Hands down the best decision we made when we decided to host 11 boys for a birthday party sleepover. They were prompt, personable and had hundreds of games to choose from. The kids had the best time and I will be recommending them to anyone else I know crazy enough to host this many kids for a sleepover

Kids having a blast playing games!

Fantastic service! Highly recommend! Booked Bob Lockwood for my son's 11th birthday party! All 17 kids had a blast! Everything worked out perfectly! Would definitely hire him again for a future event! Windy City Game Theatre is awesome!

Incredible experience, we rented the Windy City Game Theater for our 17 year olds birthday and him and his buddy had a blast! Their jaw dropped when the beautiful gaming trailer pulled up to our house and I've never seen these kids have such a great time! The gaming coach was incredible and he gave great instructions and rules to the kid, and you could tell he loves what he does! Highly recommended to anyone throwing a party in the Chicago area, would love to rent again!

    So cool!

This is such an amazing experience for the gamer kids! So well equipped and such an amazing host! They took care of everything from beginning to end and had such a quick response. Thank you Bob so much for giving the kids a great experience and such a fun time! This truck is so well equipped with the ability to help those with disabilities as well as having indoor heating! I will be recommending this to anyone and everyone! Definitely looking forward to booking in the near future!

Loved this for our sons birthday party, it's like a party bus for kids! There are many platforms, consoles and games to choose from and I especially appreciated that they supply their own power and internet(not always the case with other similar trucks I had looked into). The atmosphere of the truck is great for the kids too...comfy seating, foot rests, awesome party lighting, and the video game related music playing throughout the truck sets the tone...even caught myself bopping along to some old Mario brothers music. The kids had a blast and we couldn't even get them to come out to eat when the pizza showed up! The staff and personnel were very accommodating and friendly and the whole event was awesome-highly rexom

My first experience with Windy city game theater is my son went to a party and he loved it so much that he wanted it for his own party. Bob was one of the most professional people I have ever worked with. Booking with him was really simple and the cost of the party was worth every penny. He stated in the contract that he will show up 30 minutes early to set up. My party was scheduled for 1 PM and he was here at 12:15. I thought that was so impressive. He even allowed the kids to go into the truck early because he was ready. This was the most laid-back party I've ever had with my kids because the kids had snacks, and they were able to play their games of their choice. Bob made sure that every kid was involved and was able to play a game that they liked. If you have a child who really likes gaming, I would recommend booking this truck because it was worth every penny and then some. Bob, thank you for making my sons birthday party a memorable one.

Since it's a small walk-up, it's not physically demanding. There are many places to hide and take cover. The equipment was great. I thought it was awesome that there's a display on the gun that shows stats on how much life you have, how much ammo is left, who shot you, who you show and then at the end of each mission, it shows how many terminations and hits you made and how many ammo you used. The missions are fun and take about 10 minutes each. The ability to re-spawn and the number of ammo you get depends on the mission. A lot of them are unlimited re-spawn and ammo. You have to sign a waiver before you can play. There are free arcade games in the lobby you can play while you wait to go into the arena. They also have a locker area where you can store your valuables while you are in play. You have the option of playing by the hour or by the mission: $30/hour or $15 for 3 missions. There's a Groupon deal that's available which offers 1.5 hours (90 minutes) for about $20/person. This was what we did and it was a great deal. You should call for a reservation ahead of time. Tips: -Call to make a reservation -Wear something comfortable and not too warm since you'll be working up a sweat -Bring a bottle of water to rehydrate after (or they also sell bottle water in the lobby) Location: In a strip mall near Burger King

We really didn't know what we were expecting when we got there. No one else was there, but these 3 girls that were working. We decided to do an hour of play so that we were able to play all the games. We knew it would be 1 on 1, so it wouldn't as much fun with a big group, but still fun. When we walked into the arena, I was wowed. It was so cool. It was like walking onto a movie set! It takes place in part of the haunted house, so it's spooky, dark, flashing lights, props that scare the crap out of you, sporadically thrown about. All while our own Pandora Radio station was blasting in every room. The games were fun, each one lasting around 10 minutes with different objectives. The coolest thing about this was 2 of the girls working joined us so that "it would be more fun for [us]" which was awesome. They played with us for the whole hour and we all had a blast. You can have up to 16 people playing, but honestly I think that's too many and you'll always be on top of each other. Don't have a group larger than 8 and you'll be golden!

