KICKED OUT OVER TWO BITES OF CHEX MIX-We've been coming for 6+ years. It was a tradition. The last 2 years there have been countless issues and we brushed them off. We've defended this place. When this year someone said the local wineries said customers complain-we even said we've had a good time. Until today-I forgot the no food rule at the pool (mind you after eating my lunch outside the pool I just spaced and had 2 bites of Chex mix) and the Male Manager came out and scolded me. In front of my 6yr old. We pay to rent a tent site, day camp, bike around, use playground etc. but he got so mad and asked me "if I had trouble reading rules" and then proceeded to "ask us to leave the premise" because we were not overnight camping. I want to be clear-day prior-5 people at this same pool were using it, as visitors. Never paid $0. Friends of people LIVING there or visiting. They are not paying a dime and were at the same pool. Eating. Talking, playing. Because he was off shift nothing happened. But because I ate TWO bites in his presence, I was asked to leave in front of my child with a rude tone. They said others want to use the pool and ask to pay and they have to decline. Based on the open 100+ sites and only angry customers-I doubt that. They should welcome a nice, pool/tent paying customers. Oh-and we offered to put all of our food in our car so my "snacky" self wouldn't munch again. But we were kicked out before. SUPER customer centric Stay here if you know where to eat-at the right times. And are ready to be SCRUTINIZED if not. Buckle up. read more

We have been using this Rv park for over 15 years. If you are planning to book this be prepared to have knee high weeds in your spot. It has declined slowly the last 4 years. They stopped awarding local Club Wine members a discount. The tables need replacing. I did not use the washrooms. Way over priced for these conditions. Yeah close to great winery's and tasting rooms but be prepared it is Not Half as well kept as it once was. read more

Sites are not maintained and weeds over a foot tall in gravel parking. Pool is open till 900 and yet at 430 it is padlocked closed. They don't answer phone or texts.after 400.and we arrived at 4:08. Wanted to use pool and do laundry but you need a key card for bathroom and laundry and they didn't provide us with one (or answer the phone even though I saw someone going back into office. Wifi stinks and it's clearly a long term/seasonal place so long timers probably have their own wifi and have access to things we didn't get to use...like the bathroom, laundry, pool! Did not get what we paid for at all. Calling it a resort is a gross exaggeration. read more

Wine Country RV Park have recently hired new managers. They are fabulous! We stayed over the 4th of July and the grandkids had a wonderful time swimming in the pool. The bathrooms and laundry room were very clean. Granted, there are still some weeds and repairs that need to be done but they haven't been here long enough to bring this place up to their high standards. I was told that they are working quickly to achieve this. Don't give up on them yet! We are looking forward to staying again. read more

Have been coming for about 7 years annually. We found it strange that the office was closed up by early afternoon during the busy season of summer. Maya and I were there two nights, and not saw one person on the staff. When we pulled out on a Friday morning at about 11, it was closed again. The office staff and gift area used to be really great to see and visit with. New ownership has apparently changed a lot of the good things about the park. read more

We stayed for 2 nights in November 2025 for a quick maiden voyage in our new travel trailer. The staff was nice, but it was really hard to get anyone on the phone. The entire park had really gone downhill since we were there for a family reunion a few years ago. The restrooms were filthy... in need of deep cleaning and recaulking, etc.. As for the dog "park", it was overgrown with weeds and had so much poop that we had to clean at least 10 piles before we could let our dogs even remotely enjoy it. Very overpriced for essentially the off season. Again, it's definitely not the RV destination it used to be. read more

This was our first RV park experience and if was very disappointing. All the negative comments are accurate. Bathrooms were less than desirable, one has shower curtain with tears in it. No paper towels to dry hands in most of them and the coin operated showers are ridiculous at this price point. We paid for a deluxe and it was not money well spent. Had it not been for meeting some friendly RVers I would have given it 2 stars. It's such a shame it could be so cute but it's not. read more

