I will also say I think they did a fun great job with my pup. Most places wanna charge you over $100 luckily this place was under 100 and it included the wash as well as a nail trim and she didn't look horrible after . I am glad they were able to take me in the lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. I will definitely be going back here for Haircut for my pup.

My fox red lab is extremely nervous around people. She usually barks, cowers, and takes a long time to warm up. Cathy generously offered for me to bring her in just to spend time in the space with her, her husband, and their dogs, purely to help her feel more comfortable. The moment we arrived, I could tell this place was special. The space is beautiful and clearly designed with dogs in mind, and Cathy herself is just lovely. Almost immediately, my nervous pup, who usually barks at everyone, was calmly approaching her, sniffing her hand, and even taking treats without making a sound. I was honestly amazed. I left feeling completely at ease, knowing both of my dogs were in the best possible hands. Cathy kept me updated throughout the entire visit, not only about my black lab's groom, but also about my other pup who wasn't even there for a groom. She simply took the time to help her build comfort and trust for future visits, which is something you just don't see often. When I came back, my black lab looked perfect, and both dogs were happy, relaxed, and honestly didn't want to leave. That says everything. People like Cathy are truly special. This was the first time I have ever had my dog groomed. I have a Border Collie/Australian Shep mix who got sprayed by a skunk. So as you can imagine, that spray was trapped in her long fluffy coat. I called around noon that same day, and they worked really hard to squeeze me in that same day, but I ended up scheduling an appointment for the following day. Katie was our groomer and came right to our house. She was about 20 minutes early, which was great! Most at-home services end up running late, but she was on top of it! I live in Penngrove and they are based in Santa Rosa, and there was no extra charges for traveling (Awesome!) By the end of the appointment, she had my dog smelling so clean, there's not even the slightest remnants of skunk odor left in my dogs coat. It only took about 20-25 minutes total. VERY happy with how everything worked out!! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I will be using this company for any dog grooming needs that may arise and I would recommend them to anyone else! Thank you Katie with Wine Country Grooming! read more

Wine Country Grooming is the top of the line. So professional, always on time, they return your calls immediately ... and best of all, groomers who not only love dogs but do the most perfect job you can imagine. So impressed, every time. We use Katy for our 95 pound German Shepherd, Bria, and she makes her look absolutely beautiful. She pays careful attention to the details (claw clipping, ear cleaning, etc.) and any special requests. Katy also soaked her in our vet's allergy shampoo for the required ten minutes and then shampooed her again in their own sweet-smelling wash ... her own idea to add the extra shampoo, though it took more time. That's someone who cares. Bria comes out looking gorgeous and loves Katy so much she almost wants to go home with her! What could be better? TEN stars for Katy and WCG! read more

My husband and I are so happy with Wine Country Grooming. Having used the company for several years our golden Jasper is as beautiful as can be and his self esteem always seems to increase after his appointment. I must comment on his favorite groomer Alicia-she is an absolute wonder. He was feeling grumpy yesterday and didn't want to go out to the van, so Alicia was on the floor-hugging and kissing him-playing like a puppy and giving him love. I absolutely love Wine Country Grooming. My little dog is very nervous about being away from his pack. Our grooming experiences in the past with other companies were a source of great anxiety for my pup and we both dreaded his appointments. Having the groomers come to us has made it so much better. What wonderful service my boy Buddy, received! Jessica was so great to work with and Buddy really liked her. We discussed what he needed to have done and she not only got his cut perfect, as I had hoped; she even stayed around for a few minutes to let him walk around and make sure he looked good! Our dogs have been groomed by Wine Country Groomers for several years now and we love it. It is very convenient as they come to your house with their fully self contained van and all that they need is your animal. The grooming is great and our dogs don't get stressed about going to a groomers. The dogs are always happy to see them and are very happy when they are done as they always come out with a treat. We have been using Wine Country Grooming for several years, and could not be more pleased. Jessica took such good care of our older dog recently it nearly brought us to tears. He is very sick and did not want to be handled or touched, but needed a bath desperately as well as nails clipped, etc. She was efficient, gentle and loving to him. The place is down a long, jacked-up country road that will wreck your car if you're not careful. There is usually law enforcement there doing something with their animals, which makes me not very comfortable at all. We got out 6 y/o pandemic dog in 2020 and quickly learned that he was very negative towards bathing, among other things. We were desperate to find a good groomer that would be calm with him and get him the care he needs. We asked our vets at the time they suggested this young lady because she used to work at one of their other locations and had training. Cole was about 11 lbs back then, a chihuahua and Italian greyhound mix so he's fast and moody. But she (I forgot her name as of writing this, she was the only one and sole owner, Miranda?) The first 2 times, I believe, were fine. Then I noticed there was some bleeding on the nailbed portion of one of his claws on his back leg. He was only getting his claws grinded at that time so his nailbed bleeding was confusing to me. He favored it for a day or two because it looked like it hurt... I saw it when we got home from his appointment and texted her and asked (not in an angry way either) if she knew what had happened to his foot and got no response. Usually, she would invoice me by sending a link to pay afterward but this time she didn't.... She never responded, never sent an invoice, so I didn't pay for his last bath and didn't answer an email I sent a couple of months where I reached out to see if all was OK since I saw new reviews here. So, yeah....maybe she didn't like me, my dog, or maybe the people who own the place it's located told her not to have me back on the property...at least these are the things I think when I have no answers to go from. Luck to you if you go here. I and my black dog no longer do though!
