Warning: Long read. This review is only directed at the Winnemucca, NV. location. My family and I visit this Wingers roughly 4 times a year when we come to Winnemucca and usually have a group of 12-15 people. I am currently working in Winnemucca for a month and this was my third visit this week. I took my family there while they were here visiting. Our waitress was great as always but when we received our food I questioned the size of the nachos (8-10 chips) that came with the WTF combo which is any 1 starter item combined with 4 wings & 4 chicken fingers for $16.50. They told me you only get a sample size of the starter which the menu clearly does not say that. I asked to speak with a manager because I was basically paying an additional $7 for a tiny plate of nachos. The manager (Rudy) argued that is the way corporate does it. I said it only says 1 of the above items on the combo, not a sample size, and that if corporate wanted it that way they would have printed that on the menu. I asked if I ordered just the nachos ($9) what would I get. He said a large plate of nachos, using his hands as reference. I told him that is what was expected and he should bring us that or we would leave and not pay for it. He said if I did he would call the cops. I then asked to speak to the owner, whom he referenced at one point and he said they would tell me the same. I again asked to speak to the owner so I could hear it straight from them. As we ate and waited for the owner, the manager came walking back to our table about 10 minutes later without the owner but with two police officers whom he had called. Luckily there were only two other tables with customers at 8:00 on a Saturday night but it was still embarrassing. The officers waited until the manager produced the bill and we paid it before they left. I was dumbfounded that it came to that. I'm a pretty forgiving person and we've had several issues here before, but the service has been great and most of the time the food has been good too. I introduced 5 new people to Wingers this week alone but never again in Winnemucca. Considering it's never busy in a town with hundreds of miners and located next to a man camp & RV Park speaks to a larger problem, management and ownership. read more

A waste of money. Got their garlic breath burger. It had almost no aoli on it whatsoever, and you get more tomato, lettuce, and onion on a whopper than you do here, and for a lot less money. read more

Had dinner here while visiting some friends. Food was mediocre and drinks were watered down. Food took 40 minutes and one of the orders was wrong. Our server was awesome though so that's why I gave this three stars instead of two. Place is clean and looks nice inside. read more

Food is always good never a bad experience there. We have been dozens of times and the service is always the same, terrible on most occasions a few good waitresses but overall horrible. So to recap good food, terrible service. I love their home brews and the blackberry smash whiskey. If your server would ever come back I would order a few more of each, they don't. Not good for me as a thirsty patron and the tip at the end. I tip right along with the service 5%effort =5% here. Good food you'll leave full but thirsty and lastly very tired of waiting. They do offer complimentary pillows and blankets while you wait. Bring the kids and enjoy your weekend while you wait for your entree. read more

Driving from the west coast to the east coast saw this place and decided to stop. Great food! The spicy cauliflower was the bomb! The chicken tacos were amazing although I would have liked to just be able to order one because they are huge! The wings were very good as well as the burger. I was driving back to Boise from the Bay Area in CA and decided to break up my drive by staying overnight in Winnemucca. This was during the NBA playoffs, so all I wanted to do was watch the game, eat some wings, and drink some nice cold beer. This was the perfect place to do the aforementioned! I was a big fan of Wingers out in Meridian (before it closed and turned into a K Fusion restaurant) so to find it out in Winnemucca was providential. Passing through Winnemuca on our way to California, had to stop somewhere for lunch and we found this little gem. Service was decent, food was acceptable. Please don't judge me, it is a Wingers after all. But I have to admit that over all the place wasn't bad. I mean you can't expect too much from a Wingers, especially a Wingers that only has two people for the wait staff. A Wingers that has a huge bar in the middle of it. The casino off to one side was a nice touch. But, hey, you gotta do what you gotta do to generate income. Still, holding to the idea of someplace to stop and eat as you drive through the huge nothing that is Nevada, this place will work. read more

Ate lunch here on our trip to and from Denver about six days apart. Obviously we liked the first time to return again later in the week. Everything generally good with no concerns at all. Is the food to die for? No, but it's good. Is the service the best ever? No, but it's good. Is the setting super terrific? No but again it's pretty nice. So, since I had some time to kill, I thought I'd give Wingers a second chance. Well, I'm glad I did. I wanted some more of the "sticky fingers" and hoped to get decent service this time around. Once again, I opted for lunch special. But, this time around I received my order in less than ten minutes. They were attentive when I asked for a second and third order for some additional "fingers". My coworker was happy with his meal, a sticky finger wrap, as well. I look forward to coming back here when working in the area. Plus, it is a nice sports bar with many beers on tap. The food is decent. The service left much to be desired when it first opened, but it has been improving. I would have given it three stars because it's your typical chain sports bar, but I bumped it up because it's pretty much the only place in Winnemucca that you can be sure to catch the football game you want (they have a ton of TVs) and not smell like smoke. read more

This is an absolute joke of a restaurant. My dad and I sat down and it took over an hour for us to get our food. And that was after asking multiple waitresses to find out what was going on. We also couldn't get our drinks filled and when we complained to the manager she just took our food away, still charged us for our drinks and told us many different excuses of why they couldn't get it right. I ordered wings to go with garlic and Parmesan rub, because I can't eat hot. Picked up order and got back on road. My order was not garlic Parmesan, it was some hot rub, that I couldn't eat. We were already down the road trying to get home so we couldn't turn back. I called Wingers and ask they refund the messed up meal, they said they couldn't unless I returned with the order they messed up. I asked to speak with manager, I was cut off. Great Salmon dinner and Bacon Cheeseburger. The salmon was very juicy and great mashed potatoes. Great burger as well very juicy and tastes like home. Just happen to find this Wingers on the Eastern side of Winnemucca and my wife and I were very happy with the food and especially the SERVICE. Karla was both our bar tender and waitress and she was SUPERB. The staff we saw and dealt with were all helping each other and very friendly. We have always looked for a good restaurant in Winnemucca that was better than the hotel ones and Wingers is it. Yes, we will stop here our next trip to California. read more

Really tasty place to stop and eat while in Nevada. Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with the menu. So we ate at this place on July 18 and 25th. On July 18, we had a great server and great food. On both occasions I had the Roadhouse Burger and my wife had the winger chicken salad. The winger sauce is spicy and sweet. You can also buy a bottle to take home. The reason for one star lost is the server on the second trip there was not very good. We asked for mayo and didn't get it. She was slow on drink orders. And we ask to buy the sauce but never got it. No, we were not charge for it. By the way, there were two other couple in the restaurant. So it was not busy. Still, I would go back because the food is soooo tasty. read more

I don't know what has changed at this place but our service was great, very friendly and attentive. The food was great and we had a wonderful time.
