I also got one of the bowls based on what the staff recommended and it was excellent, the kind of food that makes you slow down between bites. What I liked most is that you can tell someone in the kitchen actually cares. Local ingredients, seasonal stuff, and the vegan and gluten friendly options are not slapped on as an afterthought. Everything on the menu feels like it was thought about. Staff were lovely, room is bright and easy to sit in for a while, and the prices are fair. Walked out feeling good, which is rare these days. The Double Smashed Burger was topped with sautéed mushrooms, onions, bacon, cheese, and more. This was ordered with a Mixed Green Salad that was very attractive and colourful. Both were delicious!
