We were quoted for installation in mid-2025. The installation was delayed due to windows being back ordered, and the install day was pushed further "because an integral tool was broken." The install team arrived on time in late November 2025. We had a total of 4 windows due to be replaced. First window replaced was upstairs in a bedroom. Once installed & secured per the installation team I went into the room and look at the window. After gently pushing on the base of the window it pushed out of the rough opening that still had the interior trim in place - hard stop. Grabbed the install guy who reviewed it stating it shouldn't move that way. Obviously. They corrected it. I called the shop & explained the concern with their office staff who sent Jeremy (co-owner out). By the time Jeremy arrived the window was already corrected. Jeremy stated that the foam has an adhesive that secured the window in place. I may not be an installer, but I don't believe securing the window with foam is the answer. Next window installed upstairs. Same install guy says "don't put all of your weight on the window." I gently checked the window - no issues. Fast forward. Three of the four windows installed face the west where the prevailing wind blows with two of these windows in our master bedroom. The room has been SIGNIFICANTLY colder. I checked the windows on a windy day and boom - problem found. There was wind coming from AROUND the window! The sealant around the window was also coming apart after less than a week. I sent an email explaining the concern & specifically requested someone to come out. Jeremy arrived on time and I was not present. My wife let Jeremy in the home who ultimately explained that the "walls are colder than the windows...normal convection of air." Bullshit. After being filled in on the details of the conversation I again emailed the team refusing to sign off on the project. Included were photos & videos demonstrating the issues. They have continued to refuse to address the issue & provide a reasonable fix to the improperly sealed windows. I've been a contractor ordering through window world since the week they opened in Fort Wayne Indiana. I have faithfully bought my windows through them because they were a product that I stood behind for a good price but after being looked in the eye by the new owners telling me the prices will not change that they are set averagely through the nation they charge me an extra $100 $30 per window so instead of 245 per window like it has been set nationally like they told me I now had to pay $365 per window which is a complete rip off because that is high grade prices for medium grade windows I will no longer be purchasing my windows through window world as long as he's money greedy people have their control over it him and his mommy that runs it are destroying this company from the inside out to look somebody dead in their eye and tell them the prices are set nicely and then the final week later out of extra $130 per window is ridiculous and highway robbery you can contact any Window world surrounding cities and states and they are $130 cheaper than Jeremy and Beverly's Fort Wayne Indiana store avoid it at all costs they are trying to recover their losses from their bad judgments and try to charge the homeowners and contractors more money for nationally set window price.. his mom told me on my last nine window order it was 2:45 plus tax per window her son just told me I paid $ 365 which is a different price that I was given.. You came out and did a quote but then when my sister and I both tried on multiple occasions to make contact with someone to see about a text message your company sent about a promotion we were unable to speak to anyone except the secretary who had no information. The only thing we could do through her was leave a message. I had a conversation with her about how unprofessional it is for them to not respond to Potential customers And she acted like that's not how they conduct business. However, a personal text message was sent to the owner (Jeremy) of the company and multiple communications via phone calls from both my sister and I went unanswered And here we are at least four months later, and still no contact has been made from the company to either of us. I would give zero stars if I could. I was charged $1200 for furring strips for a siding install that were NEVER DELIVERED. Then when I called Jasmine said they were being used. Asked the contractors who said no they weren't even there. Followed up and Jasmine said I had to pay it anyways because my house is "too difficult." Then Window World said they were paying the contractors double because it's so much work. Funny the contractors didn't know that but don't worry I gave them a copy of the email so they can collect it! Still being charged for supplies I didn't get on a house that the contractors said wasn't as difficult as I was being led to believe. If you want to be lied to sure choose Window World. If you want a professional company that isn't all about deception and being money hungry then look elsewhere. I will NEVER use Window World again and honestly I'm considering small claims court due to the constant lies. Plus they peed in my yard. I have kids that's gross. If I could give ZERO STARS I would! This company has by far been the worst company I have ever done business with. Never again and I will never recommend this company to anyone. We placed our order in July 2018 for 3 windows and siding for the front of our house. We were told 5-6 weeks from start to finish. After 3-4 different visits in November to install the windows each time the window didn't seem to fit. Either too small or too big. Miscommunication between the business office and the contractors has left us without interior trim for a bedroom because it was thrown away. We could not cancel our order to go somewhere else because we were told that they would take us to court even though no services had been rendered yet. Here we were in December 2018 after 5 months of waiting they finally sent out a contractor to install the windows and then 7 days later a contractor to install siding. Now we are almost into March and we still have no trim for the bedroom that they said they would replace. The front office staff and the regional manager do not look to solve problems they look to control when and where their sevices are provided. *****UPDATE**** 5/16/16 - A different, more professional, crew showed up this morning to install the six windows that were correct. I sincerely hope that the same crew comes back to install the last one. They worked quickly to remove and install the windows and even calmed me down when I had a panic moment. I am so happy with my windows! For this reason (the second crew) I've updated my review. I can only give 4 stars because of the first crew and the fact that even though the owner promised to call me back, he never did. 5/10/16. First off, I may update this review at a later time - depending on what happens. I ordered 7 windows and the salesman took measurements and said it would take about 8 weeks to get the windows in. Imagine my surprise when a couple weeks later I get a call that my windows are in and we set up a time for installation. I made it for a Tuesday knowing that I would miss a class but I really wanted my son to have a window that he could open as his room is the hottest room in the house. They showed up within the time frame (barely) and the