100% Perfection in an RV park! This place is incredible! Seriously! Gorgeous grounds! Lots of grass and trees! A beautiful pool and a ton of other amenities! Each site has grass and a picnic table and appears to be level cement. Lots of young trees so not a lot of shade. Some sites are "premium" and all sites have full hook ups. They offer free WiFi but it doesn't work that great. No cable TV. I highly recommend staying here if you need an RV park in the tri-cities area! Don't bother going anywhere else! read more

I stayed for one year and felt totally safe. They keep this resort looking fantastic . They have everything one needs . We were driving back from our summer in Montana, and decided to wing it and not make a reservation, but rather decide to pull over when we were tired. So, this landed us in the Tri Cities area of Kennewick. I did some quick searching as we approached the area, and came upon Columbia Sun RV Resort. The reviews looked good and the location seemed ideal for our journey. I was able to book a site online and pay. Upon pulling in, there was nobody in the office, and our slip wasn't on the late arrival board, but there was a sign that said to just book online and park in the spot if they weren't there, so we proceeded to our site. This place was really nice. HUGE grassy sites with level concrete pads and clean bathrooms. We set up quickly, went and grabbed dinner and then returned to go to bed. The only complaint I have about this place is the road noise. The highway runs parallel to the campground and you can hear it all night. So, light sleepers beware. I did use the shower in one of the family bathrooms the morning before we departed, and it was super clean, but the weird thing was the faucet in the shower. It was one of those push on ones that slowly turn off, one you'd find in a high school bathroom. You had no choice in water temperature, and you had to keep pressing it to keep the water running more than about 2 minutes. I found this odd, but the temperature was decent and I was just doing a quick swish before we hit the road, so it wasn't a big deal. read more

it isn't like it used to be. Little things like hanging baskets that made the grounds look to pretty and the store in the front office are no longer there. Then for the price of a luxury rv resort the amenities had issues too, the pool was closed for the first day of Memorial Weekend and the hot tub never opened. The Wi-Fi also never worked and when you list these as amenities they should be up and going. Then the major complaint was that in our group of 7 sites that we booked together they changed sites for 3 that were no longer by the rest with no warning. We didn't know until we got there and then saw the same thing happen to others when they tried to go to the sites they had booked. It was a hot mess. With all of this the grounds were still kept up nice and if they can get those things ironed out it would be a nice place to stay. read more

My son and I visited this place to see if we might be able to tent camp here. Unfortunately, no, but that doesn't take away from my good experience at this location. We were greeted warmly and upon entering the 'office' one will notice how spacious, bright and welcoming it is. There's a cushioned chair seating area with large television, another seating area with wooden Adirondack chairs to play a large game of wooden checkers From the game table you'll see relaxed persons enjoying the pool on a sunny day. Few items in the fridge for sale, but being that this park is in town and very close to restaurants and grocery stores, yet tucked away, makes it alright. There's 3 (or 4?) different areas to choose from in parking an RV. As we were driving away, we noticed how there's good distance between each RV and NO CLUTTER! Wowza! Well laid out, wide paved interior roads, long paved pull-through RV sites, well landscaped lawns. I'd love to come back and stay here for a week or two, next time we're in the area. read more

Columbia Sun Rv Resort - Site 89 - Campgrounds Near Me - Kennewick, Washington

We've stayed here twice, each time for a few months. Very clean bathrooms and laundry. The internet is terrible, so we bought an RV booster for it. The TV is ok but repeats the shows over and over each day, I guess just is case you missed it. They have several showers, 6 at both ends of the park and some up by the office. There are 3 separate laundry rooms, to which the washers are extremely small. My major complaint about this place is when it's baseball season. They get weekenders coming to play other teams and THEY ARE EXTREMELY NOISY AND THE PARENTS WANT TO PARTY. . They don't get that the full timers that live there, it's their weekend off to sleep in. So you have the weekenders slamming their trailer and truck doors MULTIPLE TIMES at 6:45am and the full timers trying to sleep in on their weekend off. The management should try to separate them so they're both happy. read more

We stayed here on our way through Washington from Idaho to Oregon. I found this place on an app I have and reading reviews and it did not disappoint. It is not a outdoorsy type campground, but boy is Iran upscale one. It is absolutely a well manicured, well maintained park that has ALL the amenities you could ever need. 50 amp, long pull thru gravel and paved sites, water, directv, sewer, grassy area with a picnic table and bathrooms, laundry and gym facilities available. They are pet friendly at no additional fee. Every rig in this place was a large newer vehicle and they were considerate enough to space us all far enough apart instead of piling us on top of each other. We stayed here in a 37' fifth wheel. We definitely would stay here again. It has paved roads and a nice store inside the office. Also a pool and jacuzzi. VERY VERY NICE!!! read more

