Texts of me telling this woman I needed to wait

These people stole money from me. I never attended one day of this program. I was interested, but knew I needed to get more for before engaging in CrossFit. I told Beth that I wanted to hike and go to Pilates for a few months. During that time this company charged me numerous times for a program that I never attended. Then after I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint she comes back with it was her fault. Offering me no money back but two months of training. How is that free? You've already charged me for three months of training plus some fee. I'm guilty of not meticulously combing my bank statements, which has changed since this happened to me. Don't trust these people with your financial information. They literally stole almost $800 from me. It's a pity I really wanted to train there when I was ready, but they've shown me they have absolutely no respect for their customers.

Best training I have ever received! My mobility and strength has increase each class, trainers are the absolute best. They take their time to know you and are so welcoming. Facility is clean and sanitized. Easy to follow instructions, easy to enroll in classes through the Pike 13 app. All of the trainers are amazing. So glad I found this place.

This is by far the best crossfit box in Napa. I have been a member at WCCF for almost 5 years now. Since joining I haven't looked backed. From the first day I started until now I've always been encouraged and supported by my fellow athletes and coaches. The coaches are all incredible: JC, Jose, Richie, Beth and Kris. They've helped me in different ways. Thanks to their knowledge and encouragement I've improved my technique and weight on Olympic lifts. The WOD's are always challenging and when you think like you just might not make it through the work out everyone in your class is there to cheer you on and somehow the next day you're back for more. It's an incredible community and I'm lucky to be a part of such an awesome box! If you're in Napa and looking for a box that can offer a great workout with a group of fun, strong and motivating athletes WCCF is the box to be at.

Best Box to Drop In! May 2021

My second time dropping in all the way from Louisiana! Pics are from 2021 and 2016. Felt totally at home each time. Great Staff. Got to have a good chat with Beth, the owner. Definitely plan to stop back in whenever I'm in NAPA. Show WCCF some love!

We joined post pandemic shut down, so there are a lot of extra machines because they had to close a few clubs last year. Because of only outdoor workouts for part of 2020, they use these extra machines outside. They happen to be staged around the pool. Regardless of all the extra equipment on the deck, it is really inviting! Most of the chairs and tables are put up because the machines are there, but for some reason I feel like it is still a place you could hang out. The furniture that is there is comfortable. Most people that come to the gym want to use the machines and the weights. The pool is not necessarily booked to where you feel crowded. Reservations are required still, but it's not difficult to make a reservation. We have worked out during the day and at night. It's really lovely at sunset. Have not used the indoor pool. We joke and say we are going to "the club" because after our swim, sometimes we take a dip in the hot tub, the steam room or the sauna. But to top it all off we always grab a massage chair. Staff is friendly, very clean, open and airy, new. All in all, I love going there.

