Went to happy hour and trivia night recently. Also ordered their margarita and she said she had to wait for the recipe. Drinks were slow coming out which made us feel rushed to get another drink before happy hour ended, we timed our arrival to be able to get two rounds. It took at least twenty minutes for us to get the margarita which was not worth the wait. We asked for tajin on the rim and one of the guys said they couldn't do it for whatever reason so he brought us a plate with tajin. What were we suppose to do with that? I guess sprinkle it in the drink itself. Margarita glass did end up being dressed with tajin. We then ordered two more drinks before happy hour ended and she got confused making the wrong drink. When we told her she said we could keep the drink, she would comp it and make the correct one. By this time happy hour was over. At the end of the night we got the bill. She charged us for the incorrect drink which she said she would comp rather than charging for the drink we ordered which was $5 less than the incorrect one she made. On top of that she didn't apply the $2 discount for happy hour to our last two drinks we ordered during happy hour. I guess because by the time we told her it was the wrong drink happy hour was over. She said she would refund and correct the bill but when we got the "corrected" bill the happy hour discount still wasn't applied so I took it out of the tip. The food was decent. Trivia and drinks were fair. The men's bathroom was out of order but there was no sign and nobody informed us. My boyfriend and another man were waiting in line thinking someone was just taking long until someone happened to go over, informed them it was out of order and to use the women's. It's a cute spot, I'd been there a couple of years ago and don't remember having so many issues. I like to support small business but people clearly did not know what they were doing here. Pretty disappointing because I wanted to check out their singo but after that experience I'm pretty sure we won't be returning.

After a fun weekend in San Antonio, we had a 4 hour wait for our flight. It seems that terminal has…read morea much better quality of restaurants to choose from. So in classic fashion we leaned on our fellow Yelpers reviews and found this gem. It looked so good that we walked out of the next terminal and back through the security check just to give this a shot. Wow we hit a home run! Got here just in time to get the last table available. There aren't a lot of tables so be prepared. Even though it's an airport this little wine shop really takes you away. Our server was awesome and very attentive. Now one confusing note is their menus seem to change a lot. So the menus we saw on Yelp were outdated. Be prepared to make a change if you look at the menu ahead of time. On this night there wasn't much food available. So we chose the Butchers Board and we each had a flight of tastings. The wine was really good. So good that we will buy some from a local wine store. Loved the butchers board too! Just enough of an appetizer but didn't hit that dinner spot we were looking for. Overall, a great refuge from a crazy travel day.

I had hoped for a sandwich, the only options I were given were a cheese plate or a charcuterie at $25. When it came out, the charcuterie was in two plastic Tupperware tubs with plastic silverware as if to go. I asked "what is this?" and she said, "we have no dishwasher so we have no dishes." Go for the wine while you still can, if you're hungry go elsewhere.

I visited this highly rated wine tasting room when I was visiting Boerne for the weekend. I was…read morethe first to arrive around 130pm, but about 4 other couples walked in not 10 mins after me. It was a fairly hot day for the end of winter, so I chose to sit inside. They have a handful of high top tables and about 17 different wines on the tasting menu. The prices for the bottles range from $24 - $165. One interesting note, the grapes are currently grown in Lubbock due to the water shortage in this area, but they have some vines that are being replanted on this property so maybe in a few years they will be ready. They do have some snacks to try/purchase in the cold case, and more dry snacks that aren't refrigerated on the other side of the room. Since we hadn't eaten lunch yet, we grabbed a meat and cheese from the refrigerated case for $10 Restrooms are in a side building adjacent to the tasting room building. I tried the El Jardin, Albarino, Cinsaut, Sangiovese, Mourvedre, and Cabernet Franc. We also sampled a 1/2 pour of the Nectar du Terroir which is a fortified dessert wine instilled with brandy. I liked it but just be warned that it is strong at 17%. El Jardin - light white wine easy to drink; would go well with seafood Cinsaut - sort of like a pinot noir but slightly bitter Sangiovese - fruity similar to cinsaut but not as bitter Mourvedre - tasted similar to cinsaut but slightly better Cabernet franc - the best of the bunch, pretty smooth Overall, we enjoyed our experience here but are not huge wine drinkers and didn't really find one we were in love with. We didn't end up taking home any bottles but will always enjoy the memories. One note, their wine is reportedly not sold at liquor stores, but it is sent to select wine bars throughout Texas, so you may find it in your town; otherwise, the only other ways to get it is through their website, or by visiting the tasting room just outside of Boerne. They do not have a tasting room in Lubbock where the grapes are grown.

It turned out it used to be Lara's vineyard and I have been to it before. Now it seems expended and the place is full! So many visitors and even internationals! I was so happy to be there! They are all hard working.. if it wasn't him it was somebody else passing by offering services They have music outside. This place is so alive I didn't want to leave! The food is super good! From the pizza to the salad... everything fresh! The only downside is if you do not drink wine they do not have beer or any other alcohol. Regardless of that it was a memorable experience! Something about the pictures I seen made me interested in going and the Italian food . What an amazing experience food was amazing as I ordered the meatballs Caprese salad and the margarita pizza . The atmosphere was quaint, comfortable, and refreshing to sit on the patio that felt like I was sitting in the middle of a vineyard I purchased three bottles of the Zin pom wine can't wait to share with my friends. The most exciting part was to find out that the owners Sandra and her husband were from the bay area where I'm from and we're so nice and familiar to us and made us feel At home . She even offered next time to let her know if I was coming, she would show me around her vineyard . If I lived closer, I would definitely become a member as I hope to purchase more of this wine when I get back home