first words out of one of the installers was, "You don't really want us to install the windows today, do you since it's raining?" Since I had previously been told it wouldn't matter I was a little surprised. I asked if they took all the windows out and then put the new ones in and he said that they take one out and put one in and it wouldn't take that long. So they decided to verify the windows. Surprise, surprise one of the windows ordered was not the correct size. I asked if they could install the other 6 and the correct one could be installed when it was received. First he stated that they like to install all the windows at once and again brought up about it raining. I then got upset and he tried to call the office. He claimed they were not answering so I told him to call the salesman. He called Alan who then talked to me and apologized, I was very upset because the installers didn't even want to install the ones that were correct and told him to cancel everything. He said he would and said that he would get it figured out and would have the owner call me. Once again the installer complained about installing windows and said he had been doing it in the rain for a week. They left and I waited for the owner to call. When I talked to the owner, I explained how the installers weren't too happy about installing the windows and he said he would get back to his office, see if he could pull a replacement in the correct size or put a rush on getting the correct one ordered. He even said that they could come out on "a Saturday" to install the windows. Now, you think I'd be okay, and I would be however I am still waiting to hear back. I waited until after 10 a.m. and then called the office. The receptionist took all my information and said someone would call me. I'm still waiting. And, I think the installer took the card that had Alan's cellphone written on it because I can't find it anywhere. So, I still don't have my new windows, my son has to run 2 fans to keep his room cool enough to sleep, and I missed a class for no reason. Thanx Window World of Fort Wayne. read more

Also when they were replacing the windows they knocked a piece of siding off the side of my house and have not been back to fix it. Not too mention that most of the screens don't fit. We've had window world out 4 times to try and get these 2 casements right and each time they make news ones something is wrong with them. The first 3 tries the fitment was to big so the interior left window was near impossible to open the latch. The grids on each window have also been crooked each time. Since these are glass packs there is no way to fix the grids without smashing the glass. Is there not quality control at the factories where these are made? The 4th time they came out (06/15/2018; 3rd time 05/03/2018, 2nd time 04/03/2018, 1st time 03/19/2018) with the windows opening on the opposite sides, see pictures. The 4th time the manager, Justin, came out and said he'd stay until everything was completed. Needless to say he left because he was needed at the office, but he left before I discovered the windows were incorrect for a 4th time. On my 3rd time they promised me a small partial refund, which I agreed to, if they could get the windows right this 4th time. It's been a few weeks with multiple voicemails and emails left for Justin and the generic customer service email at the Fort Wayne office with no return calls, emails and you guessed it....no refund check. I understand nothing is perfect in this world, but just try and make it right. If you say you're going to refund me, then do it. Don't leave a job site early, in my opinion it was left early because he knew they screwed up again and he didn't want to deal with it - since the installers are contractors not employees. If anyone is in the Fort Wayne area, I would be happy to have you send me a private message and I'd invite you to my house to see the windows if you're considering purchasing. Window World - if you read this, please just refund me my money as you've tried to make it right 4 times. Let's just move our separate ways. read more

One of the worst companies I've ever worked with. The group that focuses on windows isn't the worst. You can tell they tried to rush about half the windows because their focus was to be done by end of day. Not do a solid job event if it meant being there part of another day. The company itself/siding group is the worst to work with. I bought siding for the whole house at the beginning. Of August and was told they would be there to work on the siding in 6 weeks. Their spokesman later says he's just told to say that to get your business. I ended up getting the siding started right after Christmas but I Informed them I needed a 2-3 week notice to properly plan a lift to help prep parts of the job both on my end and their end. One that costs $800 a Day was needed. They decided to call me the day before thanksgiving to tell me they would be there on Monday so had to rush order a lift. Go figure during a rainy back half of the week so ended up getting the forklift stuck in the yard and wasted $800. They didn't show up Monday like they said. So pretty mad about that and then the week after I call them to ask why haven't they showed up yet. I got told they would be there tomorrow. I then preceded to buy a dumpster for the job. They ended up not showing up until after Christmas and I ended up returning the dumpster Barely used. $540 lost there. Well got a tad bit in it. Was suppose to be a lot more but at this point I wasn't going to tear off a ton of siding like was previously discussed to get a discount. Did tear some off though that first day and the inside of the house on the front side got cold as hell throughout half the winter. Told them wtf my tenants are going to freeze inside can you event come over one day. Nope they couldn't do that after their blatant lies. Had to buy a ton of heaters to keep pipes from freezing. Speaking of that I'll discuss that more later. So they finally show up after Christmas. Get some siding done. Right before they decide to leave for an extended time they decided to tear off a bunch of siding on the back left side. The side the wind blows on and the side most my water pipes are at. We asked about covering it if they were going to be gone for a while. The man got an attitude over it. Wish I would've covered it anyways. Not that it would've helped much with the -15 days we had in February. Froze a bunch of pipes and forced me to tear down a bunch of the ceiling in the kitchen and redrywall it. When they finally came back in mid February they proceeded to use a ladder to get to the 3rd floor of the house and did ended up putting nails into my new roof. They did not properly caulk the holes though and I then ended up getting a leak in the front room and had to redrywall another section of a room I just got a few months ago drywalling. When I brought this up they were only going to fix the holes and demanding full payment. Pfft I'm not gonna wait another 2-3 months to get that done while I got a leak in my roof. They wanted to blame it on my roofer's from last fall. Funny how when we caulk it up there's no problem ever again and never a problem before. I decided best to not event pay the last $2.5k and am considering legal action at this point. Their main problem is they go through a 3rd party so you have no clue what you're gonna get and that 3rd party dictates a lot of the timeframes. read more
