    Pee stains on the carpet
    Jenn S.

The room reeked of pet urine with visible spots of pee on the carpet. Disgusting and shameful for the person who allows their pets to do that to a hotel room as well as the management who rents the room out in that condition. We are hoping to get a refund. If I could give this place a zero I would.

    Towel dirty, hoping it's soap

We won't be staying at a Wingate again. So much was dirty: microwave, bathroom, bed, floor. If we weren't so tired we would have left. It seems they don't really clean between guests. Was very disappointed, looked fine online.

This has been a pretty top-notch travel experience at this location. Pet friendly Breakfast actually includes real eggs Microwave and refrigerator in the room Dining room has several other sitting areas that are comfortable with a nice view of the red rocks behind the hotel, which is what you came here for right? Speaking of rocks, about 15 minutes from arches may be 25 from canyonlands. Great parking area Friendly staff Plenty of towels and decent sized shower and bathroom. The bed was very comfortable with a range of pillows. Why not five stars you ask? Because you can hear people walking around overhead. Can't hear the dogs barking next-door can't really hear the door slamming in the hall, but footsteps overhead was just the only flying the ointment. A very minor one. Highly recommended.

Everything nice, View is VERY nice including the waterfall nearby, but the WiFi is complete TRASH, took me 5 minutes to load into this page!! Other then that, very nice!

We thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated our stay at the Wingate. Being unsure of staying in a hotel during COVID times we were unsure what the experience would bring. When we first pulled up we were the only car in the parking lot and it was quiet and empty. We walked in and were greeted by the awesome staff. They are all abiding by new regulations - wearing masks, shields by checkin, contactless process, and sanitizer located in multiple places. Breakfast is definitely grab and go style and they encourage limited use in the lobby as much as possible. Gym and Pool area are open and again so quiet - we went out to enjoy a few drinks and play cards one night and there was no one in sight. The hotel is only a 9 months old, it can't get much cleaner than that. We felt completely safe staying here and taken care of. It's off the main strip a bit but close enough to drive or walk to other places. We highly recommend staying here and would again if we come back to Moab.

I was given an option of where I would like my room when I checked in. I was told the side with the view is louder because it's closer to the highway but I'm not a light sleeper so I opted for a room with a view. The room had a microwave, fridge, full length mirror, TV, travel sized toiletries, heat/AC.. Sanitizer is readily available throughout the hotel. Limiting the number of people on the elevator and not having any housekeeping for the duration of the stay were some covid precautions made. Complimentary breakfast was offered every morning on the first floor with hot foods, a waffle maker, cereal, fruit, bread, apple or orange juice, coffee, tea.. There were TVs and plenty of seating options in that common area. There was also an outdoor pool that I did not use.. I overheard laundry is on the second floor. I just utilized the room and grabbed toast or fruit for breakfast. In the room where breakfast is served, beverages stayed available throughout the day and evening.. at least water, coffee, and tea. I didn't try the juice dispenser.. but that was a nice amenity even though your room does have a coffee maker. I stopped to make tea and refill my water bottle on my way back to my room and on my way out of the hotel, I never had to use my room's coffee maker. Free parking. They do ask for vehicle information when you check in.. depending on traffic, it's 10 minutes from Arches National Park and maybe 25 from Canyonlands and Dead Horse. Not really a property to walk around. You'll want to stay closer to the downtown area for that.

Clean, modern hotel with great parking for trailers. Close to the fairgrounds. Breakfast is continental, not amazing but will do.

They had no written or documentation of this when we reserved our room. We have stayed here once before. And we're never charged this. Rooms are clean but the tub drained so slow that you had to wait before the next person could shower. The beds were so lumpy and uncomfortable also. The only reason we are giving 3 stars is do to the friendly staff. Also we spent the night and morning listening to all the doors slamming shut. They need to fix this because people don't care to be quiet.

The staff was super friendly (as I've experienced with most BWs) and we felt very comfortable and safe. Didn't love the tile flooring, but figured thats due to the sandy location. I would 100% recommend staying here....however my lesson learned/PRO TIP moving forward in booking any hotel is to ask for a non connecting room and/or to not be next to anyone. We had a connecting room with a dude, let's call him "Ralph," who came in REAL hot around 1030 PM amd proceeded to spend the next hour moaning right next to our door. We didn't know if he was having sex or pooping until he began to violently throw up. We tried to drown it out with the AC, but ended up calling the front desk to switch rooms. They were so accommodating and even tried to check on Ralph (lesson learned drinking and dehydration is a real thing). Moral of this short blib- walls are thin and I am a light sleeper. The hotel handled the situation perfectly... but from now on I will be requesting to be tucked away in a solo room away from the wild ones :)

At the same time, it's not, like, a totally awesome hotel option. The buffet is a little uninspiring, and they frequently run out of coffee and you may have to wait ten minutes for it to reappear. The pool is small and crowded. During the course of our stay they had no cots or rollaway beds for our room. They layout of the room was a little odd. The bathroom didn't have a fan, and so the whole room developed a kind of locker-room odor over the course of our four-night stay. Overall, my impression is that this is the kind of hotel where they never give you anything more than the experience you paid for. On the other hand, they don't give you anything LESS than the experience you paid for, and that is nothing to be taken for granted. It's like a Hanes t-shirt. It does the job.

There was a nice full size kitchen downstairs, with a pullout bed option in the sitting area. There was a little dining room table as well. Upstairs there were multiple bedrooms with pretty comfortable beds and pillows. The bathrooms were also nice and the showers were powerful which is always a huge plus at any hotel. It also had a really nice pool area with a neat little whirlpool section that the kids really enjoyed. Everything was updated and modern so it was very enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a dog friendly, kid friendly resort, very close to the downtown area of Moab for easy access to shops and restaurants. This place is perfectly placed and beautifully built. The rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. Room service was very nice about taking all the trash and cleaning up the dishes. I only had one complaint and it was a fairly large one. The mattress in the king bedroom was lumpy and super uncomfortable. I spent 2 nights on it before my back completely rebelled. When I addressed this with the front desk, they offered a mattress topper to even out the lumps and this was a very good solution. I still highly recommend this place and would suggest to review the mattress right away if you have back issues - and it is for this reason I took off one star.

Breakfast in the lobby can be hectic as everybody is rushing to get out to Arches. I appreciate that they try to mix things up so you don't have the same proteins every day. They also have the standard selections: make-your-own waffles, oatmeal, greek yogurt + toppings, eggs, meat protein, breads (English muffins, bagels, slices of bread), peanut butter, jelly, cereals, etc. The hotel can be a bit loud as the pool closes to kids at 10p but is still open for adults until 11p, and our room faced the pool. There are no restaurants on premises but you can order room service from the Springhill Suites. There are other shared services with the Springhill Suites including a shared pool.
