we have gone to the Wing Zone for many years, but will stop going now. We walked end and noticed it was COLD , then saw the person working there was wearing a coat, hat and gloves. Yes it was very cold. The last 3 times we have gone there (we go once a month) the drink machine is out of order so you have to buy bottle drinks which are more expensive then the fountain ones. Really disappointing every time. They pack two types of wings in the same box (DUMB). They charge for, but do not deliver, sodas. This is the last time I'm ordering from these people. Half a dozen attempts, all failures in one way or another. I'm done. Wanted to try a wings place and Wing Zone satisfied the craving. Tried 4 different flavors through a combination of orders: honey bbq, spicy thai, garlic Parmesan, and spicy cajun. The bbq and the spicy thai (a sweet spicy) were the favorites. The cajun was just a little too bitter spicy if that makes sense, and the garlic parm also didn't quite hit the spot, although it wasn't bad. The wings themselves are a good meaty size, juicy and fried well. The decor is pretty basic, clean. We were the only customers at the time for and it took about 15 minutes for food to come. I went into WingZone tonight, 11.27.2023, at about 1800. A female inside the store was so rude to the Cashier. The young man ( Q ). Made every effort to help this lady. She was cursing and talking to him with much disrespect, yet he maintained his composure and NEVER spoke to her with anything but kindness. Several calls were coming in, and the lady would not stop. She was trying to make him give her free food and cursing because someone else had done it for her the night before. I respect the way that the young man maintained his composure. It is horrible to treat people the way he was treated tonight while attempting to take care of the people in the lobby, take phone calls and help out in the back; He should be paid more for the BS he had to put up with tonight. We found this place courtesy of Yelp. We were driving through town and getting hungry. Whenever possible, we avoid the chain restaurants. Many of them were closed due to quarantine, any way. I ordered wings Caesar salad and that was essentially a plate of lettuce a few sprinkles of Parmesan (that I had to search for and two packs of Caesar dressing and a piece of garlic toast that I think I was suppose to eat w/ the salad in place of croutons (who does that) that I was charged $.91 for on top of the $5.75 for the plate of lettuce, I mean salad. Last week, I had a taste for Wings... and I have heard several people talk about the Wing Zone. So, I decided to venture down Staples Mills and find out JUST how good their Wings were.... Since it was my first time in the place, I noticed many people having lunch still, however I was happy the young man behind the register took his time with me without rushing... as there were many different flavors to choose from, and they have several combos in the way you can order so you can order one or more flavors... So, I had the Combo which allowed me to have two flavors. I went for the Ragin' Cajun and Nuclear-Habanero Wings. I like heat, so this will be a good test in HOW hot are their Wings and how much flavor in the Cajun Wings. I than ordered a Coke and looked around for LOTS of napkins, because for me... I seem to get a lot on my face when I enjoy wings. It took them almost 15 minutes to get my order out, so I had TWO refills on the Coke... I am not sure as to why it took so long as it was not busy in the place... When the Wings came out, they look good. I went for the Ragin Cajun first and too my much surprise, they had some Heat and really a nice flavor as well. I was glad they had extra sauce on the wings as I found myself licking the bones... Even the Chicken was cooked just right and not overcooked. I than dug into the Nuclear Habanero as I wanted the HEAT! They had Heat, however I am not sure I would call them Nuclear Habanero... When I think Nuclear, I am thinking REALLY HOT! They were HOT, but not Nuclear Hot! The ONLY disappointment in the Nuclear Wings was the lacking of Nuclear Sauce on the wings. I wanted to lick the bones like I did on the Ragin Cajun. When I was finished, I had sauce all over my face. I had the opportunity to speak with the Manager/Owner and she said Wing Zone is a Franchise... I thought it was a Mom and Pop's operation. On the menu they have Hamburgers and other items which you can order. She did tell me, I could have gotten extra sauce, however since NO one came to my table while I was eating to ask me how were the wings... I did not know about asking.... So, I am giving it 4 Stars for taking so long and I would like to have seen someone come around as ask... "How is everything"? Just a friendly Gesture I feel... So, I will be returning again when I have the urge to have Wings. I will definitely order the Cajun wings. I've been here to dine in many times and it has been perfect without fail. The buffalo bliss, Honey Q, cinnamon maple, and garlic parm wings are all incredible and I would strongly recommend them (not so much the BBQ Bacon Nirvana wings, despite their awesome name). The cashiers are nice and very professional. We received our meals pretty rapidly and finished the great food almost as rapidly. If you throw in the Campus Special coupon as well, this place is pretty unbeatable for the wing craver! Last night we ordered wings and they forgot the sauce. Instead of offering to remake the order they offered to credit me 5$ of the 70$ I spent or send new sauce out which was 15 mins away. The wings were ruined when I called to speak to the manager he just hung up because he didn't like my tone of voice and the girl who answered the phone cursed at me and called me a bitch for being upset with the service. So I've posted before about how good the wings/shrimp were. But I ordered online today, for curbside pickup. Called when I arrived they said they would be right out. 30 minutes later I have to go in, for my food which was just sitting on the counter. I got a little "sorry" and that's it. I get home and my wings are rock hard, like smack on the table hard. I call the restaurant and they said I could bring them back for an exchange, I ended up getting a refund. I went to Wing Zone a week ago and it was fully staffed. At least 6 staff were cursing and arguing about the schedule while I waited almost 30 minutes for my order. The waiting area had dirty tables. Me and my significant other were staying in VA for a few days and because we aren't from this area we needed to discover something to consume in our stomachs . My significant other had the shrimp and fries (wedges) and said it was pretty good and actually the next day had a taste for more . I had the wings (voodoo and sweet samurai) I thought the sweet wings were good . The voodoo however , wasn't a fan of . It tasted like Cajun seasoning that was just thrown on top after they fried the wings. I placed my order around 11:47 since I had just left the mommas boy play starring nephew tommy and