accommodating and even offered to let me drop off my car the night before since he could store it over night. While he did promise an earlier time he asked me if it would be OK if I could pick up the car a bit later due to a family emergency. I was glad he asked instead of just stating it would be a later time than agreed, even which he offered he can stay later or come in early and finish it if I needed the car. We agreed on a later time on Sunday which was acceptable by myself and Whally. When discussing tint options Whally did show me the types of tints he uses and the costs. He also showed me his vehicle which had Limo tint on the rear window and 20% on the rest of the windows. I went with Whally's suggestion of 20% all around with Johnson Renegade tint which seemed to feel a bit thicker than his standard tint. His standard tint still seemed of very high quality I personally felt the need to jump to the middle tier because the color "seemed" a bit darker. But that is purely subjective as I am not a tinting professional. My overall cost to tint my 2015 Ford Fiesta ST was $200 with the upgraded tint On the day I was to pick up my car, Whally gave me a call about an hour of the agreed time of 2:00pm and let me know he was able to finish early. Due to my own issues I wasn't able to get to his place until just before 4:00pm on Sunday. When I got there Whally was happy and provided ample lighting in his garage for me to look at the tint job. It looked great! He stated there may be some bubbles as the tint cures but if anything was to happen to the tint to just bring it back and he will fix the problem as he guarantees it for life. I have to say, my tint is REALLY good. I have waited several months to post this review as tint can have issues over time, mine has had none. I got the highest quality ceramic tint that Whally offered. The cuts are precise and line up with the window seams nicely, there is NO light bleed through any edges and the 33% tint makes it so that even with the sun shining directly on me I can't feel heat but can still see at night.
