Horrible service. Unprofessional, Bait and switch. Ordered a Vodka and sent a liquor. Called to inform company not even close to substitute and was a cheap product. Wanted me to accept anyway with 10% discount. Said product I ordered was out of stock yet online they still have listed. Had to argue for return shipping label and demanded FULL refund. Returned incorrect product and have FedEx confirmation they received. Have email from Purtha from this company that a FULL REFUND would be given and still has not. I have disputed with my credit card. Tried to call company and auto outs on hold. BUYER BEWARE. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM. Read the reviews on here and other sites. They are very deceptive. I ordered 4 bottles of liquor. The website showed the picture of the exact tequila I wanted. They substituted without my approval. I do not like what they sent me. I entered a dispute with my credit card company. Credit card company issued a temporary credit. Wine Chateau sent me a return label for the wrong tequila and said they would issued a credit upon receipt of liquor. In good faith, I told credit card it was resolved. My credit card company then put the charge back on my account. I have yet to receive my refund the two bottles returned ($143.88) after supplying them multiples times the proof they received the liquor and dates of the charges. I ordered a Don Julio 1942 3 days ago to have delivered for my friend's birthday this Friday. After 3 phone calls and 2 emails I finally hear from them stating the warehouse had an issue with the FedEx system and that my friend's gift will now be delivered sometime next week....well past his birthday. At every point, I have repeatedly requested the Tracking INformation and at this point, they still have not provided it to me. Arrived safe & sound half way across the country. A lovely way to get yummy wines when you live rurally & have limited local options.

I've been here twice and the employees are incredibly snobby and rude. They act like your in the way or bothering them. Today I stopped by and wanted to sample some new wines and beers. I grabbed a individual can from the beer fridge (literally set up as single cans), a bottle of wine, and a single canned wine I found on the shelf. When I went up to pay they acted like I took the beer out of a box and the canned wine out of a box... I'm not in charge of your inventory and knowing how to ring it up. If you don't want people buying single cans don't have them out? And the beer was literally set up like that intentionally. I'm pretty sure they overcharged me for both because they couldn't figure out how to look it up. I literally could have just put it back on the shelf. Not worth the attitude, there's plenty of places to buy wine in the area. read more

I pleace 2 orders online recently. They were not able to provide accurate or timely order updates or tracking on either order. On the first order, they sent a different vintage than I orderred. On the 2nd one, after 3+ weeks of being told that the order had been fulfilled, shipping soon, shipped, arriving next week, etc, all with no tracking information. I contact them and they said the item was not in stock. I called them before placing the order and they said it was in stock. They did provide credits on the orders in question, but major hassle, misleading, and non-existent customer service. read more

I was disappointed how long it took for it to be shipped and the communication. I was going to call but there was no number to call.

Awful company to deal with. Slow, nonresponsive and sent the wrong product. I ordered 5 bottles of a particular seasonal wine (identified by a special color label) based on seeing its exact picture on the website. The website said it was in stock. Days went by with no shipment notification. How do you spell to ask about the shipping date. I got a canned response back with zero useful information. I contacted them again. This time I also asked them to confirm that the wine was exactly what I wanted (as indicated by the special color label). No response to my query. But the sent me a survey asking how satisfied I was with the prior useless reply. Contacted them yet again. Got another useless canned response. After 10 days (!), I got another canned email saying my order was in the "final stages" of preparation for shipment. Still no specific shipping date. And no confirmation that it was the right bottling. Finally, after two weeks, my order arrived. It was the wrong bottling. I will never use this company again. I have the worst customer service I can remember of any company I've dealt with in a long time. read more
