Love this location versus the more famous one down the street though yes it's more an outdoor mall and yes the bathroom situation needs the biggest improvement of it all, the shops they have here are great with McD'z, Starbucks, Ross and yes FHB just to name a few parking is never really an issue here as majority are centrally located and with so many options to choose from I can see why it's actually getting much more crowded than it used to be. On this visit I came to drop of some donation at a Goodwill that they also have and most likely can't resist a peek into Ross but lots of service shops all in one place makes it my favorite spot to get some errands done. I like this shopping center. I came here a few times before but never wrote a review here. It's outdoors and it was a nice day here. I ended up going to Ross with hubby and ended up walking around. I have been to a few places nearby and have been excited to always come here and shop. A lot of food places to check out here. I recommend this pho place within the shopping center. It's really good and service is excellent. I have also gotten a massage at Massage Envy. Not quite a good experience there but it was okay. So much to check out here. Plenty of parking around the shopping center. I highly recommend coming here just to check out the stores that are all around the center. read more

Outdated. Parking lot need renovation. No mall directory (maybe they want us to play with maze?). Expect no fancy restaurants/shops. Personally, I'm a kind of person that still appreciates the natural beauty. I'm talking about the backdrop view. The few people around. Windward city can be confused with the other shopping center by the mall. However this location has 24 hour fitness below long, genki sushi, tamuras, Starbucks, ross, KFC, McDonald's, foodland, kozo sushi, satellite city hall, and other small places to eat at. There's many vacant places since Denny's recently closed down and some other places. American savings bank closed within the last year which makes the only American savings bank the one by the mall. Parking can be confusing and congested because exits are mostly one way in and out. Don't exit by Starbucks, you need to leave by McDonald's, 24 hour fitness, or longs. Oh yeah there's no bathrooms unless you are at either 24, not sure about genki and I think McDonald's bathroom is still closed because of covid. read more

Yes, it's not as slick as Windward Mall nor is it as well paved as Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center. However, Windward City Shopping Center is the first big retail area that you arrive at after coming over the Pali. On my way home from town, I can pay my cable bill, see my accountant, find a good deal at Ross, pick up my prescription at Longs, grab a snack at Bubble Berry, Starbucks, McDonald's or KFC and get some groceries at Foodland without driving all over the place/wasting gas/wasting time looking for parking! I like my bank in the same location where I do all of my errands. Walking around is good exercise and justifies my reward at Baskin Robbins! read more

Windward City Shopping Center is a good landmark to use when giving directions, since it's situated on a major junction -- Kamehameha Highway and Likelike Highway/Kaneohe Bay Drive. Tell folks to look for the First Hawaiian Bank, Foodland, KFC/Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Chevron Gas Station. It's located across Burger King (notice the billowing smoke) on the mauka side and Servco Windward Toyota. This heavily trafficked neighborhood strip mall has a very congested parking lot with narrow parking stalls. To make matters worse, the parking lot traffic flow leaves much to be desired. My advice is to proceed slowly and cautiously in the parking lot. I usually take the first parking space I see. McDonald's, Foodland, Longs/CVS, Ross Dress for Less, Windward Satellite City Hall/DMV, and 24 Hour Fitness appear to generate the high traffic to this mall. Sally Beauty Supply, Young's Laundry, and Dennys are also conveniently located here. read more

It's very outdated and the parking lot is poorly designed, but it has a little bit of everything to serve its Kaneohe residents. Businesses I frequent the most: - Foodland - Long's - Mike's Barber 2 (for my boys' and hubby's haircuts) - KJs Local Grindz (one of the best places for fried chicken) - Kin Sun (char siu) - Rainbow Crackseed (icee, fresh popcorn, candy, snacks) - L&L Drive Inn (ramen burger, chicken katsu!) - McDs - Baskin Robbins - Genki Sushi (soon to re-open with the new bullet delivery system!) - 24 Hour Fitness Businesses that may interest you: - Satellite City Hall (they provide most C&C services EXCEPT driver's license road tests) - Oceanic Time Warner - Starbucks - KFC - Ross Dress for Less - Chevron You can enter the parking lots from the main highways - Kamehameha Highway or Like Like Highway (and the back roads). The lot in the back by Long's tends to be less chaotic than the front by First Hawaiian Bank/Starbucks/Denny's). I like to access the parking by heading down Kam Highway, turning right on KOA Kahiko Street, then hanging a left into the parking lot where Long's is. Need a restroom? There's a set in the walkway next to Mike's Barber, or you can go to one of the tenants' restrooms (Starbucks, McD's). read more

I was soooooo disappointed today!! After a nice day of lunch with a friend, coffee to answer a few emails and then bargain hunting at Ross....I find a threatening parking ticket on my car!! There are no posted signs about a time limit but the ticket noted that I was there for 3 hours. Isn't that a GOOD thing!? That means I'm spending money! It requests $15 for parking violation; if not paid in 10 days, $40...or risk being towed!!! To frustrate me even further, there is no posted number for the property management company. I searched online and called 411...it was just a wild goose chase until I called Foodland. The nice guy there, was able to give me a direct number and tell me the name of the company; but no one ever returned my call. I've been coming to the Starbucks here at least a couple times a week (close to another client); often also having dinner at the many restaurants here too. But until this is resolved, I will NOT be hanging out here (since they've threatened to tow my car). TERRIBLE!! Shame on you!! read more

