We went with friends on a Tuesday night and it was pretty busy which says a lot. It's small but has a cozy luxurious feel and the staff is friendly and helpful. They like what they are doing. It's in a strip mall parking lot so parking is pretty easy; if it's crowded, you might not be able to park right in front of the restaurant but there's still plenty of parking. We chose flights of wine to start out and really enjoyed each of the three we picked. For appetizers we got the pumpkin hummus and the Muhammara which is a roasted red pepper and walnut dip with toasted pita. My friends enjoyed their hummus, and my husband, and I thought the pepper and walnut dip were out of this world. We wanted more for dinner. The pita was the perfect crispiness and accompaniment for the dip. Having had limp pita at another restaurant recently makes me especially locked in on this detail lol For mains we got the duck confit tacos, the gnocchi bolognese and the hippie chick salad with roasted salmon. My friend enjoyed her salad, but I forgot to ask how she liked the roasted salmon on top. It looked tasty and was something I was considering for next time. I got the duck confit tacos which were definitely different from your standard fare and had a nice kick to it without being overwhelming. On my first bite I thought it was gonna be too spicy, but the heat did not build to unbearable. Still not sure I'm a fan of duck, but it was done very well and I wasn't disappointed. My husband's gnocchi Bolognese was done perfectly. I was shocked how light and pillowy the gnocchi were and loved the Bolognese, which was the perfect amount of savory without being too rich; elevated comfort food for sure . We were too full from dinner to order dessert which kept our bill down to a little over one Benji for drinks, one appetizer and two beans, , which is pretty typical for a nice meal out these days. I do miss the days when you could go out for $30-$45 a person even with a shared appetizer and drinks but WW is more on the reasonable side compared to most. We will definitely be back though and Iwoll be investigating the private room option for a milestone birthday or anniversary. Well done WW!

I stopped in for a late lunch with a couple of friends. I visited previously and really enjoyed visit and was incredibly impressed with the staff. This time the employee at the front was great and explained the membership options and different wines. The server in the cafe was not friendly or engaging which was disappointing since on my last visit I really enjoyed ordering the dealer's choice wine flight and chatting with the server about the different wines. This time the server seemed annoyed and served my friends the same wine flights which didn't allow us to sample. Unfortunately this time we were not impressed with the wine choices like we were last time. I gave it four stars based on my first visit which was a 5 star visit and this time which was a 3 star visit. The food on both visits was fantastic!

We randomly found this place while looking for a tasting. Our server Josh was very knowledgeable and helped pick our wines. We had a Caesar salad and the sliders, both were delicious. The place was quiet and comfortable.

All wine bars aren't created equal and at this point. I consider myself a self-proclaimed novice wine enthusiast. My husband and I tried the wine whisperer for the first time today and I was truly impressed. We were greeted by a wholesome hostess that found us a quaint little table near the wine bar. I would recommend getting a reservation since the space is very limited. I decided to try the "Dealer's Flight" and had an amazing Chardonnay, Rose' and a dry Spanish wine. The sommelier was very thoughtful in his selections after asking me a variety of questions to pair me with the perfect wines. I love Roulette, so I'm always open to a gamble on wines. My husband had the whiskey flight and apparently he is now a fan of Rabbit Hole Dareringer. Because I love food as much as I love wine I decided to try the prosciutto, apple, Brie flat bread drizzled with honey. It was an acquired taste, but edible. If you are in search of a low key space with limited noise then this is the ideal location. It's hidden in a shopping center in short pump, so there isn't a ton of traction since it's not at the mall. Also, they have more than wine. The whiskey flights and cocktails allow some versatility!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this wine shop and bistro! I'm sad I only recently discovered them, they've been open for a year Located in Short Pump ( the only negative I my eyes), they are just off Pump Road and in the center with Chick-fil-A, total wine, and Tazza We were greeted and welcomed as soon as we walked in. There was a tasting available, so we did that before heading to the bistro for a bite to eat. You walk into the wine shop area.....Great selection of different wines across varietals and price. The bistro has a bar area you can sit at and several tables. Tables were spaced nicely, and seating was comfortable. Everyone staff wise is AMAZING! I want to shout out Jenna, who was welcoming and knowledgeable, and Alex, who created the Dealers Choice Flight, I tried. He nailed my pallet with 3 great wines! The Dealers Choice is a unique idea - the wine steward asks you a few questions and then picks the flight based on your answers. Wines by the glass offering changes weekly. You can pick a bottle from the shop to sit and enjoy too. Cocktails and beer are available, too. Nice menu selection as well to snack or dine. What we tried: Hummus - made on site Pear and Brie Flatbread Beet Salad And of course, a few glasses of wine!!!! My rating rationale  +1 Service +1 Food~Taste/flavor/quality +1 Presentation +1 Atmosphere/vibe +1 Value

Had a wonderful evening at The Wine Whisperer on 11/25. What initially drew me in was the $10 champagne tasting in which the cost went towards FeedMore, but stayed for the vibe, wine and snacks. The gentlemen server was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and detailed when selecting wines. I went with dealers choice whites and my guy did the same with reds. We also ordered the shishito peppers, pimento cheese and Margherita pizza. Everything was pretty good! I would definitely suggest checking this place out whether it be for a break from shopping or a meal out with friends!

Had the opportunity to stop in the Wine Whisperer the other evening. I was pleasantly surprised by the set up of the retail section, the bar area and the restaurant. Super cute and cozy! Definitely a place to go with friends or a special occasion. We didn't have anything to eat but the wine flight was very carefully chosen for us by Alex. He asked a couple questions and then presented us with 3 delicious tastings. My husband did red and I did white/rose. All very good! I also had a "splish-splash" half pour which is pictured. I will definitely return and Alex told us the wines change weekly! No boredom there! The rest of the staff were extremely friendly too.

My "Korean short rib" was a beautiful cut, first sliced and over marinated, ruining it with salt, then cooked on a high temp flat top, rendering the delicious beef tough, mouth-burning in its saltiness, and chewy. Absolute protein abuse. Thus was served on a rice cake that was ice cold cooked white rice seared and pressed in a pan. Could have worked if it was still warm, with a fluffy or chewy interior. As it was, it was brittle, hard, and unpleasant, just waiting to chip a tooth or dislodge a filling. Wildly overrated. Sorry to the very kind bar and kitchen staff. I took a few bites and rejected the food. I was not forced to pay.

When they learned we were celebrating our anniversary, they surprised us with warm bread and house-made herbed butter on the house, a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the evening. We started with the Lamb Lollipops and the Slow-Braised Pork Belly, and both were exceptional. The flavors were rich, balanced, and incredibly well executed. Every bite was cooked to perfection and left us excited for the next course. My spouse had the Bone-In Pork Rib Chop with roasted peaches, haricot verts, roasted poblano cornbread, and pickled peach mustard. This dish was absolutely phenomenal. Every component complemented the others beautifully. The sweetness of the peaches, the slight tang of the mustard, the savory pork, and the cornbread all came together in a way that felt thoughtful and perfectly balanced. It wasn't just delicious, it was memorable. To finish, we shared the Mascarpone Cheesecake with oat and almond crumble and summer berry ice cream. Heavenly doesn't even begin to describe it. It was light, creamy, and decadent without being overly sweet. Combined with the crumble and berry ice cream, it was the perfect ending to an incredible meal. Every single bite we had seemed to melt in our mouths. The quality of the ingredients, the attention to detail, and the flawless execution were evident in every dish.
