    Brahmas wine club party
    marian r.

Another great time at the winery. If you can you need to join the wine club . My friend and I joined the Brahma level. For the pickup party (when you pick up your case of wine ) we had a 3 course catered event by My Sweet Basil- oh so delicious! Each dish paired with a very generous pour of wine. We started out with a nicely chilled white sparkling wine just perfect for this very hot day, followed by alternating red and white , Chenin Blanc for a total of 4 tastings. I always look forward to these parties and meeting other wine lovers.

Dogs ARE allowed, I asked even though a prior review related they weren't. Just based on this, and the just wonderful ambiance, we will be back. This property is beautiful and close to New Braunfels. We came here to see the band "Acoustics". Without that we may have never stopped. We will return!

I want to give them 5 stars but the weather was terribly hot! However the setup is cute and nice with better fans or cooler air somehow. We got the flight (5 wines) and all tasted great! Enjoyed our afternoon at our first winery in Texas. Midway thru, definitely had to move inside as the heat became intolerable. Felt bad for the musician who was setting up as we really wanted to hang outside. The food truck was surprisingly good (Giza - mediterranean food). Lastly, clean bathroom and plenty of space to park. We'll come back and try out their other wines as the weather cools off more!

Ask the Community - Dry Comal Creek Vineyards

    If outdoors, are dogs allowed?

YES! I was there yesterday (Oct 4, 2024) and there were two dogs inside the covered patio, and one under the trees outside. We have a dog, so I asked the mgr, and she confirmed dogs are WELCOME.

What are the prices for a wedding venue?

I don't know but call them.

It turned out it used to be Lara's vineyard and I have been to it before. Now it seems expended and the place is full! So many visitors and even internationals! I was so happy to be there! Our server was amazing! I asked for his name and I forgot. Now that it is World Cup season he was wearing a Colombian tshirt but he is Mexican. So friendly and on point! They are all hard working.. if it wasn't him it was somebody else passing by offering services They have music outside. This place is so alive I didn't want to leave! The food is super good! From the pizza to the salad... everything fresh! The only downside is if you do not drink wine they do not have beer or any other alcohol. Regardless of that it was a memorable experience! Highly recommend

Something about the pictures I seen made me interested in going and the Italian food . What an amazing experience food was amazing as I ordered the meatballs Caprese salad and the margarita pizza . Food was fresh and delicious and waiters were super friendly . The atmosphere was quaint, comfortable, and refreshing to sit on the patio that felt like I was sitting in the middle of a vineyard I purchased three bottles of the Zin pom wine can't wait to share with my friends. The most exciting part was to find out that the owners Sandra and her husband were from the bay area where I'm from and we're so nice and familiar to us and made us feel At home . She even offered next time to let her know if I was coming, she would show me around her vineyard . If I lived closer, I would definitely become a member as I hope to purchase more of this wine when I get back home

They used to have a great sommelier who was fun , knew his stuff and always engaging - now I almost feel like I am bothering them by dining. To be fair, it's skeleton staff which worked as we were there at lunch but as the Pearl was crowded - no clue how they would cope with a large crowd as even we came close to leaving and going somewhere else twice : One when we were handed a paired down menu - my husband has always loved their beer list as they have some rare finds and at first it appeared that was gone - but they do have a full menu and he found some good picks! And second when we almost gave up on the next round! That said is a beautiful space with so many great wines - I enjoyed their bubbles flight ( it's not on the menu but they do offer to curate flights based on your likes) , my husband found some stellar beers and we enjoyed a cheese / charcuterie plate and flatbread! Will still always love coming here and recommend it but it's not as fun or inviting as it used to be !

A reviewer mentioned that being here gives the feeling of hanging in someone's wine cellar which is the impression I got as I set foot in here. With the word wine being the in name of the establishment, you will find an extensive selection of wines available by glass and bottle and categorized by white types and red types. Being a Zinfandel guy, the bartender turned me to the Girard "Old Vine" Zinfandel. This is a pricy wine at $25/glass. I enjoyed the hell out of it as it's one of the better Zinfandel's I've ever had. Definitely steep at $25. I probably should've gone with the wine flight which is what my friend did before he switched to a Malbec. I forgot which one he did but the flights are all prearranged to compliment one another. It makes for a nice experience if you're not sure what wine you want to zero in on. As for food, we paired our wine with a charcuterie board. It's a standard board with some baguette slices and a mix of cheeses and meats with a candied jalapeno spread. A very nice compliment to wine. They have happy hour, wine of the month, and a wine/dine theme for every month where they pair wines with a themed menu. Plus sangria is available as well. Also there is wine tasting every Wednesday so the place gets packed from what I heard. But I'd certainly be open to attending one. Can't wait to come back here!
