From the start, Chris was very responsive and easy to work with. I'm giving two stars for the pre trip communication. That's was good. Other then that this was was worst driver I've ever had and we do a lot tasting all over the place. The seasoned wine tasting group of ladies that I had with me all agreed Mitch was the worst diver we have ever had. From the beginning when he showed up he was dressed as if he was going fly fishing. He never once opened a car door for any of the 5 ladies we had in the group. Never helped put our wine we bought in the car never even once got out of the car. Never engaged the group with any conversation or insight to the area. Basically he pulled up to each winery we went to dumped us off. And then we had to text him when we were done. Because of that we were late to all our reserved times at the rest of the wineries. Typically a diver will keep you on track. Specifically with this new required reservation system. Over all the companies responsiveness was good. Mitch should find a new job. I've had Uber drivers that were more friendly then him. Update now I am moving to one star if I could give this company zero stars I would. I get in my car this morning to head home from our winetasting weekend and our driver left trash from his snacks and crumbs all over my car it was disgusting that he was eating and crumbling food all inside my brand new car let alone leaving his dirty tissues and wrappers from his snacks. He didn't even have the sense to step out of my vehicle before he ate his snacks. I called the owner of the company to complain and they said the best they could do was refund to be $50 sure that'll cover the cost of a basic car wash. But in my opinionno way compensates for the poor service from our driver Mitch. read more

I've reached out to Chris a month in advance to book a driver. He asked me to let him know as soon as I have plans nailed down. I let him know what the plan is considerably ahead of time. He conveyed that he would contact me a week in advance to get the driver assigned. He absolutely failed to do this. His explanation was that he was planning to do the driving himself, therefore he didn't think there would be a need to contact me a week in advance as he promised. Terribly disappointed in our driver Mitch. Typically when we have used a service like yours the driver is dressed in a suit and tie and presents himself very professionally. Mitch was dressed like he was going fly fishing. Also in past experience the drivers would open our doors, load purchased wine in the car and keep us on a time schedule. None of this happened with Mitch, we missed our appointment completely with one winery and was late to the others. Mitch also left trash in our car and crumbs were found all over the drivers seat the next morning. We asked for a full refund for the service and was offered a small discount. Very poor customer service on your part. Do yourself a favor and terminate Mitch ASAP. read more

He came early to get us and was very kind to wait for us as some of girls were not yet ready when he came to pick us up. What a genius business model. We had the best time wine tasting for my sister's bachelorette weekend! Christopher was our driver. After some contact emails, he showed up promptly and was ready to drive us around in our own car to wine taste in the Santa Ynez area. He knew exactly where to go, he dropped us off right in front, waited while we tasted (however long we wanted) and we would text when we were done and he would pull up the car. We knew where we wanted to taste, but he also recommended a couple places too for when we would be back in the area. We also stopped for lunch at a yummy deli, bought sandwiches and ate lunch at one beautiful winery. Christopher was patient with us as the day went on and I can't thank him enough. The cost for this awesomeness- $35/hr. We paid that and a tip!! A limo or van would cost so much more than that. This is they way to go if you want to go wine tasting! I was referred to Chris from a friend who's family utilized his service. It was so simple, I called him, told him where we would be and what time we wanted to go and that was it. Sally showed up promptly at 11am. She had a map and went over some of the wineries to find out what we were looking for and off we went! It was myself, my mother (in town from out of state), a friend of mine and her Mom. We piled in my friend's SUV and hit the road. Sally possesses a plethera of knowledge about the area and the wineries. She would drop us off at the front, park the car and meet us inside. Sometimes she hung back and you didn't even know she was there then all of a sudden she appeared with the car to cart us off to the next tasting. She would get the car for us when we were ready, called ahead to make reservations at another winery, helped set up our picnic and carried our purchases out to the car for us. We asked her to join us for our picnic and it was wonderful to hear all about the area. We felt like the rich and famous with our private personal chauffer. Talk about bang for your buck! This option for wine tasting is more than worth it!!! We will be doing this again for sure! read more

This is such a good way to explore the wineries near Solvang! The 4 of us had a lot of fun with our driver, Eric, who knew so much about not only the area but all the wineries we went to! We didn't have any idea of what places to visit so he asked us which types of wines we enjoyed and then we were off! Friends and I have used Chris' service on two occasions. Once for a rowdy group of girls for a bachelorette weekend wine tasting and another time for two friends and myself for a more relaxing day of wine tasting. I plan to call Chris every time I'm in the area wine tasting!! His rates are great and let's face it...what fun is wine tasting if someone in your group can't enjoy the wine?!? A DD is a must. Chris is fantastic!! To be honest, we were a bit skeptical the first time we had Chris as a driver. We were worried it could be a little weird having a stranger drive us around in our car. Not the case at all. Chris is there to drive you around, if that's all you want, however if you want to talk about wineries, the area, etc he is very knowledgeable and it is very easy to talk with him. OR... if you're like we were (a group of rowdy girls)...we invited him in to our conversations and by the end of the day looked at him as more of a friend rather than a stranger driving us around. He definitely knows his way around the area, has great suggestions if you're not sure where you want to go and lets you go at your own pace. While you're wine tasting he reads outside...ready and waiting to drive you to your next destination. Another thing that is great is that he is very accommodating. On both trips we asked him to drive us to the grocery store first so we could grab some lunch to bring with us for later in the day and on the second trip we ended the day asking him to drive us to an ice cream store.