they were closing up . My hotel was about 7 mins away . I was on my way there and the owner/manager called me tells me to hurry up because they were closing . I arrived promptly around 12:02am and the doors were locked . The sign was on that they were open assuming they knew there was an order left for a customer to pick up. He looked at me and pointed to his watch that I didn't make it on time . Wing Zone graciously catered a Yelp Elite Event a couple of weeks ago and I liked the wings so much that when my husband and I were having a lazy night at home and didn't feel like cooking, we got on Yelp and ordered Wing Zone delivery. For the record, being able to order delivery right through the app might be my favorite feature! Before we knew it, the delivery guy was at our door with hot, fresh wings. It's so nice that they have different packages like the buddy pack that are cost effective and great for groups because you can order multiple sauces. We got traditional wings with honey q and garlic parmesan sauce. I loved the garlic parmesan sauce at the event and loved it even more this time around. While I would have personally ordered the boneless wings (just personal preference) my husband opted for the traditional wings for our buddy pack and they were fall-off-the-bone delicious. The buddy pack also came with some really good fries, celery, and ranch dressing. I was surprised with how good the fries were just because I never expect much out of delivery fries. Looking forward to keeping Wing zone in our delivery rotation and I hope to make it in the store some time soon. read more

Because I love wings so much anytime I see a place where I can get some good wings I'm all about it. Ended up going here because a coworker was talking about it and figured I give them a try. I ended up picking up my order it wasn't too expensive. My total came to less then 12 bucks for 10 wings and some fries. The food tasted very fresh as if it was just done. The winds were pretty good to my only complaint is they were hot enough. Next time I will definitely be getting a hotter sauce to have the wings tossed in. A review on the same day that I ate at a restaurant is rare.. Sitting down to write a review for a restaurant that I never stepped into never happens. Well, that's exactly what I'm doing here. I'm tired, but most importantly didn't want to waste my time wandering around on West Broad Street looking for a place to eat that might not be all that good. I wound up ordering from Wing Zone. No big expectations. I just wanted to not leave my hotel room. Well, the woman took my order of 10 garlic parm wings, and 10 fried shrimp w/fries and told me that it would be an hour for delivery. 25 minutes later, a knock at the door... It's early!! Really early... That impressed me more than anything, and I still didn't have any expectations of how the food would be. Let me just say that the food was as hot as it would have been if I actually went there and sat down to eat. The wings were huge and cooked well. The sauce was great with bits if garlic and a bit spicy. The fries surprisingly were crisp and seasoned. And the shrimp were big and hot... This really kind of made me happy, because I now have a place that I can order takeout or delivery from and have at least an experience that was great from a delivery standpoint. This place does not value its customers. This was my first time using the online ordering. It asks if you want it right away or at a specific time. I requested 12, I wasn't expecting the driver to be here at 12 on the dot but I figured it would be pretty close. I waited outside-it's cold today-for 30 mins and then received a call from the manager stating that the driver left because I didn't answer my phone that I was literally staring at while waiting for this driver outside the front door. I was standing in front of the door, why wouldn't I have approached the person carrying a wingzone bag? I wasted my whole lunch on this. I called and asked for the corporate number and was told "there is no number to give out-go to the website" They were completely unapologetic because apparently this situation is my fault. At least that's how the manager made it seem. All they had to do was call/text/email me and say they could not accommodate my delivery request and at that point I could have canceled my order or I could have tried to reschedule it for another approximate time. I did file a corporate complaint but I really don't think anything will come of it, just like I think I wasted my time writing this review. So sad they have decent food. read more

I went to Wing Zone today for lunch. The menu has changed and more daily specials was added (kids meals are on the menu now). Some of the sauces were taken off the menu and replaced. I personally miss the old wing sauces like Buffalo Blue. Since the menu has changed (sauces),I occasionally stop if I'm in the area. The service was good and fast as usual. I went here for the first time last Thursday. This was completely random, so we were super excited to find out that wings were only $.55 each on Thursday nights!! Our family meal was about $30 for 50 wings. We all left full and happy. We got the Cool Ranch, HoneyQ, Blackened Voodoo, Lemon Zinger, and Garlic Parm. They were all really good! The Cool Ranch and Blackened Voodoo were dusts. I personally don't really like the dusts too much anywhere I go, so I was not expecting much. The Cool Ranch was really good, though! Not very ranchy, so I dipped it in ranch dipping sauce and it was good. The Blackened Voodoo was eh, but my parents loved it. The Garlic Parm was good but pretty spicy. While wing zone is cheaper than other wing places you deff are paying for what you get. I chose to dine in and the wings were disappointing. They weren't very hot, and the chicken itself has no flavor. Also the sauces had no depth of flavor either, and the wings were swimming in the sauces there was so much poured on them. Another thing we ordered were the mozzarella sticks. They tasted like they were pulled out a box and microwaved. The cheese was had no "cheese-pull" you bit into it and that was it. Also one of my wings was completely black, not from being fried, but from being a bad piece of chicken, the skin was black and white and the inside of the wing was also black. Wing zone is like hit or miss, sometimes you get fresh chicken sometimes you get old chicken... well today i got old chicken.... I'm guessing... what does it mean when the chicken has several dark spots on it :/..... fried and then fried again to heat it up and make it seem fresh?? I received wings and they were burnt,tasted very bad and hard!I had to throw them in the trash after two bites. I called the place to share my thoughts and see if I can a fresh batch made (lemon pepper & ranch). The Manager was so rude and told me to go in the trash to get them. Now that is poor customer service. What a waist of my money. I am no longer order here any longer. I told him I will be making a review on this restaurant he told me "go ahead"".