Very Nice Site - But our group of 5 RV, 4 site were changed at the check-in. Friends that reserved 6 month early to be next to friends were in sites far away. All because a RV site wanted to stay longer and cause the changes. Front Desk personal are teenagers and did not care changing everyone in different spots. Best when you reserve is have note in reservation to not move site, because staying with friends. Also the weekend we stay, said was a ice-cream social, will it was just you having to buy the ice-cream and not a social. (Really!) Internet is unacceptable. Store does not having anything to pickup. read more

Amazing place to stay. We were just there overnight. Wished we could have stayed longer. Everything is immaculate. Everyone was super nice and helpful and they honor Police/fire/military (active and retired). The roads are wide, the lots are gravel but pretty level. The grass...holy cow..how do they keep it so green! They have a table and benches on a concrete slab at the sites. Hook ups are standard (warning..they have 81psi on their water so bring a regulator). There are 6 shower/bathrooms on our side. Probably more on the other. The only thing I didn't like in the showers is that you have to keep pushing the button to keep the water running. The water gets hot and has good pressure (it is free). There is a small gated dog area as well as a huge open off-leash area. We were told that there are many amazing golf courses near by and we did see people leaving with their golf clubs. There are rules like Rob had said but nothing unreasonable. I don't think we broke any . Read their policy on what types of RVs and dogs can stay there. read more

I have stayed at this park on and off since 2014, including a full year full time. The original owners were excellent and extremely helpful. A five star operation-then they sold out. The property is now mediocre and the rates include nickel dime charges such as pet, reservation fees, credit card transaction fees. They advertise a weekly rate ONLY applicable if you stay two weeks. I would not recommend nor will I stay at this park again. read more

Love this campground, so clean and beautifully maintained. Wish the hot tub was open though, not sure why it's closed. None are closed anywhere else we've been even during covid & why have the pool open if it is because of covid? The paved sites are amazing but hard to dump sewer going up hill(not all sites though. The gravel sites are great too and seem pretty level and they have wood separating the gravel from the lawn so you won't get rocks thrown at your rv when the lawn is mowed. Great sunsets and great place to walk a dog or ride a bike! read more

Definitely exceeds Good Sam ratings of 10-10-10! At our arrival we were treated very nicely by staff that answered all our questions - specially what options we had for early or late departures. In addition, we were led to our site by staff in a golf cart. An expected touch I don't see in the crowded ones and tight RV parks ( that really need it.) The roads were paved as well as the sites and our Open Range 349 RLX auto leveler had no problem leveling the jacks. And surprise! The utility hookup area was so nice n decorated it was a pleasure to hook up! Please see the picture. Our site was long - our 38 ft RV and Ram 2500 fit in a line - and wide enough that the water sprinkler , that went on at night, did not reach the truck or RV! Our site, in addition to paved, had a nice patio with benches and nice size table, surrounded with the thickest grass carpet I have seen yet! The pet park was clean, fenced in, and had the supplies needed for cleaning up after your pet. At night, also had sensor lights! read more

New management sucks. Do not answer phones. Rude and inconsiderate. Sites are not level. Only amenities was the pool, which is salt water, yuck. Old management was very good, wonderful store and shop. New management, nothing. You can not even get a roll of toilet paper. Road noise is 24 hours a day. Semi truck staging area that goes off and on all night, not to mention the interstate. The only good thing about this campground and it definitely is no Resort, is the size of the sites. We were extended stay for months and paid the exorbitant rate for the site, even helping out another camper who lost their rig from fire. No thank you nothing from management, no accounting that the money was even delivered to the needy family. No thank you from management, again nothing. We gave notice that we were vacating as required by their rules. They rented out the site, even though we had paid for the site for a whole month which is double dipping. The new manager Debbie, refuses to refund any money to us. Beware if you are a extended stay camper stay away from this place. read more

