We needed an overnight site in Kennewick while passing through. Based on reviews, we stopped at Columbia Sun RV Resort. This place is great. Well laid out, wide paved interior roads, long paved pull-through RV sites, well landscaped lawns. I'd love to come back and stay here for a week or two, next time we're in the area.

We stayed here on our way through Washington from Idaho to Oregon. I found this place on an app I have and reading reviews and it did not disappoint. It is not a outdoorsy type campground, but boy is Iran upscale one. It is absolutely a well manicured, well maintained park that has ALL the amenities you could ever need. 50 amp, long pull thru gravel and paved sites, water, directv, sewer, grassy area with a picnic table and bathrooms, laundry and gym facilities available. They are pet friendly at no additional fee. Every rig in this place was a large newer vehicle and they were considerate enough to space us all far enough apart instead of piling us on top of each other. We stayed here in a 37' fifth wheel. We definitely would stay here again. It has paved roads and a nice store inside the office. Also a pool and jacuzzi. VERY VERY NICE!!!

Amazing place to stay. We were just there overnight. Wished we could have stayed longer. Everything is immaculate. Everyone was super nice and helpful and they honor Police/fire/military (active and retired). The roads are wide, the lots are gravel but pretty level. The grass...holy cow..how do they keep it so green! They have a table and benches on a concrete slab at the sites. Hook ups are standard (warning..they have 81psi on their water so bring a regulator). There are 6 shower/bathrooms on our side. Probably more on the other. The only thing I didn't like in the showers is that you have to keep pushing the button to keep the water running. The water gets hot and has good pressure (it is free). There is a small gated dog area as well as a huge open off-leash area. We were told that there are many amazing golf courses near by and we did see people leaving with their golf clubs. There are rules like Rob had said but nothing unreasonable. I don't think we broke any . Read their policy on what types of RVs and dogs can stay there.

Wow. This park & the staff are all A+!!! Beautiful sites, caring office staff. Friendly volunteers. This should be your stop in the Tri Cities. They are accommodating and thoughtful. Truly s pleasure to stay here. The grass is green & plentiful here.

Love this campground, so clean and beautifully maintained. Wish the hot tub was open though, not sure why it's closed. None are closed anywhere else we've been even during covid & why have the pool open if it is because of covid? The paved sites are amazing but hard to dump sewer going up hill(not all sites though. The gravel sites are great too and seem pretty level and they have wood separating the gravel from the lawn so you won't get rocks thrown at your rv when the lawn is mowed. Great sunsets and great place to walk a dog or ride a bike!

Wonderful, clean RV park. Huge sites with lots of room. Big rig friendly, our deluxe site is 110' Looking forward to coming back to see the store and the rest of the facility. Right now it's closed because of Covid-19.

Definitely exceeds Good Sam ratings of 10-10-10! At our arrival we were treated very nicely by staff that answered all our questions - specially what options we had for early or late departures. In addition, we were led to our site by staff in a golf cart. An expected touch I don't see in the crowded ones and tight RV parks ( that really need it.) The roads were paved as well as the sites and our Open Range 349 RLX auto leveler had no problem leveling the jacks. And surprise! The utility hookup area was so nice n decorated it was a pleasure to hook up! Please see the picture. Our site was long - our 38 ft RV and Ram 2500 fit in a line - and wide enough that the water sprinkler , that went on at night, did not reach the truck or RV! Our site, in addition to paved, had a nice patio with benches and nice size table, surrounded with the thickest grass carpet I have seen yet! The pet park was clean, fenced in, and had the supplies needed for cleaning up after your pet. At night, also had sensor lights!

We have arrived at Columbia Sun RV Resort in Kennewick Wa. Wow! Great facilities.

Very poor wifi. Possible to connect at clubhouse but not at sites. A real disappointment for a nice place like this.

I stayed at Site #6 on August 3/4 (Saturday/Sunday)…read more It's pretty open space and one of the farther site from the next one over. The view of Snake River is beautiful, you will see and hear trains, boats and traffic off Highway 12 all day and night. If you forget your alarm clock, the lawnmower will make sure you're up at 745am on Monday. The sound of the train will also keep you entertained. There's burn ban in the summer, but they allowed propane fire pits. Make sure you know the length of your trailers, the pull through we're spacious, there's a few site that we're very close to each other, but you can see that on the campground map before you book, so some of the reviews here are not true. The campground is very nice compared to some state and forest campgrounds that I've been to. The bathroom and showers were great, a nice plus for a Federal owned campground. Only one bathroom in the campground, the other one is in the day use area. Very Clean, the camp host goes around the grounds often on their utility cart and they are easy to find. The front check in office are staffed the whole day and the ladies were nice and informative. The camp Host were very nice! Very helpful and kept the bathrooms and all areas clean. It's an electric only hookup, there's water spigots nearby. The spiders were active and all over the place, and I think they are this time of the year. You will run into cobwebs. Keep your tents closed, there were mosquitoes, but not as bad as if you're in the forest. Overall this campground is very nice and I definitely would come back here if I need a place to stay for a few nights or months. Traffic, boats and train was noisy cause I was in a tent. Bring your swim suit, there is a swim area. Ice Harbor Dam is nearby and in the summer they have tours of the dam. The town of Pasco is a couple minutes away and they have awesome Mexican food places. Cellphone coverage with Verizon is good, you will be fine if you need to post all those pics you took for your Facebook, OF or your IG

Have you seen arachnophobia? I'm pretty sure it was filmed here. Seriously insane amount of…read morespiders. So many. On the truck, on the trailer, in the kayaks, INSIDE my car. Literally everywhere. You could drive through the park and see everyone else sweeping and spraying everything they own, just like we were, to try to get rid of them. It's pointless, as they are relentless. And they are HUGE. My husband isn't weirded out by spiders and bugs, and he was struggling with them. He is currently pressure washing all of our vehicles that were there this weekend, and we are going to bug bomb inside the trailer as well. It's a shame that they don't do anything to combat the spider issue, because otherwise, it's a nice park, and great proximity for water sports. We definitely won't be returning.

Upon reaching the check in the lady, Karen, said they are giving us a premium spot as we paid and reserved online. However when we reached we had been given a rv spot. When we went back and said that you guys deceived us they said premium means water + electric. We also saw that at the same time a family was given our spot as they came to our reserved spot and started camping. What happened they gave our spot to another family who were probably their friends. We also asked around and regulars their told us that there are only two premium spots. When we reserved online the pictures in the post clearly showed it was under the tree shade but we were offered the spot next to rv under the sun The manager here is even ruder than Karen at the check in as she was called and tried to make us believe that we were given premium spot. We took another spot and had to move our stuff. We even left one day early. In short booking online through KOA was not honored here and we felt scammed/cheated here
