Located within the city, this car wash has already become my favorite. I always wash my truck myself except in the winter. I've been here twice and they have done an excellent job both times. The only issue is the wait time to get inside - you have to wait in your parked car on the street. Nevertheless, their rates are reasonable and they usually take 10-15 min to wash my truck. Truck wash today cost me $48.

This was an interesting experience indeed, but they got the job done. I was sort of trapped into getting my car washed. It was my first time visiting Gold Coast Car Wash and when I drove up to the garage door it didn't open. At first I thought they were closed but I saw people who looked liked customers so I waited in my car but then decided to get out to check if they were, in fact, open. But right after I got out of the car the garage door opened as if I had activated a sensor. And when I looked I saw an attendant who motioned for me to drive in. Instead of getting back into my car to drive in I walked to the attendant and asked about the pricing. Being unsure I told him I needed to think about it and come back. However, by the time I got back to my car there were three cars waiting in the street behind me to drive into the car wash service. Then a woman from one of the cars yelled at another car to say she was next in line after me. At that point, seeing how things might get escalated, I decided to pull into the establishment and get my car washed after all. I paid $22.00 for the exterior. The attendant doubles as the cashier in the lobby being both places at once. For the cars behind me I noticed some people stayed in the car while it was being washed. I waited in the lobby area and kept an eye on my car to see what they were doing. They basically sprayed my car with water or some water solution and dried it with hand towels. Overall I'd come back again now knowing what to expect. Like any establishment that you visit for the first time I was looking for a little more hand holding but it became easy to figure out how things worked without it. I talked to another customer who said she's been coming there for 20 years and it's the closest place in downtown Chicago to get a good car wash. I noticed there were a lot of luxury vehicles in line. She was driving a Range Rover, but another customer was in a Ford Focus and a Toyota Camry was in front of me.

Poor vacuuming & overall cleaning job.

Requested the cleaning inside & outside service, paid $32 just for service and when I saw that they didn't even do the dashboard & was left dusty I didn't even care to tip they started singing a song in Spanish saying "I don't have money". I'm a great tipper when people deserve it, but they just didn't even care to provide the service I asked & paid for. I should of trusted the previous reviews..

They burned the back passenger seat and backseat of my car with the steamer. When I tried to call to ask about it they hung up on me three times and then stopped answering the phone. Avoid taking your car here if you care about the value of your vehicle.

I go to this car was on a regular basis. I am always satisfied with the service I receive. The Orleans Street location is very convenient to Gold Coast, Old Town and River North neighbors. It's also spacious, that can accommodate several cars at once. The guys working are always polite and helpful. They are professional and friendly. The staff greets me nicely and bid me a nice farewell. When finished, I always leave with a super clean car. They dry my car really well, which is important. Water spots ruin a great wash.

I always take my motorcycle to be washed there, they are quick, have a fair price and wash well.

They always do a good job and they work very hard. It is a little expensive though, especially for an SUV.

They also tried to talk me out of certain parts I requested, saying they weren't a good investment, but when I agreed to go with their suggestion, they said they'd call back in a couple of hours... and never did. This has happened three times now. At this point, it feels like they pick and choose which customers they want to deal with and which jobs are worth their time. For the customer, it ends up being a frustrating waste of time and energy. If you value clear communication, follow-through, and respect for your time, I would look elsewhere.

I took my car in because my sunroof was stuck open. They gave me an estimate to fix it and I agreed to have the service done. Ultimately they were not able to fix it and I still had to take it to the dealer for repair who told me the damage that was done would result in an even more expensive repair. Overall, I had a horrible experience with poor communication throughout. They had my car for several weeks and I had to chase them for updates. After the first week with no updates, I finally reached the shop manager and the response I got was to "be patient". This was the state of my car when I picked it up, which was not the state I dropped it off in. Although my car was over 10 years old it was in nearly perfect condition when I dropped it off. The car was hit while parked on the street outside the shop. When I saw the damage I went back into the shop and they sent me to their body shop to have it buffed out. Much of the damage came out but not all of it. Nothing was offered to rectify the damage done to the interior of the car. I sent emails to the shop with the pictures below, but got no response.

