They need to say welcome or hey when you walk in (It's the generation) The manager was cool Mr. Vic-super nice and made sure the orders were right The ambiance hmmmm love the tvs, pool tables & games..... but they need to scrub the place down. Ordered a 1/2 lb cheeseburger with everything, plus bacon and jalapeños. Asked for lettuce and tomato on the side. Order of onion rings. Order of jalapeno poppers. 2x Chili Cheese dogs. Order of fries. 1) cheeseburger had no cheese! 2) lettuce and tomatoes were not even included! 3) onion rings were cold! 4) fries were cold! 5) no chili on the chili cheese dogs! I used to really like this place. The burgers and fries are consistent. But the shocking thing was how sticky and dirty it has become. The tables, the trays, the condiment area, chairs... everything has a greasy or sticky film. There were napkins on the floor and trash bins were caked with film. Floors were dirty and smells like the place was "cleaned" by dirty mop water. It really is a shame because the food is decent. The condiment area- ketchup empty. Instead of having hand sanitizer every where, it would be a good idea to give this place a thorough soap and bleach wash down. Ugh! read more

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it it! The food was really good, thoroughly cooked and seasoned really well! We had the tender basket for my daughter, hot dog and fries for my son, my husband had the burger and fries, and I had the quesadilla. We also got the brownies and had a few milkshakes! My husband did say that he wished the burger was bigger, but it was good. He ended up eating some of my quesadilla as well. The service was a little rocky in the beginning. They seemed as if they didn't want to be bothered initially when we walked in, and couldn't really get them to speak. We were polite but didn't seem to get the same respect back. After we received our food, however, we did see a change in attitude. I checked previous reviews and it seems like the service is what is really bringing the ratings down. Because I experienced it a bit myself, I would just encourage prioritizing training on service, smiling, and acknowledging customers. The food is definitely good, but people remember how you make them feel. We sat outside to eat, and we made friends with some of the other customers which also made it fun for the kids. The tables were pretty clean when we sat, and they did check on us to see if we were good. They have an intercom to communicate about your order if you are waiting outside, which is a plus. There was music outside and we all just chilled out, danced a little, and ate our food. They have a pinball machine and pool tables inside which is great for the family or for a night out. Very spacious interior with multiple seating areas w bout 6 TVs placed all round. Might wait a bit depending on the night. Be prepared to chill Fri/ Sat nights as they look overwhelmed sometimes. Service was HORRIBLE. The cashier "Vaughn" was so rude and was too busy staring at the lady giving her order next to me that he couldn't competently place my order. And when I paid, he just walked off. Said nothing. I had to grab my own receipt from the machine assuming he finished taking my order. A complete jerk. We've eaten here numerous times over the years and have always been happy! Today, 3/12/23 was without a doubt, the best! My hot wings were phenomenal! Perfect amount of heat and very moist! Size of drumsticks were above average, and the jalapeño poppers were quite flavorful! Wife loved her Philly Cheesesteak as well. Very clean establishment and friendly cashier. This restaurant is located in a small strip mall next to the QuikTrip. I want to like them as they used to be good but I've been disappointed each time I've ordered recently. Today, we called in our order: salad with crispy chicken tossed in hot sauce, jalapeño cheese poppers, philly cheese steak, and fries. As in my previous experiences, everything was cold or lukewarm. The poppers still appeared semi frozen! The chicken on the salad was cold as well but that's ok of the chicken at least tasted fresh but it didn't. The French fries were cold so they were not eaten. I just am very unhappy because there was nothing fresh about our order. It's as if food is just sitting out and they use that rather starting from scratch. This restaurant has been around since my parents were kids, and it has been a family tradition to enjoy their food every so often, I can't every day if I want to fit into my clothes. The atmosphere is always up beat and fun, it is a great place to kick back and play some pool or watch sports. It has always been very welcoming and friendly and in the last 10 years I MIGHT have had one or two negative experiences, I think that is a pretty good record for the time frame, especially since I keep going back! The remodel has nothing but enhance the environment, but I really miss the walls of license plates from a nostalgic perspective. The outdoor patio is comfortable, with the expected noise from S. Cobb Dr, but is surprisingly quiet with all things being considered. I genuinely enjoy this restaurant, and I hope they will be around for a long time to come. I have to give my Husband a big ShoutOut & High Five! He just experienced blatant racism from the owner of U.S. Cafe on S. Cobb Dr..... We've NEVER had any issues before...we've eaten there on MANY occasions because it's one of our favorite hangouts! But today the owner, an Indian guy refused to give my husband a cup of water while he waited for our food! We've never known met him prior. The owner (by the way refused to give us his name) admitted that it did seem racist but just a "misunderstanding" over a cup of water! He admitted it! The first words out of his mouth..."I'm not racist...I just " and I stopped him right there..."sir, that was racist...you gave this white man a cup of water while YOU REFUSED to give my husband a cup of water... after asking 3x....after PLACING our order!"' 3 EFFIN TIMES SIR! And he asked politely because he didn't get a drink (he always get a cup of water & milkshake) I asked him "How do you explain that sir??!" He TRIED to justify his decision which he couldn't because it was Black & White...literally! He continued to stumble over his words. I didn't override my husband's decision of canceling our order and I watched him handle it well but it hurt me to see the look in my husband's eyes over a cup of water as a man... Part of me wanted to "SWIPE" everything off the counter but I looked at the owner in the eyes...no tears but fire and sternly said "That's a Man!" He just kept apologizing... I'm actually very disappointed with this location. Every time we've come something has been left off our order. Today I ordered the same sandwich for my son that we ordered three days ago and was told an item addition could not be added to his burger and could only be ordered and placed on the side instead of on the actual burger. It made no sense as to why it couldn't be added to the burger especially after we had just ordered the same thing three days ago. Had a burger combo and six piece wings last weekend. The fries were pretty much inedible as they were so overcooked and cold. While I was waiting for my order another customer returned her fries so I should have known bad things were to come. The restaurant was pretty busy so I'm not sure how they managed cold fries with that many customers coming through. The chicken wings were also over fried to such a degree they were completely dried out. I ordered all chicken drummettes and they were so small on top of being overcooked that there was barely any dry meat on them. I tried to place a pick-up order and called three times. The line was busy with every attempt. It was a Sunday evening, and I checked opening hours before calling. I was already in the plaza grocery shopping, so I decided to walk over to place my order instead. The staff working the register/phone was friendly, but she let another customer (with the same situation), and I know she intentionally took the phone off the hook because "they've [we've] had too many orders." ​I thought it was absurd. It was not my place to question the action of the worker or whether management knew their staff was purposely not accepting phone orders. FOOD The 20 wings ordered were small. I have been here a few times and usually on point but today they do NOT have it together. Slow, slow, slow!! Customer behind me was a uniformed officer or military person who wanted a discount but was not in uniform. Making this one short and quick because I'm not happy. It's currently 2:22 on a Thursday afternoon. There are 4 people in front of me, 2 behind me and only one cashier. She just took an order then picked up the phone to take a to go order that I assume been holding a while. How can you run a business with one person running register and phone!! Absurd right. I've never done a review while standing in line to pick up anything but as I said I have to write to keep calm. Will I be back here again hmm at this point probably not!!! Tip to manager stop being greedy and hire help because there are so many people looking for jobs. Your food is one of thousands to choice from and you should remember that each time you do the schedule. Now that I'm next I have to decide if I'll accept my order that might be cold by now.
