This is a boys night out restaurant! People who come here fiend. Particularly, at this location, they don't have as much talent as other locations in the area. The bartender serving us named Angel had a cute face and beautiful straight brown hair. Wears glasses and has a nice southern accent. Totally an angel. All of the old guys at the bar were flirting with her. The breaded wings were not on par. I ordered all flats and didn't get that. Love the taste of their lemon pepper dry rub though. Had a great time here watching the PGA Championship after dialing in on the links!

Wings, salad and cup of chili

This review is for a delivery order only, so I can't comment on atmosphere or service at all I ordered the buffalo chicken dip, a house salad, wings and a cup of chili. Everything was packaged perfectly, separately so chips weren't soggy etc. The salad was fresh and crisp, served with 2 sides of ranch. The chili had lots of cheese and finely chopped onions. The chicken in the buffalo chicken dip was a bit dry but with all that cheese, it was fine. The wings were good and large as well For junk food, bar food, whatever you want to call it, it was pretty good!

BEERS!

I mean what more can you want! Best night cap beer stop in Florida! Not to mention the bartenders are ! I will always remember my first time at THE wing house!

onion rings and dip

This is supposed to be 5 garlic parm wings and 5 medium wings with a side of fries. What I got...LOL....is some random stuff....i think it's a hybrid of the two wings...not sure....what I do like....is the gamble...keeps you on your toes ....just call it the bartender surprise since that's what I keep getting...next time I sit down I'm gonna say "surprise me" since that is what happens anyway. BUT!!!!! I bet...whoever she's been texting while my order is being jacked up...has GOT the right text.....bet...on...that....idk how this place is still open as a restaurant...other then the butts....which is why I go....BUTT...if you want what you're paying for....as far as food goes....not gonna happen. So you get one star since the scale doesn't go the other way....5 for butts...negative 3 for food. Food bad. Butts good. I can't stop going...maybe 11 times... good butts...random food.....

two pints of beer

Maya was an amazing server at Winghouse. She was very friendly and outgoing. If you are at the winghouse on us 19 and park Blvd, request that you sit in Maya's section.

The hostess, waitresses and bartender wear midriffs and thongs--so dehumanizing! We walked in and turned right around and left.

Wings were crap, and way overpriced. Bartender was beautiful and nice. May come in for a beer, but last time I order food here.

I don't eat burgers often, although I love them, so when I do it's gotta be good…read more We went to Engine No 9 for the 4th of July, and it was outstanding! We arrived at 5:30 and it was packed, but a table opened for us within two minutes. The ambiance was awesome, with each table having its own miniTV! Guests didn't have to choose between watching Wimbledon or the World Cup (or anything else they chose). Such a clever idea and probably great for entertaining kids, too. The server was prompt and friendly, and we got our drinks and app ordered immediately. We split the corn dog as an appetizer (felt right for 4th of July), and my husband declared it was one of the best he ever had. A great ratio of the sweet fried dough and salty hot dog. Definitely a reasonable portion to split as an appetizer and still have room for an entree. We got the tomato and corn salad as a side, which was a nice palate cleanser. I got the bacon cheeseburger (sub a pretzel bun, which you can absolutely do) and my husband got the Van Helsing. Both were excellent. He got regular fries and I got sweet potato fries and a side salad, also fantastic. My meal was exactly what I wanted - a classically delicious cheeseburger (I removed the bacon and put it on my side salad, which I highly recommend). My husband's had perfectly cooked garlic cloves and a nice zest with the jalapeños. They also had a great tap list to go wash everything down! We left stuffed but not feeling like we were going to die. It was a wonderful experience for start to finish and we'll be back!

I got the crispy duck wings (and do not know why I didn't take a picture ) but they were very crispy and very good. They came with 2 sauces, which I did not try because they said they were a bit spicy and I don't like spicy, but they were plenty good on their own. I ordered the One Bad Pig with a side of sweet potato fries and of course had to get an extra side of tator tots because I love them. The burger was very good and juice, hard to eat because it's so big, but I managed to do it. The tots were crispy just like I like them and the fries were your typical sweet potato fries but very good. The service was attentive and good and it seemed to be a local crowd and was a nice vibe. It is off the beaten path so not too touristy but the locals know about it so it gets crowded. I highly recommend this place for a burger if you are wanting one!!

Fair warning though, it mysteriously…read moreshrinks after a few washes (or maybe the food here is just that good at making my waistline expand? The jury is still out). I genuinely like this place, but my latest visit was a gentle reminder that even the greats have their off nights. We grabbed a spot on the outdoor patio, which is great because there are tons of TVs playing sports to keep you entertained. And you're going to need that entertainment, because the vibe this particular evening was heavily operating on "island time." I started to wonder if our server had to physically row to an island to get our order. It was a very long wait just to be acknowledged, and an even longer wait for drinks. Funniest part? My beer arrived well before my water. I was incredibly parched, and while I appreciate a cold brew, I didn't exactly want to shotgun my beer just to survive the drought. The tap water finally made its grand, triumphant entrance a solid 20 minutes after we sat down. When it came time to order, we met the Upcharge Enthusiast. Here's the deal: burgers come with rice and beans by default. If you want Bob's fries, that's a $2 upcharge. I tried to shoot for the stars and upgrade to onion rings. The response? A firm, almost offended no. "Those are an appetizer," I was informed. Honestly, our server seemed to derive a bizarre, villainous amount of joy from telling me things were an upcharge. Hey, whatever brings you happiness, just take my two dollars and make the fries happen. After the drinks took a serious scenic route, the food came blazingly fast out of the kitchen, but when it finally arrived...wow. The burgers here are absolute behemoths. You literally have to unhinge your jaw like an anaconda to take a bite. I have to admit, they are undeniably amazing. One bite almost makes you forget you spent the first half of the evening contemplating drinking water out of a patio planter. Pro-tip: Bring paper money! They give you a nice little discount if you pay in cash. Overall, I still really like this joint. Every restaurant is allowed to have a rough service night every now and then, and this just happened to be one of them. I'll definitely be back although I just might pre-hydrate in the parking lot next time.