There was a pretty good overview of what to expect and how the equipment was used. The haunted house layout was the same except that it was filled with zombies charging at you. The gun was easy to use and the staff reloaded the magazine for you and ensured it worked for you. What a hugely fun experience! The warehouse is located about an hour from Chicago but the drive is well worth it! There is a lot of referee parking in the area and some public parking for about $4 closer by. I had a reservation for 8pm and there was already quite a crowd when we arrived. With our Groupon we got VIP bands which gave us locker access to lock up our things as well as extra ammo halfway through the warehouse. Registration and signing up for a username were both quick and easy. However the wait to get in was very long. We didn't end up going in until about 10 pm. We went and got some food around the corner at a pizza place (Doughballs, yummy) and that helped to pass some of the time. Finally the moment came to enter: we were given our weapons, flashlights, and told that there were 300 zombies inside for us to kill. I was terrified at this point, but was confident that my companions would keep me safe. It was beyond fun going through the pitch blackness and shooting zombies that popped up around corners or even came running up from behind. Highly recommend!!! If you love laser tag, this is a must! Took off a star for the long wait and because I wish it lasted longer once we were inside.

Completely Oversold and Ruined Our Family Day…read more We came to Astro Fun World on a rainy day, and unfortunately it was one of the most disappointing family outings we've had. The first warning sign should have been the 30+ people waiting just to purchase wristbands. With only one employee working the front counter, it took us about 20 minutes just to get inside. Looking back, we should have turned around right then. Once inside, it only got worse. Every attraction had an unbelievable wait. We started at the ropes course, where we stood in line for over an hour and a half with almost no movement. After 30 minutes, I sent my husband to take the kids to mini golf because it was obvious we weren't getting anywhere. Meanwhile, I stayed in line for another hour watching the go-kart line double in size while ours barely moved. The building was packed far beyond what it appeared to comfortably handle. The air conditioning couldn't keep up, making it hot, crowded, and miserable. Kids everywhere--not just mine--were becoming restless, crying, melting down, and asking to leave. Parents around us were frustrated and giving up after standing in line for long periods with no progress because their children simply couldn't take it anymore. What made it so disappointing wasn't just the long waits--it was the feeling that Astro Fun World continued admitting more and more guests without any regard for the experience of the people already inside. At some point, there has to be a balance between making sales and providing an enjoyable experience. Instead of spending quality time making memories with my family, we spent most of our visit standing in lines, sweating, calming disappointed children, and watching our day disappear. Family time is precious, and this outing was supposed to be fun. Instead, it left everyone frustrated, exhausted, and wanting to go home. I understand rainy days bring bigger crowds, but there should be better crowd control, staffing, and capacity limits. No family should spend the majority of their visit waiting in lines that barely move while continuing to watch more people pour through the doors. Sadly, this was a complete waste of time and money, and we won't be returning unless major changes are made.

Like the rides, they have two courses which are both so fun and completely different. One course is in the center of everything (similar to an outdoor course). MY GUN WAS BROKEN 3 or 4 TIMES I MISSED BASICALLY HALF OF MY FIRST SESSION The level of professionalism from the staff was absolutely unacceptable. An employee actually joined the other team during our laser tag game and was openly cheating alongside them. My girlfriend's brother and his girlfriend were on that team, and the employee was telling them how to cheat and giving them information during the game. When my girlfriend spoke up about it, the employee argued with her before eventually being told to calm down. Watching an employee actively participate in cheating and then argue with a paying customer who called it out was ridiculous. Then we pointed out another person who was openly cheating. The person was eliminated and then stood around giving information to their team so they could know where people were. When I brought this to the employee's attention, I was basically told there was nothing they could do because the person "wasn't there." Then I was threatened with being kicked out if I continued to be "disrespectful." At that point, I wasn't even trying to argue anymore. My time was already basically up, so there was no point in continuing the conversation or asking for a refund. But the way my girlfriend and I were spoken to was completely unacceptable. There is a huge difference between enforcing rules and disrespecting customers. If an establishment has rules, enforce them fairly. If someone is cheating, address it. And if a customer has a legitimate complaint, have an adult conversation with them instead of arguing with them and threatening to kick them out. I'm a regular customer, and after this experience I can honestly say I have no reason to come back. I don't care about getting into an argument with a minimum-wage employee, and I certainly wasn't going to turn a stupid laser tag game into a physical confrontation. But that doesn't mean customers should have to sit there and tolerate being disrespected. I expect professionalism from businesses, and I expect employees to know how to de-escalate a situation rather than contribute to it. Battle House needs to seriously train its employees on customer service, conflict resolution, and enforcing its own rules fairly. Being a regular customer apparently means absolutely nothing when the staff is willing to treat you like this. Extremely disappointing. I will not be recommending this place to anyone. My instagram is @ilyyuvraj my email is patelyuvraj424@gmail.com hope someone from management reaches out we can talk about this further.
