Excellent wines! Stopped in at the tasting room after our visit to Lotusland. My friend had a glass of wine while I did a tasting. I really enjoyed their Pinot noir and Chardonnay the most and bought bottles to take home.

Did the wine tasting and tried some delicious Pinot. A very relaxing environment to sip some wine and the service was friendly.

    2016 Lalapanzi Pinot Noir. Delightful.

It was a busy Saturday afternoon when we popped in to check out this tasting room in the Presidio Neighborhood. They specialize in Pinot Noirs. Our favorite of the flight was the Runway Pinot Noir. We also purchased their Chardonnay and the Rose. The Rose is was qui refreshing! Despite being so busy, the staff was friendly and efficient as well as accommodating. When I asked about trying the Rose, they gladly opened a bottle for us. The tasting room was lively and can accommodate a large group.

We stopped by while walking around downtown Santa Barbara. This little tasting room is located in historical El Paseo plaza. All waitresses were in cute vintage costumes which was fun to look at. Place was quite empty for a Saturday afternoon, in fact I'v never seen downtown Santa Barbara this quiet. I think COVID has taken a toll on all of us. We chose reserved tasting cause they usually taste better in my opinion. Although I am never a fan of wines especially reds. We liked our wines and it was a nice warm afternoon. Wine tasting is always a very enjoyable activity anywhere!

A cute tasting room in the heart of Santa Barbara, Au Bon Climat offers a good variety of wines at various price points. The "reserve" tasting is $20 and the "classic" tasting is $15 for five pours. The reserve is focused on reds and the classic is a mix of reds and whites. We arrived toward the end of the day after doing an earlier tasting in Santa Ynez, so there was only one other couple there tasting. The woman helping us wore a mask the whole time and kept us a close watch on when both our glasses were empty to come by and bring us the next pour. Tasting is now done outdoors, with tables set up in front of the tasting room and just to the side. We opted for a table to the side to be a bit further from the street noise. The more expensive (~$50) wines were definitely the ones that I liked the most, with the Isabelle being quite good. Already being the member of two outstanding wine clubs my bar for purchasing wine is quite high, so while I did not buy any bottles here, I did enjoy the experience!

This place came as a recommendation from a few others. We love love Pinot Noirs and they had a beautiful selection. We didn't join the club but we did buy a couple bottles and enjoyed both of their flights. Their Chardonnay was enjoyable (I'm not typically a fan of Chards) and their Gewurtztraminer was delicious, we purchased two bottles of it! Kyle was knowledgeable and explained the wines thoroughly. We look forward to enjoying our wines back in Vegas!

We were in Santa Barbara for the day so we stopped in for a tasting. Au Bon is located in a plaza with several other wine tasting rooms. Our group got the Reserve Flight for $20, which included a Chardonnay and several Pinot Noirs. Our favorite was the 2016 Isabelle Pinot Noir. If you order at least $60 worth of merchandise, the tasting is free. This tasting room has a large community table, a bar area, sitting stools against the window, and a sofa. It is a nice intimate setting where you can converse with friends. There were also dogs there so it is a dog friendly place.

This really is the perfect place for both wine AND food…read more So far we've been in a couple times sitting in the bar area and also out on their comfy patio space. Our servers Alex and Kayla were exceptional at both suggesting some delicious lunch items, and also giving a rundown on their different wine tastings. They gave us some helpful information on the assorted varietals and vintages as well. We went in specifically for their M5 and Riviera Rose, but discovered their extensive selection of other varietals and vintages. Came away with some new favorites: Sauvignon Blanc, Trois Blondes (a delicious white blend), Viognier, Mourvedre, and Estate Syrah. Perfect that they open at noon for lunch. We paired our wines with their Santa Barbara Smokehouse Salmon, Smoked Duck and Arugula Salad, Chicken Pesto Sandwich, and Sausage Mushroom & Carmelized Onion Pizza. Still so much on their menu to enjoy.

I'm giving this place 3 stars because of the efforts of one server to keep things afloat outside…read more When we arrived, another large party had just left outside and she immediately cleaned one of their tables so we could sit. It was chilly so she tried to light the heat lamp at my request but both that one and the replacement did not work. The replacement actually had the propane disconnected so I assume someone knew that tank needed to be changed out but didn't do it. The other tables from the large party were full of wine glasses and a half eaten pizza. Those sat there for over an hour, and we watched several groups of people come but leave without being seated because no server was available yo seat them and the only open table hadn't been cleared. When it was finally cleared, one guest at a near by table commented that the pizza shouldn't go to waste. The girl who cleared the table initially carried it inside but came right back out with it and served it to that guest whose kid ate it. I'm all for not wasting food and if the guest had gotten up and grabbed the pizza himself, that would be one thing... but to serve old food that had been sitting out for a long time to a guest is a no no for a business. We otherwise enjoyed most of the wines in our tasting flight. Would've given 5 stars if service had been more timely, tables cleared and old food not served up.

The aesthetic is intentional and well done. Mexican icons on the walls, thoughtful decor throughout, and fresh flower centerpieces that quietly say someone here actually cares. It feels curated, not forced. I've seen a review floating around claiming Angel is rude, which hasn't matched my experience at all. Every interaction I've had has been professional and friendly. We had a series of issues from the start. Our assigned waiter was completely inattentive; he ignored our table, failed to check on us, and never brought the cheese board we ordered. We eventually had to flag down another member of the staff just to get any service at all. Even after we caught his attention, our server seemed aware of us but made no effort to approach or assist. Additionally, the wait time for our wine flights was excessively long. When the cheese board finally arrived, I was shocked to find that all three cheeses were served still inside their original plastic wrappers--not even sliced. To make matters worse, we were provided with plastic knives to cut the cheese ourselves, which was incredibly difficult and frustrating. I have never encountered a cheese board served this way at any establishment. I really wanted to enjoy this visit, and I want to give credit to the other waitresses who were working that day--they were great and were the only saving grace of the experience. However, the lack of basic service and the bizarre presentation of the food made this a trip I wouldn't recommend
