Sebastian's Ale & Whiskey House has a lot of promise: Friendly staff, big menu, cool patio, BIG…read morescreen TV... but they fall flat with the execution. We stopped in for dinner and several things went awry as soon as our food started to arrive. When my side salad arrived it came with Ranch dressing. Well, it was supposed to, but what came didn't look like Ranch, smell like Ranch, or taste like Ranch. I asked the food delivery guy for more, thinking he may have grabbed something else on accident, and he brought more of same. Bummer. Ate my salad sans dressing. Then the Kids pasta arrived, along with a side of carrots. And we waited. And waited. Then the Philly Egg Rolls arrived and the Baked Potato. And I waited. And waited. Finally my "meat loaf" arrived. Only it didn't look like meat loaf. I waited some more for the waitress to return only she never did. I had to get up and walk over to the bar, where she seemed to be busy inventorying liquor bottles, to ask her to look at the food to confirm it was the meat loaf. She immediately confirmed, then paused, then said "Um... no... that... let me check." and took my plate away. Some minutes later I finally received the meat loaf I ordered (which was tasty!, just that everyone else was done eating my this time). While I'm not sure what caused the Ranch to turn, the food to take so long and be delivered piece-meal (when it was NOT crowded AT ALL), and the confusion around the meat loaf (which was one of their "most ordered" items, so we were told when asking about some favorite dishes), I can say that our waitress was very friendly the entire time and apologized for the mess up. Given all of this, and the fact that I think the prices are inflated given the portion sizes, I don't know that we'll be back again.

This neighborhood saloon & eatery has been a longtime favorite of mine, and it's easy to see why…read moreit's always packed--especially on Fridays. It's my go‑to spot for a classic Fish Fry, and after years of coming here, it still never disappoints. We arrived a little after 5:30 p.m. on a Friday and, as expected, only waited about five minutes. The moment you step inside, you're met with a lively bar scene--TVs tuned to various games, tall tables lining both sides, and a steady buzz of conversation. People are eating, drinking, and genuinely enjoying themselves. What surprised me most was how many families were there, even with infants and toddlers in tow. And honestly, it was great to see. The kids were calm, the parents looked relaxed, and the whole place had this easygoing, everyone's‑welcome energy. We sat in the back, and the table was cleaned quickly. Our server Heather brought menus, though we already knew exactly what we wanted. The menu has a big selection, but for us it was three orders of the Fish Fry. You can substitute sides--sweet potato fries, tots, or onion rings--and the meal comes with hush puppies and coleslaw. Drinks and water arrived promptly, and the entrées followed soon after, piping hot. The fried fish was flaky and flavorful--nothing like the heavy, all‑batter, no‑fish situation you get at some places. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared. We asked for refills and they arrived almost instantly. I'm already looking forward to coming back once the weather warms up so we can enjoy the patio. This place continues to be a reliable, welcoming spot with great food and an even better atmosphere.

The restaurant table set up is kind of bizarre. Different sized tables in the middle of the room…read more The tables all advertise the business The food however, is pretty good. The order area is nice and the electric menu boards are easy to read. We ordered the 10 piece bone-in chicken wings, in buffalo sauce. We were hoping that they had blue cheese as a dipping sauce but they don't. So we picked the ranch dipping sauce and it was just OK. When I first saw the chicken wings I thought they were gonna be crispy, but they're actually not. They are very moist and cooked to perfection. We ordered cheese sticks and they were eight in the order and they were delicious. Nice and crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. We also ordered two of the bubble tea. I got the Taro milk tea and my husband got the banana milk tea. They both had the tapioca in them and were so delicious! Best I have had! Really cold and yummy! If you're in the area, you should definitely give this restaurant a try. Next time we are going to try the Zinger Burger!

I ordered 12 Sweet Honey Wings, 12 Mango Habanero Wings, and 3 Honey Biscuits everything is made fresh so it took 25 minutes for me to get my food via Drive Thru. What a jolly little wingery! I've been there a few times now, and the food (I've only had wings,…read moresomeday I'll explore the burgers!) is always excellent - hot, fresh, fresh-cooked to order, and decently sized pieces. Their menu can be a little confusing, but the nice gent/owner is happy to help you out and make sure you leave with what you were after. Their Ranch Dressing is made onsite, and is a hit with my bride. I'm not a Ranch guy, myself. They have several very decent Dry Rub variations - just ask. Again, I'm not much of a "Sauce guy" - I like food that lets go of me once I've eaten it! Dry Rub rules! The prices are fair, especially for fresh bird. I wish they offered Breakfast Burritos (now that G&G has abandoned us) - I'd stop a couple times a week. No indoor dining area... that's why I carry paper towels in the truck. Wings Time is a real winner - you must try it!

Today I decided to get wings and fries from this place prior the Chicago Bears Game…read more I got 30 boneless wings w/ Honey BBQ, Mango Habanero, and Lemon Pepper along with an order of large fries and the total was: $35.30! - Pretty expensive. Wings lacked flavor seemed they were sauced very lightly which I was not a fan of and the only way I was able to eat the wings was because of the honey mustard sauce. Customer Service pretty fast the order was ready in 20 minutes. Decent Ambiance of the wing joint with a big Dwayne Johnson cut out.