I was told not to worry & to return when I could. There is a difference between being technically right & doing what is right. I stand by my review. UPDATE & Response to Business Comment: I am genuinely sorry that my medical recovery seems to have been an inconvenience for this business. When someone is recovering from two major surgeries, it is entirely reasonable to rely on the reassurance given by staff. In my case, "don't worry, just come back when you can." Expecting a patient in that situation to independently review contract fine print, especially when no one ever requested documentation or explained the process, is unrealistic and shows a lack of compassion. Their response reinforces my concern that the priority here was not supporting a customer facing medical hardship, but rigidly defending a policy at the expense of basic human decency. Stretch Zone's response actually confirms the concerns I raised. At no point did anyone ever request medical documentation from me. Instead, I was explicitly told not to worry and to return when I was medically able. It is unreasonable to expect a patient recovering from two major surgeries to comb through contract fine print when the business itself assures them that the medical exception applies. Their statement that I "never submitted documentation" leaves out the fact that they never asked for any. A medical exception cannot be "formally requested" if the business fails to inform the customer of the process or the need for documentation. I communicated my medical situation in advance, attempted to stop by the studio multiple times during business hours (no one was there), and relied on the guidance I was given by their own staff. Their response also makes it clear that they are more committed to rigidly defending their position than to doing what is fair or compassionate. When a customer is dealing with significant medical circumstances, a business that truly values people would show flexibility, especially when the law requires it. Instead, Stretch Zone chose to focus on technicalities and timelines rather than acknowledging their own role in the breakdown of communication. In short, their reply proves my point: the priority here was not customer care, but protecting revenue. That is not the kind of business I can recommend. ORIGINAL REVIEW: ZERO stars. Avoid this business at all costs. Dallas was the only positive part of my experience. He was consistently kind and professional, and none of my criticism is directed at him. Unfortunately, the management and business practices behind StretchZone tell a very different story. I had two major surgeries and was physically unable to use my remaining sessions. I notified their staff in advance and was explicitly told not to worry and to return when I could. Their own contract clearly states that medical situations qualify for an exception to the 90 day expiration. Despite this, StretchZone refused to honor the medical exception written directly into their agreement. They never requested medical documentation at any point, yet later claimed it was required. Had they asked, I would have provided it immediately. Instead, they chose to interpret their policy in the most rigid and self serving way possible. What was most concerning was the tone of their final response, which ended with: "We consider this matter closed and will not be engaging in further correspondence regarding this request." For a customer in my situation, this abrupt dismissal was extremely unprofessional and showed a complete lack of basic customer service, empathy, or willingness to resolve a legitimate concern. California's Health Studio Services Contract Law exists specifically to protect consumers in situations like mine. Under Civil Code §§ 1812.80-1812.98, customers who become medically unable to use services are entitled to cancel and receive a refund for unused portions once a physician verifies the disability. I was temporarily disabled and unable to use the sessions through no fault of my own. StretchZone knew this and still refused to make any adjustment to my membership timeline or offer a refund. This experience made it clear that once they have your money, they enforce policies selectively, ignore the spirit of their own contract, disregard consumer protections, and shut down communication rather than working with customers in good faith. They chose to be "right" on paper instead of doing what was right in practice. I strongly warn anyone considering this business to think twice. What appears to be a friendly wellness service on the surface is, in my experience, backed by rigid, questionable, and unfair business practices. Bottom line: I gave them the opportunity to do the right thing, and they chose not to. StretchZone - do better.

Every session was dynamic. In the past 5 months that we've trained together, we have never duplicated a single workout! She keeps it fun, interesting and motivating. I'm always excited (and nervous) to see what she has in store for me each session. Christina has impacted my life and for that I'm very appreciative. Having suffered sports related injuries in the past, as well as two C sections, there were times where I was uncomfortable with certain exercises. Her background in Corrective exercise and collaboration with physical therapists served well in adapting workouts so I could maximize movements in the safest possible way. But it doesn't stop there. I've worked with trainers in the past and although they gave me a good workout & some basic education, they never left me with the confidence that I could eventually do all those things on my own Christina not only encouraged me through frequent check ins and holding me accountable on our "off days" but also by being the example. She practices what she preaches including stretching, diet & self care (all things I struggle with). What has left the deepest impression is that she believed in me more than I did myself. When I came in for a workout not feeling like being there, she worked me extra hard. When she showed me an exercise and I said "There's no way I can do that!" She proved me wrong. Once I arrived after watching an episode of "Hard Knocks" and I was describing a crazy workout they did on a balance ball & she said You can do it!! (....be careful what you share! ) But you know what I DID DO IT....i would've never attempted if she didn't believe in me and give me that push. Her no nonsense approach pushes you past your limits and gets you the most out of your workouts but she balances it with deep desire to see you succeed, not only in her gym, but in life! As someone who has never been sporty or fit, they made getting into shape accessible, fun, and now an important part of my routine. The coaches are all friendly and fun, and you can sense both the real care and technical expertise they put into the programming. It's welcoming and never intimidating. They take time to understand you, your goals, and starting point - every session is personalized to you, and they are constantly asking how your body is feeling and adapt to any injuries, aches and pains. Each session also focuses not just on resistance training, but on warm up, stretching, and all the accessory work to build a strong foundation. Exercises are explained in detail, including why they're in your program. You never move too fast for what your body is capable of, but over time see incredible progress. I've been amazed by how far I've come in just a year, and for the first time in my life have some visible muscle, some decent strength, and no longer struggle with lower back pain. More than that, it's made fitness a part of my identity and routines that will stay with me. I now have the confidence to do more training on my own and explore other activities. Through the year I've had multiple coaches - and depending on scheduling you might see different people across a week/month, usually with one main coach who you see the most. But because of the system and training at NTF, they can all pick right up where you left off with detailed notes and programming. I want to give a huge shoutout to the coaches I've trained with the most, including Sarah, Ryan, Alec, and Paul. It's certainly a premium offering and comes with the price tag to match, but I'm incredibly happy with the investment I've made in myself.
