Dr Jefferies was opened during COVID-19 and taking all the necessary precautions to keep the office safe for all patients. I originally booked my appointment online via ZocDoc. Within a few minutes my appointment was confirmed. Now just keep in mind a "M.D." after a person's name makes a big difference and saves time and headache... not to mention level of professionalism displayed. I'm a straight to the point type person, especially when it comes to my vision, so having a Dr that is straightforward, knows their stuff and not trying to joke and laugh because they need to divert was much appreciated. When you first go into the office you are greeted by Ms Susan. One of the sweetest and nicest people you will meet. She makes you feel very comfortable and explains your insurance coverage and any payment info to you. You do not wait long to be seen, maybe 10minutes max i waited my first visit, but thats because there was 1 other person ahead of me. Didn't even wait 5 min day of surgery to be seen. Once seen he did a thorough eye exam and let me know that I had to have a minor eye surgery due to a chalazion. That was no problem... Ms Susan was able to schedule my appointment the very next day and the surgery went well. Dr Jefferies will over communicate with you during the entire procedure start to finish to make you feel comfortable and i really appreciated that because I was super nervous to the point I started feeling nauseous. 30mins later I was done.... eye corrected and on my way home. NOT PROFESSIONAL. I called and asked if this Dr had experience with retina issues. "he's an ophthalmologist". Is he a surgeon? Is he a retina specialist? "He's an ophthalmologist". That's not telling me anything. "He's a dr". That's not telling me anything. "Don't get mad at me"! If this "Dr" hires STUPID or unskilled, inexperienced staff....... what impression does this give as to his quality of care? August 2017- Excellent thorough eye doctor. Very intelligent and knowledgeable! Had an eye infection. Just moved to the area and had never seen an eye doctor in GA. Dr Jefferies is also friendly and explains everything at a level understandable to the patient. My husband and I will definitely be going back! Never long wait times and is very accommodating for emergency appointments! Very very impressed and highly recommend! A+ 5 Star Specialist!!!!! I cannot believe the lack of quality in every aspect . - wrong eye prescription for three of us in the family. Exceptionally poor customer service and lack of any concern to correct the issues . I've been wearing glasses for the last 22 years and believe me that's called experience. I was told "you have to take whatever glasses you get". Complete waste of money and time . I cannot believe this place is still in business in 2018 where there is so much competition . There is no access to the doctor once they've made their money . One generic email I'd on their website and no one responds to emails . Please don't waste your time here . read more

I visited this practice when my regular eye doctor did not have any available appointments for a routine exam. In fact he was the only doctor (I called) with any available appointment on a day when most places are booked solid due to insurance policy renewals. I was not seen by the doctor until an hour after my scheduled appointment. Once I finally got back there the doctor rushed through asking me about my medical history so much so I had to politely ask him to slow down (so I could actually reply). This doctor is impatient, rude, condescending, and absolutely does not pay attention to details. He has lots of certificates and diplomas on his wall, but lacks common courtesy for his patients. Maybe that's why he had unfilled appointments that day. I will stick to my regular ophthalmologist. I have to add something positive. He and the lady at the front were very well dressed. read more

I have been well served by Dr. Bryan and his staff office. I am SO pleased with my experience at Windy Hill Ophthalmology. I called other places, but they decline to make appointments for same day and they don't deal with emergencies unless you are their patient. He really knows how to keep you calm and treat you well throughout the entire process. I called them for an emergency appointment same day because my contact lens got stuck in my right eye. I tried different ways to get out but nothing works. He did an excellent job removing the contact lens. On top of that, I have an eye infection, so he prescribed some antibiotics and scheduled me for a follow up appointment next day. He keeps his business strictly professional no jokes or excessive talking, but he knows what he is doing. read more

Dr. Jeffries was the only doctor out of 10 that I called at 1 a.m.that called me back within 30 minutes AND took my husband in on a Saturday. He did an amazing job getting the metal sliver out of my husbands eye. Keep in mind that we have no insurance and were not patients of his...we are now of course and we look forward to Dr. Jeffries handling all of our families eye care needs.
