This area has NO cell reception, no GPS, nothing. Somehow our driver found us and was so pleasant. He helped me install our car seat. We had been stranded for hours and he just made the situation so much better with his positive attitude and friendliness. He got us to where we needed to be safely. I was quickly checked in and was able to grab my car in no time. The cars are parked just outside of the airport and I was out in no time. I was assigned a 2023 Jeep that it was in perfect condition. I arrived and the counter was closed with no one around. A couple was looking around the counter looking for keys they were told was hidden away for afterhours pickup. I ended up taking a lift to my hotel for the night and returning in the morning to pick up my rental vehicle. Pick up was quick and easy. The airport is small, so everything is close by. Pickup lot is around front. They give you the keys at the counter and you walk out to the car and drive off. No presentation of paperwork or parking gates to go through. Returning the car was not as quick and really easy. I do not remember being told but returns is in a different location from pick up. I tried returning the car to the same location as pick up, but no open spots were present. I ended up calling the office and being told it is on the right as you enter the airport pick up drop off area. Visually it has hard to see but it is the parking lot on the right just before the airport terminal. Returning the car was quick and fast and just a short walk to the terminal. A quirk at this location I noticed was the number of texts reminding me when the car was due to be returned. Other locations I have rented from were pretty flexible on what time I was returning the car. This location sent me a link to adjust return time.

The vehicle I received for my reservation on May 9th had a coolant tank that was way below minimum…read moreline. I showed the Budget agent at this location during the pick up time before I left. He told me to buy coolant and refill the coolant tank and I will be reimbursed at the drop off location. Since I was going to SoCal, I didn't want to risk the engine overheating. So, I went to autozone, purchased the coolant, and refilled the tank like they told me to. At the drop off location, I told them what had happened, showed them the before and after pictures along with the receipt from Autozone. They told me they could not do the reimbursement and that I will have to do it at the location I had originally picked up the car. On May 13th, I returned to the Budget at Airport Blvd (the original location) after my trip to inform them that was I was not able to be reimbursed at the drop off location. They told me they could not reimburse me since the car had a prepaid reservation. I feel cheated like I performed free maintenance for their vehicle. They wasted my time and energy and each gave my excuses on why they couldn't refund me for the coolant they told me to buy. Very upsetting.

Rate was fair, service was great, car exterior could have been cleaner (the windows were all a bit smudged up) I suppose we could have hit a gas station and dealt with it but it wasn't a deal breaker. Got me to my wine and meals which is all that mattered to me. Would totally rent from them again if their rate comes in as the best for my days in town. Easy breezy pick up and drop off! Final receipt emailed to me minutes after tossing the keys in the return box.