This must be the closest shopping center to the Hawaii Loa Campus of HPU. Usually before or after, we'd come here mostly to grab a bite to eat. There are a lot of parking wrapping around the shops. A lot of food places / restaurants. Getting out can be confusing, especially if you're trying to head back to campus. read more

Windward City Shopping Center has a pretty great variety of establishments. You need to get groceries? Foodland. Need to satisfy your PSL craving? Good thing there's a Starbucks. Need a quick lunch?Mcdonalds drive through! Need to have your best friend fill up your tires? Gas station. Need a cheepcheep outfit/shoes/bedding/kitchen appliances/ candles etc.? Ross! Need that fried chicken plate from KJs or sushi from genki? They've got it. There is also a longs and little snack shops. See? There are so many great things to buy here! There is always ample parking and the drivers are usually friendly. There are sometimes a lot of kids from Castle high school, like almost overrun kind. But that's ok. It's also very conveniently located at the end of Like Like. I think this little shopping center is overlooked by many people. It's definitely a good choice for your shopping needs! read more

It's one of the 2 major shopping centers in Kaneohe - at least the ones I am familiar with. The other being Windward Mall. How I can remember this shopping center is that this place has the only 24 Hour Fitness location in windward Oahu. The mall itself has basically pretty much anything you would need here: Starbucks, choice restaurants and eateries, and some speciality retailers to fill the tenant slots. This open air shopping haven is pretty nice and low key. They also have the credit union nearby and the Foodland as well. I'm glad that Windward City Shopping Center is on the public bus lines and you don't need to really have to walk anywhere far to get to it. However, you would need the bus if you want to shuttle yourself in between Windward City and Windward Mall, just in case you can't find anything at Windward City. This place is rather small, but it has everything you'd basically need. The parking I thought was decently ample, although I could compare it to Kahala Mall or Koko Marina Shopping Center, when it can get mad crazy during peak times and the holidays. WCSC has just the right mix of businesses to serve the needs of it's local community. For It's small size the center offers a lot of choices for the hungry shopper, from American to Vietnamese cuisine. With a 24hr fitness gym,American Savings Bank,Satellite City Hall and other business this Center has all the basics covered. The shopping center is also ideally located on the main bus routes on Kamehameha and Likelike Hwy. The major draw back here may be the tight parking stalls in some areas of the parking lot which needs repaving. read more

I (sadly) live, and have lived, much of my life at WCSC. There isn't really a convenient way to get out of the tangled parking lot, and traffic's always a bitch, but I suppose that's because there's always so much going on. When I was a kid, I used to be so fascinated by the vibrant, proverbial Martin Charlot mural in the McDonald's here (which sadly did not survive the remodel). I vaguely remember back in the days of Gem and Flakey Jake's in the 80's. I even remember going to a couple of movies in the theater where 24 Hour Fitness is now. So, although no longer for Shanghai McNuggets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chicken_McNuggets#Advertising) smuggled into an "Ernest Goes To Camp" matinee, I'm at WCSC at least three times a week, nowadays. The ONLY time I come outta my way to this shopping center is for KJ'S LOCAL GRINDZ furikake chicken! Other than that, It's a basic shopping center. I like how they have Ross here! It's not the tidiest Ross, but when I need something to wear and don't have time to get to the mall, Ross is a great second option. i usually never have a hard time finding parking. So thats a plus! This is one of two major shopping areas next to Windward mall in the Windward/Kaneohe side. The shopping area is not that bad. The parking is kinda sketchy becuase of the roads and unorthodox parking stalls but the shopping places in the area are pretty good. FHB, Mcdo, Denny's, L&L, Baskin Robbins, Ross, Genki Sushi, Blazin Steaks, Subway, Pizza Hut, 24 Hour Fit, etc. They have quite a decent line up of shops for a small town shopping plaza area. Getting into the shopping area gong down Likelike or though Kam Highway is good but going out of the Shopping area is small kine kinda hassle because you can only go one way in which you have to turn into this semi-residential area, turn left, and go from there. The shopping area is pretty easy to spot which you are in the area and it's conveniently located right in the intersection of Honda Windward and 7-11 across the street. This place isn't that great of a shopping center compared to other shopping centers around the island. This place is mainly a center of resturaunts. The only clothing place around this area is Ross. Most of the dining places arent that great. Except for Ayame Curry and KJs local grinds. Among the chain resturaunts are Mc Donalds, Subway, L and L, pizzahut, and genki sushi. In the rear of the shopping center, the parking is confusing. There are large parking areas and an island in the middle, which always seems to be getting replaced with some sort of healthy juice bar. I'm just getting use to automated Sushi delivery system here but it's actually turned out to be a fun and pleasant experience. service was friendly and accommodating and willing to help if orders telling longer then expected. Really good crew with maybe one who really wasn't too pleasant or acknowledging. Perhaps she was rushed or out of sorts. I recommend this place to all of my Windward friends. One of the fastest satellite city halls on the island. Though it is not much for seating and the customer service is bland, it is the fastest service of the many DMVs I have encountered. From vehicle registration to title transfer. This is the place to go if you are limited on time. Just do yourself a favor and make sure you have all your documents in order and that you have a form of payment. They do take debit or credit cards, but take a check incase the system is down. However, no matter how fast they are, save yourself some time and renew online!!! read more

