Avoid this place like the plague. I used to come here all the time as they had the brand Surfside, which is one of my wife's favorite drinks. I came in today, 9/2 , around 11 AM after shopping at Stater Bros and after looking through the whole store, saw they did not have the Surfside drink in stock. I saw the worker was helping a customer behind the counter, so I abandoned mission and left. About halfway across the parking lot, the insane employee from behind the counter ran at me screaming and confronted me and immediately tried to take my 12 pack of Celsius that I bought at Stater Bros next door and accused me of stealing from him. You should have seen the look on his face when I produced the receipt and told him that just because I entered his store, doesn't mean I'm obligated to buy something. He as quietly as possible muttered "sorry" and walked back into the store as I shouted "I'll never be back!". I thought the selection was incredible here and the location super convenient. But I will never return and I will urge my friends to avoid this location as well. I will instead go to Bourbon Street across the lot, or just drive to BevMo in the future. I apologize on behalf of the community if you have been the victim of theft in the past, but this is about the WORST way to address the problem. read more

With Liquorama closed on Sunday night, I dropped into Wine and Liquor Cabinet to stock up before the season finale of Game of Thrones. I was expecting to grab just a generic 6-pack but found that this place has a huge and well chosen craft beer selection. Belching Beaver, King Harbor, Dudes, Ninkasi...the list goes on and on (alas no 3-eyed Raven from Ommegang). I opted for Belching Beavers Peanut Butter milk stout and Modern Times Mega BlackHouse. I was a little shocked at the price; $27 for just these two 22 oz bottles, so be careful what you choose and check on the prices. Parking: Large parking lot. Wine & Liquor Cabinet has a great selection of guess what? WINE & LIQUOR. Who would have thought? Anyway, they have a decent amount of shelf space reserved for craft beers as well (which is what I stopped in for). Lots of stuff from Stone, Saint Archer and Wydmer, Knee Deep Brewing, Clown Shoes and Coronado. I didn't find much of an "out of state" selection (still searching for that New Belgium Salted Belgium Chocolate Stout). They do have a solid Macro-Brewed selection as well. 12 packs of Coors, Miller, Budweiser (along with those Macro-Brewed "Craft" beers...ahem...Blue Moon). Being that Stater Brothers is right next door, I think it is a wise decision to go with more Craft beers here than with Macro-Beers. From now on, every time I stop by the grocery store for food, I'll stop by Wine & Liquor Cabinet for something nice to enjoy with dinner! read more

If you were teaching a Business School class, and wanted to demonstrate how not to sell, this might be the example. I came in wanting to buy a special occasion, high-end Scotch as a gift and the guy behind the counter could not have been less helpful. No people skills, no communication skills, not friendly. I found the Scotch I wanted myself, then he told me they did not sell another liquor which I had to find, myself. But the seal was broken. What I like most about this is how convenient is it. If i just want to buy alcohol, snacks and if I'm feeling lucky some lotto tickets, the last thing i want to do wait in line at stater bros behind some octogenarian and her checkbook. Nothing against octogenarians and their checkbooks really, it's me and my lack of patience. Anyways, this place has a great selection, the prices are decent and i can do a quick in and out without getting distracted by non-alcohol non-essentials and having to wait for people doing their shopping for the week. Win-win. The only thing that could make this better is a drive through or delivery service. Hint hint!! :) read more

Really great selection of craft beer and liquor. Store is very nice and great customer service. Lots of cigars wines and champagne even. The employees know everyone and are super helpful. Only down side is pricing on items is hard to find and everything is at a premium price. read more

Great place to find a pretty decent selection. It's a great liquor store close to home if you can't make it out to bevmo. They have a refrigerated section in the back for all of the wine connoisseurs, which is nice. Price-wise, about average. This place is a great spot to pick up so good brews and wine. I hop in at least once a week for my alcohol needs and the dude at the counter always shows me the new beers they get in. I often ask if he can get random brews and he always is nice enough to call his guy to see if they could order them. They do price their stuff a bit higher than some other places I've gone to which is the only reason I gave them four stars. read more