This place is a shambles and a stain on body shops everywhere - never in my…read more25 years as a driver have I ever had body repairs done so incompetently and without regard to any quality assurance whatsoever. I came in with minor scuffing damage done by a sideswipe on the front passenger side, without any dents or damage to the headlight lens or any sensors. I was quoted an estimate to fix the car in about 5 business days - drop off on Monday, pick up on Friday. The first of many failed commitments as it took 11 days (including the weekend and Memorial Day, granted) to get the car back. The bigger problem is that as soon as I got the car, I noticed that the paint job was botched, with multiple (I counted 8 but there were more) pits on the paint that probably were paint bubbles that formed and burst during the rushed baking and curing process and then were completely overlooked during the (I am assuming nonexistent) quality assurance inspection. When I brought this up to my rep's attention, the pattern was established - still friendly and prompt, but complete failure to explain what happened to cause the pits, why the QA process was skipped over and to involve a supervisor immediately. The "apology" was basically "Sorry about that, but don't worry, you have a lifetime warranty on the repair" - words I would hear over and over again as you will read on. So, what can a guy do but arrange to come back to the shop, drop off his car and get an Uber home (which I paid for myself round trip, mind you - the shop never offered a reimbursement). The redo of the repaint took two days and then I finally had my car fixed completely! Right? Nope. This time around - having my trust in this place shot already - I do a very thorough inspection and yes, the paint APPEARS fine (although I wouldn't wonder if they skipped the primer this time and I have perforation rust in a year or two but time will show). HOWEVER, the wheel arch trim - which has to be installed brand new each time that car panel is repainted - is noticeably loose and popping in and out like a badly attached denture (don't ask how I know) at the mere press of a finger. See above for the already familiar process of how the shop handled this - the rep saying (second time in a row) "Sorry about that, but don't worry, you have a lifetime warranty on the repair". Still friendly and prompt, but complete failure to explain what happened to cause the botched adhesive, why the QA process was skipped over and to involve a supervisor immediately - at this point to apologize to me personally over a second failure in a row. Fast forward another few days (the part had to be ordered and painted in advance again) when I drove to the shop to have the trim piece removed and the new one attached. This time, it APPEARS to be fine, and so three weeks later and two failures later I finally had the car body work completed. Not only are these the only two examples of a failed body repair I have ever experienced in 25 years, but the repeated failures of the repairs and the lack of any QA - especially the second time when this should have become the focus of a manager's attention - are unforgivable. Final thought - when I mentioned this ordeal to my trusted rep at the service center I go to, he said he recommends to his clients to skip this shop, as they do the worst jobs ever and frequently show up with cars taken apart that they do not know how to put together again. Yikes. To recap - STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.

The first mishap came when they told me my bill was going to be less than $1000 but ended up being about $2000 when I came to pick it up. They said they'd work with me but ended up knocking off only about $20 as if that made a difference. Then, I take a look at the work they did and it was just terrible. They gave me every excuse under the sun but ended up taking it back to "fix" a few issues that still remained on the car. We spoke about them fixing multiple issues, however, only one of them was addressed when I came to pick up my car for the second time. The service manager kept trying to tell me I don't know what I'm talking about despite personally working on a Best Paint In Show awarded car at Pebble Beach. The more I spoke to him, the more I realized how much of a scam artist this guy, and apparently the company, is. Either way, once again, they told me I could bring the car back for a third time to get the scuffs buffed out that they were supposed to take out already. The next thing that happened just goes to show how dishonest they truly are. The insurance company recommended a new bumper and EuroCollision both charged me for one and "confirmed" they replaced it. However, a few months later, I decided to sell off my car in pieces, and the "new" bumper that EuroCollision "installed" has a 2003 manufacturers date on it, in addition to very unique damaged that was present before my visit. CONFIRMED: EuroCollision practices insurance fraud and passes the BS onto its customers because they're not fulfilling the work they're supposed to be. Finally, upon removing my rocker panel, I found about 5lbs of glue to make the weather strip stay in place after they broke it and decided they didn't want to spend $10 to replace it. So while removing the rocker panel, the glue ripped off paint and is now destroyed. I will absolutely be doing everything in my power to get the word out that EuroCollision is a bunch of scam artists.