Windward City Shopping Center is located at the intersection of Likelike and Kamehameha Highways. It's at the corner where you see the First Hawaiian Bank, the bank is part of the shopping center. It's got a lot of the main stores - Blazin' Steaks, Baskin Robins, McDonald's, Ross, Longs, Foodland, Payless Shoe Source, Starbucks, First Hawaiian Bank, 24 Hour Fitness. Just to name a few. Those are just the stores I was able to see for the time I was there. One of the faults at this mall is the layout. Stores are either bunched together in a big group or they are all over the place in separate sections or in their own stand-alone buildings. You can't see what shops are on the other side unless you actually physically literally specifically deliberately walk there. Thanks to Yelp, I saw that there was a Payless Shoe Source here. Got to the shopping center and had no clue where to park to be closest to this store. During my wandering journey seeking this undisclosed location, another customer approached me and asked if I knew where Edible Arrangements is. If you had offered me $10 million for the correct answer, I would not have been able to even guess......I would say, "It's within a mile from here?!?! Can I have the $10 million now?" But with my luck, it would be 1.1 mile away!!!! There was no mall map/directory anywhere! I even wanted to use the restroom before I left and could not see any signs or indications that one even existed here. I've actually been to the 24 Hour Fitness at this shopping center, I know it's near Longs. But from where I was standing at Starbucks, I could not tell you how to get to the gym. Even if you offered me $10 million bucks! And the parking. .... Sure, there are a lot of stalls all over the place. If you need to get out, it's best you know the orientation so you know which street you pop out on, so you can get on the right highway to go home! Has all shops for whatever it is a you're looking for but good luck in the parking. The parking is horrible! Stalls that are too tight, roads aren't maintained, and the layout of the parking is ridiculous. So, when it gets busy it becomes a circus in the parking lot and I usually try and stay away. Leaving this shopping center can get confusing too. Some roads are one way and sometimes you have to go completely around the entire shopping center to get out. read more

This is a convenient location to grab a bite to eat or to just kill time. However, the food selection is a bit limited. I wish they would bring in a Jamba or a decent boba place (Berry Fresh Cafe isn't all that great..). The reason I'm giving 2 stars is for their parking situation. I'm still upset at the fact that my car was ticketed even though I was here in Starbucks the entire time. It's not like I left my car here to go somewhere else.. I am a paying customer at one of their stores!! Furthermore, if you're trying to find parking for the gym in the morning, you might as well save your time and park near longs and just walk over. There's almost always no parking in front of 24. Ridiculous! Also, drivers in general are just so RUDE here. They all think they own the road and don't even stop if they see that you're reversing. The parking lots cramped and is in dire need of being repaved. The paint color of the buildings is circa 1992. I fear getting ran over while walking in this parking lot during lunch or when walking to the gym. But I work in this shopping center, so I really got no choice. It's really a landmark in Kaneohe. If you say Windward City, people will automatically know where you're talking about. Decent place to run errands or go grocery shopping. Other than that, head to the mall down the street, or the even bigger mall called Ala Moana. read more

Because I frequent businesses at Windward City the rating I give is a 3 star. Had the businesses here not been good, this shopping center would definitely get a 2 or even a 1. The shopping center itself is pretty bad. The pavement is uneven in many areas. The stalls are so tightly packed together many get unused because people don't park well enough. The structure of the buildings looks as though it needs a major facelift. I don't remember the last time Windward City had any renovations (excluding McDonald's because they're not directly connected to the main buildings containing most of the stores). For how busy this shopping center is you would think the owner of Windward City Shopping Center would at least repave the parking lot and make the stales a little more shopper friendly. Soo when did Windward City shopping center get chubby chalkers?! We just went there yesterday to get a bubble drink and sushi and seen this MARY writing tickets, etc & thought oh that's crazy. Not even 15 mins later I come back and there's a ticket on my truck ( seriously?) My bf stops the lady who was by Ross now (while we parked by Kozo) and says whoa, we just parked here, grabbed our snacks and what is this? She said we were there for three hours, since 11am.. MARY I was in town at 11am, Iike for real? She was giving us attitude and head bobbles and going on and on about how we were there for three hours to look at our tire (which looked like scribbles of a chalk mark) & finally write down a # to call if we didn't wanna pay the ticket and got chauffeured off to the other side of the parking lot. So we went to find out what her name is and she was gone nowhere to be found. But her little chariot driver told us her name was Theresa. So Theresa, high 5 on your hustling!
