Do NOT do business with Wingrove Taxidermy. In 2013 He accepted work on my deceased fathers beloved Golden Pheasant. I even provided Bryan with feathers and another golden pheasant crown. This is Sept2016 and he has had this bird over 3 years. Still No refund and no bird. Very sad since this is very sentimental to me and I told him that. This Golden Pheasant was my Dads pet. I have emailed him 15xall documented. If he couldn't do the work which he promised at the most in one year then he shouldn't have taken it or called me to return it. Don't ever do business with this guy. Won't return phone calls and hides behind text messages. Promises a year to complete a mount of a banded pintail. Mails through us mail a non preserved skinned bird a year and a half later with no ice...Rotten soup... Don't go here unless you want this... Ruined my irreplaceable banded pintail and won't return all of my $200 deposit. I hope fish and wildlife pay him a visit. Anyone that operates a business like this is bound to have violations in their book keeping and wild game inventory. read more

I found Wingrove Taxidermy after doing a search for taxidermists in the area. While I admit the modest garage shop Bryan has had me a tad concerned. But after reviewing his work and then getting my own boar hide back, ALL my concerns were slayed better than the boar's hide I brought in! Bryan is an excellent taxidermist and does incredible work! I'm super impressed with his work and will, without question or hesitation, bring the remains of my next trophy to him! Grade A, Top notch work! read more

I would advise to steer clear of this business and this man. I agree with all the negative reviews. At the age of 12, my son shot his first Pintail (2015). We were not familiar with any (local) taxidermist and in doing a search came across, Wingrove Taxidermy. The price was right and his work looked good but that was all a front. After giving our $200 deposit, him letting us know that it's about a year turnaround time and please don't call in the meantime...he will call us. Thought that was kind of odd but OK, we can wait as there are more ducks to shoot in the year. Fast forward over a year since dropping it off, no contact from Bryan. After about a year and a half, my husband said give him a call or text him. Called and received a call back saying that he had gotten a little bit behind but was still working on it, and appreciated my patience. Being the person I am, I know life gets busy, so I said all right. That was the biggest mistake because I didn't hear back from him until I reached out of February 2017. Once again, he was apologizing and said that he would give me back the bird (which was skinned) and refund my deposit. After seeing the way one customers bird came back, I said no way. Figure it out. He then referred me another taxidermist up in Klamath Falls. I was going to get the guys number and he ended up contacting him for me. The gentleman came down and picked up my bird and was working on it in April, finishing it in August. That's five months compared to the almost 2.5 years that I've not had it. All Bryan then had to do was put the finishing touches on it and he assured me it would be two weeks. That turned into a month. Finally today my husband went to go pick up the bird and it was with an argument from Bryan. SERIOUSLY!? Bryan pursued another career and put his taxidermy on the back burner. That's not my fault. You should've made right Bryan and just let my husband and my son take away the bird. After all, you'll never hear from us ever again! This whole ordeal was 2 years 7 months!! Oh and the finishing touches was the Cattails...zip tied to the mount! Now we have to make the "finishing touches" ourselves. Smh! read more

Got a chance to visit Bryan again to drop off yet another beauty... But my worse fears have been realized... HES GOTTEN TOO MUCH BUSINESS NOW!!! But like letting a fine wine breathe, or your favorite beer of choice get to its optimal frostiness in the fridge, your patience is always rewarded. Always a pleasure to swap stories with Bryan, he remembers his clients like no other and works his tail off. I can't wait to pick up another mount from Wingrove Taxidermy, it's going to take some time, but its not like its going anywhere, haha. Bryan dropped off my Navajo -Churro ram's skull. Beautifully presented. Sheep have horns, not antlers, so the processing is more involved and costs more. Absolutely first rate bleaching and preservation of the horns. I can't say you'll get door to door pickup and delivery like I did, but you should be well satisfied with the results. Dropped off several African skulls that had I put off from a trip in the 90s and my 40 year old Rooster Pheasant mount that I had broken the tail off of in college and let gather dust to have fixed. Initially Bryan thought it would take a year to get them all done because of his backlog, but happily he did it in a much shorter time frame. He had to reconstruct some of the African mount's horns as they had decayed, and he did a wonderful job there, and my Pheasant looks great! Thanks Bryan! read more

Wingrove Taxidermy is the best!!! My dad had a pair of antlers that had been very poorly mounted many years ago and as long as I can remember my dad has wanted to have them remounted. I called Bryan two weeks before Christmas and he was able to do a rush job and have it ready for Christmas! He is definitely a master of his craft! I assumed they were antlers from a hunt my dad went on as a kid, but it turned out they were from the first hunt my grandpa went on after he married my grandma. My dad was extremely touched by the care and artistry that went into mounting them. Bryan is a joy to work with and makes you feel at ease right away. I'm not a hunter and had no idea what to ask for when it came to putting together a good mount, but Bryan helped me pick something beautiful that really did the antlers justice. He is also extremely flexible and accommodating when it comes to dropping off and picking your piece. Could not agree more with the other reviews. Bryan does amazing work. Got my first boar and Bryan did a European mount. He finished the work prior to his estimated delivery quote. When I picked it up, it was far better than I could have imagined. My wife is a vegetarian and not that big into dead animals mounted on walls. I thought I was going to have to bring it to my office. She liked it so much it is hanging in our house above the front door. Bryan is very nice and does outstanding work. I highly recommend him for any of your Taxidermy needs. read more

Do not use Bryan at Wingrove Taxidermy! I met with Bryan almost 2 years ago so he could take care of my Canvasback Duck. He let me know it would take a year for him to finish it. I said okay and gave him half the money upfront and my duck. It has now been almost 2 years and I have not heard a word from Bryan. Not even an update. When you call his phone number he does not pick up and his answering machine just says how busy he is and expect your finished product in another 6 months. Well I waited another 6 months and his answering machine says the same thing. He has not responded to any texts or calls to even give me an estimated date. I asked for my money and duck back and of course he still did not reply. Whether he truly is that busy or he is a conman is beyond me at this point but either way this is not how a business should be run. I don't even care about the money I just want my Canvasback back as it was a gorgeous duck and the memories of getting it are what I want back. Do not use Bryan at Wingrove Taxidermy! read more
