Live really close by but have never used this wash until recently. Really regret not using their services sooner. My car was so filthy when I took it to this hand washing car wash. This place is cash only but has an ATM on site. They boast a number of specials throughout the week. They have an early bird special available before 10am during the weekday and and ladies 1/2 prices special on Wednesdays. I came on a Wednesday and got the deal. Total time was less than 15 minutes. Plenty of seating inside. Also could hang outside if you prefer. Usually there is a nice lady selling elotes and slushees. Overall my car was cleaned well. Only complaint was that my flat screen on my dashboard had some water spots. Guessing they didn't use a specialty towel with just windex. read more

I went yesterday, for my first carwash with them. I'll give them credit for being INCREDIBLY fast, but as a result of their speed, they missed the COMPLETE interior. It wasn't wiped down. I got in and drove away as I was running late for an event. When I got to the stoplight at Western, I realized the dashboard and the radio screen were COATED still in dust from the weeks of road construction dust in our neighborhood. I tried calling today, to see if they had time for me to come and have them do THAT correctly...there was no answer. I'll try tomorrow, as the website states they're open tomorrow. This car wash used to be good, However over the past year the service has gotten worst and worst. To a point that you take the car I. There to get a a super wash and those guys they have there are so lazy they don't even vaccum the car properly The windows don't get cleaned right and they tend to leave one side of the car dirtier then The other..the side you can't see while you're watch them. I recently got very upset because I from the minute I drove in they were watching me because they know I was there the weekend prior and they literally did nit do the service I paid them to do. When they tell me the car is ready to go,, I inspect the car to find that they didn't even vaccum the back seats properly. The front was also NOT VACUMMED thoroughly when I tell the detailer something he said I didn't ha e to scream at him, I really screamed and let him have it. Quick, efficient & affordable car wash in the city. I went ~4pm on a Sunday & the wait wasn't too bad. The team is great at quickly moving the process along. I brought my pups along for the ride & it was actually pretty fun. A few of the team members played with the pups through the glass & gave them love after the car wash was done. Just had my car washed here. Outside looked fine but once I got in my car it did not feel clean. They aren't at all thorough. They seem to have a lot of fun spraying your car with water, but when it comes to wiping down your dash, your center console, the back seat ground area, and etc., it seems to be a very quick wipe and call it good. My car was not very dirty to begin with and I emptied it out completely and they still could not come through for me. At $23 for a small SUV it's not even the best deal in town. I wish it were better because it's only one block from my house, but alas. When I lived near the Elston Hand Car wash it was bliss- they were so, so good. After paying for the super wash, I told him that there was still dirt on the bottom half, which they claim would not come out, I wiped it clean with my finger in front of them to show them. Finally I found this one, it took quite a wait on Saturday afternoon (note to self: come earlier) but they did a through job inside and outside for only $17! I love supporting small businesses. Which is why I haven't written this review until now. Today is the fourth time I've gone here during their hours of operation, only for it to be closed. Two of the times were rainy days so I thought it might be because of that. Another time, it was perfectly sunny. Today it rained in the morning but hasn't for hours so I drove over, only for them to be closed despite seeing workers hanging around inside. After the second time that happened I started calling before I drove over, but they have never answered their phone. They have no website or social media page where they could post updates on their hours. They do a really good job when they are open, and are the most reasonably priced in the area. I just can't support them any more for how unreliable they are. I have a very hairy dog in my car all the time so I often need a vacuum last minute so I'll need to find somewhere else. read more

I have been coming here for over 10 years and I LOVE this spot! Ask them for a members card and after ten washes you get a free wash. I happen to love not so near but don't mind the drive since I know per car, they usually take from 15-20 minutes per vehicle. But if you think about it, it is really a good thing because this means they take their time per customer and let me tell you, I have 3 vehicles that stay looking new thanks to their taking their time. They open up fairly early and I love coming early due to the fact that their is no line. On an average, the expected wait time is about 5 minutes once you enter their establishment and for them to begin on your car. Gotta love a place that really cleans the way you are supposed to get your vehicle cleaned. Their are about 10 guys who in my opinion are really some of the most honest guys to be trusted with my car. I've left my iPad, camera, and even wallet inside my vehicle and they never so much as touch it. I can appreciate that in a car wash. For a car you are looking at $10 a pop, and the way they clean, it is well worth it ~ Inside and out! And they shine the H ~ E ~ Double hockey sticks out of the tires. They do have a tip box at the end of your journey (at the register) and today of course I used my free wash and tipped the $10 because they truly work their butts off, so don't be stingy! read more

Went to glitz for a car wash and they were closed so I went to Windy City. They did amazing job. All I can say is goodbye glitz.

This place would get 5 stars, but while they do a good job, it's not great and here is why... Drying needs improvement. I generally have quite a few water streaks on my car by the time I get home which I then have to clean off. This is especially annoying during the winter time because they're white due to the salt. The staff could be more friendly. I get it, it's a difficult job and I'm sure at times frustrating, but have one employee, maybe a manager that puts on a smile and greets you. I come here regularly because i like the technique used to clean the car, but have yet to meet an employee or have anyone introduce themselves, a minor detail but would be an added benefit to get customers to keep coming back. The line gets out of control if you don't go early, something out of your control, however frustrating for customers. Especially when you drive quite far to get here. Regardless, besides when i wash our cars myself, this is the only place i frequent. read more

Pulled in and saw my car get washed, did a nice job overall but when I got home and got out the car. This place rocks! I only paid $10, and they cleaned my car inside and out so well, it looked like it was never dirty. And let me tell you, I drove one verrrrrrrrrry filthy car into their garage. I don't think I'd been to a car wash for a year. That means almost two whole Chicago winters, people. Gross. Not only did they vacuum the floors, but they took the floor mats *out of the car* and vacuumed underneath them. Plus, they moved the seats and cleaned around them too. One of the guys brought a bracelet to me he found under the seat that I had lost months ago. That's right. He returned it to me. When I wouldn't have even known if someone had taken it. PLUS, they put down a towel for me to wipe my feet on before I got back in the car so I wouldn't muddy up the freshly vacuumed floor. And they also gave me a punch card.