After 8 years, this RV Park is still our favorite vacation spot, with fantastically fun event weekends and amazing staff to ensure everything is great! Lovely, we'll kept grounds, clean restrooms (showers give you 5 minutes for a quarter!), store, laundry, wineries within walking distance, helpful and knowledgeable staff, farmers market downtown, etc. It's very reassuring to us, to have such attentive employees, making sure safety rules are followed for everyone's safety. Their caring ensures we *all* have fun while staying safe (except self-induced hangovers, of course!). So we applaud this marvelous group of people working at Wine Country RV for all their vigilance and hard work!! It's no wonder you've earned the 10-10-10 rating for several years, with several more to come, I'm sure! read more

We were assigned a site we could not use, it was the incorrect amperage then was requested. Even if we could use the site, it was blocked by the picnic table and benches as were most of the vacant sites. We were unable to reach anyone for assistance and the majority of the park was vacant, we pulled into a correct plug in as we were only staying one night. We have stayed at this park before and found it to be very nice. This time we found it to be overgrown with weeds and dried uncut grass. The bathrooms had overflowing garbages and dirty floors and the outdoor garbages were also overflowing. Our site we had reserved, was not a premium site but was still $93.00, the showers cost $0.25 per 5 minutes. While not much it's the principal. We have stayed at parks much less expensive with CLEAN free showers. We travel a lot and depend on customer reviews to pick our stays. I try and give grace and consideration to experiences that don't meet my expectations but when you are charged a high price for a low product it's frustrating. I hope the company reads this and does what is appropriate to bring it back up to the standards it used to be. read more

We have been coming here for the last 5 years. We showed up on Thursday because they normally have great wine tasting on Thursdays and Fridays. Sometimes they have Pizza event. When we asked about wine tasting at the front desk and found out it was cancelled and we were told they will have one on Friday. We showed up at 530pm on Friday, it was closed! We double-checked again, still closed. We were dumbfounded. We stayed there for 6 days, we noticed the office closed earlier than it was planned, not followed according to the schedule shown on the door. Also, for those who stayed longer, have weeds underneath their trailer, looks awful to look at it because we had one that was next to our site, ugh. And, he parked his truck onto part of the road. Not that we reported, no manager came out to tell him to park his truck in the extra spot located by the restroom. Our grass was too tall and needed to be mowed badly. And, the whole lot was more than half emptied. We were wondering what the heck happened! After reading comments and I agreed with the negative comments posted recently. That should give the management a hint what they need to improve their service. Not sure if we will come back again. We were pretty bummed that they are going downhill. read more

So very disappointed with the direction this park has gone. I did not feel very welcome or that they were happy we were there spending our weekend at their park. I am happy we did not bring our dogs. $20 per night per dog. Extra people, extra cars more $$$. Booking fee? What the hell? They have changed the reservation policy. And if you pay in advance for your reservation, they will not guarantee a spot you want. You get whatever they decide to give you. Come in a party of friends, they split you up and put you wherever they want you. We came over for Spring Opener at the park. HORRIBLY slow. Not enough reservations. Park is almost empty on a weekend that should be full with a waiting list. This business currently is not an asset to the Prosser community. I will be very hard pressed to come back again. read more

We've stayed here in the past on the way over to the coast but over the few years, the park has really gone down hill. The management seems to be missing or unavailable. This past trip, we called to let them know we were going to be early and it took us 3 days to actually contact someone by phone in spite of their outgoing message claiming otherwise. When we finnaly reached someone we inquired about any up charge and we were told no, no extra charge. We explained we'd be there just after they close at 4PM and they indicated the info pack would be posted on the board. Arrived, no info pack. We had to run around and find someone to give us the info. There was a loud function of some sort at their community center well after 11PM and people were walking through our site. In addition, when we got home and checked, they charged us for a billing fee. We travel a lot and have seen hundreds of parks. It is sad when an otherwise good park is allowed to go down due to poor management. read more

We've been coming here for years. They're now under new ownership, rates have increased, and no discounts for Sam's Club etc. We'll be hard pressed to return. Hearing that the new ownership wants to convert many spaces to full-timer live- ins will drive many of us to other parks Such a shame!!! read more