This is a very nice and clean RV Park. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that a park employee came in his golf cart to reprimand us for playing ball with our 20 pound dog in our site. I understand the need for rules, but stopping to scold us because we are playing catch with our very well behaved dog in our own site is ridiculous. Okay, so let me start off by saying that this is the cleanest park I have EVER been in. Spotless! Ground, restrooms, clubhouse, spotless. It was like i'd wandered onto a Disney property. But, this is a place for people who like rules. They have the rules posted, they give you a handout of the rules, they remind you of the rules and there are people on golf carts to remind you of the rules. And the signs... Goodness, all the signs. There are laminated signs everywhere. Do this, don't do that, can't you read the signs? Did I mention the rules? The rules are posted on signs in places where you might even accidentally break them. Upon arrival the park, I "Checked In" on Yelp. Because that is what you do, right? Yelp offered me a 3 nights for the price of 2 coupon, so I thought "SCORE" and made plans to stay 3 nights instead of the 2 I had planned. Lo and behold, the next morning when I went to the office pay for my 2 nights, they refused to honor the coupon, saying that Yelp must be offering it without the permission of the park, because they didn't know anything about it. They did offer me a slightly better discount than I would have gotten with my Good Sam card anyway, but it was no third night, so I paid for 2 and was on my way the next day. TL;DR Gorgeous, well kept grounds, no trashy rigs that look like they have gone there to die, clean, clean, clean. Rules, rules, rules, signs, signs, signs, didn't honor my Yelp discount coupon. read more

No need to repeat what everyone has said about this lovely park. First time we've ever stayed here and it is hands down, the nicest park we've ever been to. Good Sam gives it a rare 10-10-10 rating. Grassy, spacious sites that offer plenty of privacy. Peaceful and quiet and immaculate. Pets are very welcome: In fact, we were given treat bags for our dog AND our kitties. Never had THAT happen before! It truly can be called a destination park with all its amenities. Great for families and reunions and RV rallies. Plus Kennewick is a nice town right on the mighty Columbia River. I look forward to staying here again on our return trip back home to Tucson. read more

This park used to be premier park but no longer. Definitely not a Resort. Only thing it had going for it is nice wide streets and big sites and a pool. No Wifi office only open anywhere from 10-12 closes at 4. If you don't know how to do an online reservation your in trouble especially if you come in after office closes at 4. It's becoming more of long term residence than overnight guest. Site have 2-3 vehicles parked per site plus some even have cargo trailers in their sites plus 2 cars. Definitely long term people. So look elsewhere save your money not worth $80 per nite read more

We are currently staying at a new RV Resort in Kennewick, WA. It is a beautiful resort with 145 sites covering 25 acres, 87 of which are pull-thrus. Most of the sites are over 70' long with several over 100'. Lots of grass and first class amenities, including private showers and bathrooms at both ends of the park and each having laundry facilities and one a game room and the other an exercise room with first class equipment. A 3000 sq ft event center with multi-mrdia facilities and a warming kitchen. The WiFi is awesome with 100mbs down at the server. Now rated 10/10/10 by Good Sam. Would highly recommend this park to anyone passing through the area. read more

This RV Resort is well worth your stay! Incredible facilities, gigantic sites with lots of green space between neighbors, extra clean bathrooms and showers, adult fitness room, kids play area with basketball and street hockey and a kids game room. It also has a fantastic event center with pool table, big screen tv's, kitchen, and board games. The pool area is large and so is the hot tub! This place is well worth the reasonable price and conveniently located to many wineries and the tri cities area of Washington. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. This place is top notch so organized and helpful. Took care of paperwork quickly and they escorted us to our site. The sites have plenty of room between each other they do have trees in between but are not mature yet this place looks new. The gift shop is Amazing tons of great stuff and lots of rv supplies too they have nice pool area and they have tons of out door games to borrow and play. The price was great and the grounds were so clean and safe. I think it has a gate that closes at night we did not leave our site till next morning but was very quiet and it is located right off freeway but still quiet. We traveled for 20 days and out of all the parks we stayed at in 4 states this was our favorite they do things right. read more

Having been to numerous RV parks in Washington over the past several years, Columbia Sun is by far the cleanest and best appointed park I've come across. The sites are huge by comparison to other parks, and the grass is meticulously maintained. We visited on Memorial Day weekend and although the park was almost full to capacity, it was still a peaceful place to stay. No rowdy groups of drunken partiers or unsupervised children running around the grounds. The rest rooms/showers are kept very clean, which is a big plus. An on site general store keeps gifts, as well as essentials available without having to leave the park. One thing of note: items are NOT priced through the roof to take advantage of the captive audience.....a nice change. The staff is friendly and there were activities for families to take part in. All in all, a great experience. This park is now officially our top pick for Tri-Cities. We've already set up reservations for two return trips this summer!! read more
