I understand why it doesn't connect to the Bay Area other than the Marin people rejected it. The late night time are horrible and it doesn't go south after 7pm weekdays. For a commuter that's just a miss that they can't run it until 9pm like Bart. Marinites and Sonoma people are way too jealous and share nothing. 1 - It's CLOSED on every major holiday. They write all the time asking about how to get more ridership yet have 0 consistency. 2 - Entitled passengers as I finally had to take a photo. I've been on this train over 100 times and over 25 of them have had entitled riders who will not share seats. At this point I just let them complain and sit down anyway. You don't own the seats nor can you save seats for people jumping on in 30 minutes. The train really only goes 1 hour one way from larkspur to Windsor anyway.

I've actually never been on a horse in carriage so we stood in line for about an hour and got a free ride! It was so cute and authentic, and the gentleman giving us a ride, even dressed up old-fashioned like from the Late 1800s maybe 1900s return of the century regardless!! Such a cute quaint little town and I really loved this train shop and the old-fashioned authenticity of all the information they gave on Santa Rosa!! I definitely wanna check it out again!!

The staff are friendly. The interior is typically clean and most of the stops are incredibly convenient. Kids and grandkids love it so much as well. It's a great example to show the youth that public transportation can be quite efficient. Yay for this fantastic service!

Security was quick, getting to the gate was simple, and the whole experience felt refreshingly relaxed compared to the usual airport chaos. It's the kind of airport where you can actually enjoy the beginning or end of your trip instead of counting the minutes until you're through security. My only disappointment--and the reason for four instead of five stars--is that I expected a lot more Charles M. Schulz. With the airport carrying his name, I was hoping for more Snoopy, Charlie Brown, Woodstock, and Peanuts-themed artwork or displays throughout the terminal. There are a few touches here and there, but I left wishing they had leaned into the theme much more. It feels like a missed opportunity to give the airport a unique personality and celebrate one of the area's most beloved icons. That said, it's still a great little airport. Clean, efficient, friendly, and about as painless as air travel gets. If you're flying in or out of Sonoma County, this is a wonderful place to start your journey--I just hope they let Snoopy take over a little more someday. 4 stars!!

Of course, I wish it could become an international airport someday, but it's probably not busy enough for that. Even so, I'm very fortunate to have such a convenient airport nearby. I used to take the Airporter to SFO, but it's so expensive, about $52 each way. For many domestic trips, it's actually easier and more affordable to fly directly from STS. Whenever I have the option, I choose to fly from this airport. I also wish STS had an airport lounge, but I can't be too picky when the airport is this convenient. It's a small airport, but it has everything it needs. The staff are friendly, the airport is easy to navigate, and the whole experience is stress-free compared to larger airports. Overall, I'm grateful to have such a great regional airport so close to home.

There were no hassles nor hiccups. From the moment we met them at the train station till we were let off at the rest area ( our predetermined drop off point). We didn't have to stand in line at the hotel check in, that alone I dreaded. We attended a get to know your fellow travelers reception which was nice too. I am pinching myself that I have not stepped inside sooner than today (though I have taken photos outside on the wagon years ago and dined out in Railroad Square many times). Well, today is the day! What a cute little visitor's center with tons of brochures, magazines, pamphlets on many wine country attractions. There is a cute little gift shop that is scattered throughout visitor's center from Snoopy merchandise to Visit Santa Rosa gifts. In the other room contains the Northwestern Pacific train museum with old photos and artifacts you can explore. A recommended stop whether you are a tourist or a local! Even though I have lived in Santa Rosa for 12 years now, I wish I came in sooner given that I love Santa Rosa history, Snoopy, Trains and just old historic buildings. Check it out!

The offices, coffee shop and restaurant were all closed so it was easy to explore and take pictures without being disturbed. There's allegedly an aggressive security guard here (at Stony Point Lake) but we didn't see him.