We booked with Wine Country RV Park who advertised having a pool open 1 May, with on-site wine tasting experience available. Many of the reviews were great until a recent change of ownership, we found out. We were not contacted ahead of time to inform us that the pool wouldn't be available, nor would there be any wine tasting event due to shortage in staffing and failure to get the new pool gate entry procedures completed. These features which drew us to book this particular site were evidently "not a priority for the new owner." Office hours have been reduced as well. Yelp say open until 5pm, their door says 4pm, but they have to close today at 2pm because they're short staffed. We asked for a partial refund due to the lack of advertised amenities but our request was denied. Also, Not sure how common this is, but we were instructed we had to move their picnic table off of the grass for them before the groundskeeper mowed their lawn. That was a first! Very disappointed but we travelled quite a few hours to get here so we're making the best of it. read more

After years of coming back to this cute little RV park, the new ownership has lost my trust and my business. The new ownership changed the rates we had locked in with our group in January without notice. We only found out when we were charged at checkin. After speaking with the park staff and presenting our rates that were guaranteed the rates were honored. The website states that the pool is open May to September, but this is also not true. Sadly this will be my last trip to wine country RV park. read more

Everyone is really nice and accommodating. The grounds are kept clean daily and the laundry room, bathroom, and showers are kept very clean. They also have propane which was cheaper than the truck stop nearby. While we were there they hosted wine tasting two nights and one night they had a pizza truck with the wine tasting. The park is also quiet. The location is perfect for touring wineries and alpaca farms (but you have to make reservation). We went horseback riding and skydiving nearby. And there's a lot of history for you to explore downtown. We enjoyed our 4 night stay very much. read more

These people are incredibly rude. If you have dogs, do not go here. My dog ran outside the trailer for one minute while my husband was picking up her poop and the woman came out yelling at my husband, "put your dog on a leash!". My dog never left the grass area of our area, she's very well trained on boundaries. Despite other reviews, there was terrible customer service at this facility. There is also no shade or trees at the park either, and camp sites are very close together which don't give you much privacy. Our campsite was only about 10 feet away from the trailer next to us. We will never be back. read more

I have been coming to this park for years! They have recently been bought out and have changed the family aspect of this v park. They advertised the pool would be open May 1st but decided it wasn't priority and did not do what was needed to open it without telling anyone who already booked and was expecting it to be open., a little frustrated! We have been coming twice a year for several years to this RV Park and love it. We love the weekend food carts, wine tasting, and cooling off in the pool. While it's parking lot camping, all the travelers are in high-end rigs, are fun to chat with, and we feel safe for both ourselves and our equipment. The new owners are really running this place to the ground. The showers are dirty, They are allowing full-time residents that have trashy looking sites, the pool has been "broken" since January, and there was no wine tasting or food truck. We also saw the presence of police patrolling the park. In the past, the park has always been full. this time, it was about 1/3 full. We visited several tasting rooms and heard lots of disappointment from local businesses regarding the decline of the park and the word getting around about the poor management. even the employees were disgruntled and unfriendly in the office. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Facilities are good. Great place when your are visiting for an event in town. RV spots are wide and long. Be aware their website rate sheet does NOT reflect the prices they are charging. Price sheet also stated taxes were included, not the case. I called their office and was told that the new owners had not updated the price sheet. Was very disappointed they would not honor the advertised prices. We came over to camp for the first time in 2020 for our Birthday weekend. My husband wore a mask to check us in and found 2 employees working, no social distancing, no masks being worn, no cleaning or sterilizing between customers. I asked the manager why this was and they said because they don't have to wear mask and informed me that they had hand sanitizer sitting on the counter. At a minimum, 100 people have checked in to this office, purchased products in the office and signed up to use the pool. Benton county is still in phase 1. read more

had to cancel our reservation 4 weeks out - it was not a last minute cancellation- they charged us $50 to cancel. Seems awfully high - you wouldn't get charged that if you reserved a hotel room and cancelled 4weeks out. Not impressed and they get you as they only state on the reservation paperwork that it is a min of $10 to cancel. Guess they can charge whatever they want then! read more
