Every now and then you want some good wings. So I used good old Yelp to find some near me. Wings 101 had good reviews so called in my order based on a combination of what I like and what had great reviews. Half lemon pepper wings half hot honey with house fried rice. When I arrived I paid with my debit card and was handed a cup since the drink fountain is off to the right of the cash register. I tried the peach drink and mixed it with a little bit of sprite; not bad at all. I got my god and headed out. My wings were well sauced, but weren't crispy. This was also the only time I've ever had wet lemon pepper wings; I love lemon pepper. I would probably try a different flavor next time and ask that they fry the wing hard next time. The house rice was great!! If I was in the area I would stop by just for the rice. The restaurant seemed pretty clean for the few minutes I was inside for my carry out order. I stopped by after work yesterday. Was really craving some wings. I got the 10 piece hot combo with plain fried rice. I went in with intentions of getting fries but everyone else's reviews said the fried rice was pretty good so I opted for that. The hot wings weren't really HOT but they had food flavor. And you all were right, the rice was good. Especially considering they're a wing spot. They give you a LOT of food. I definitely had enough to save for the next day. I've been here way too many times in the past 6 months. I don't venture too far outside of the basics: wings and fried rice. The wings can vary in size, but they are always awesome. The fried rice is so, so good. They have 5 different types: vegetable, chicken, beef, shrimp, house (mix of all of the above). My favorite is the beef fried rice. I haven't tried the rest of the menu simply because when I go there I'm craving wings. My father-in-law was in town for a couple months visiting and I took him here. Amazing wings ! Came here for lunch on Sunday craving some wings while in the Lindbergh area of Atlanta and this place is one of the few wings spots that even open on Sunday so I had to give it a try and BOY was I pleased. I went with the "101 special " that comes with 10 piece wing entree with choice of fried rice with the option to upgrade to house special fried rice for an extra charge. This came out to a little over $13 which is a pretty hefty bill, but it was so worth it. You also get a fountain drink in which I opted for peach lemonade instead which was quite tasty. The food is all made to order , so it took about 10 minutes to be ready. They don't have the biggest wings in the world but their flavors are truly where they shine. I opted for honey garlic wings and mixed with buffalo for no additional cost. Best choice I could have made because these wings were amazing. Hot, wet, and fresh out the fryer, I took no prisoners as I devoured all 10 oft wings. The house special is also a winner , choc full of all the protein fixings and accompanied with vegetables that were tasty and I surely appreciated the hefty portion; I had to save some for later because I couldn't finish it in one sitting ! This is a must visit for all my wing lovers out there in the buckhead area who don't mind paying a little more for some quality wings and fried rice. I will most definitely be back ;) read more

Okay. So, let me start by saying I would give this place 0 stars if I could!!! Customer service suck & food was not that good... I had a turkey burger with fried rice... Rice was good, but burger had no flavor... so that was a thumbs down! Even if I wanted to give A STAR it's like I can't because of the customer service... we got there around 9:40ish. They closed at 10... that's 20min to eat... We are sitting, eating, was like 9:50... the guy walks up & says sorry we are closed telling us we had to leave... First off it's not even 10 yet, & dang, can we atleast finish our food!!! I have been in MANY food spots & they will wait until your finished, they won't just put you out! Like seriously! My 5yr old is like why can't we eat, why do we have to leave... still, wasn't even 10yet! We ended up sitting outside in the car finishing our meal! Customer service is EVERYTHING to me! If they would have atleast let us finish our meal, I would have given 3 stars because of the rice... WILL NOT BE GOING HERE AGAIN. The guy who told us, not asked us to leave because they were closed! I've eaten here a couple of times but today I was very unsatisfied. I asked for medium sauced wings and when I arrived they gave me hot lemon pepper wings. They agreed to remake my order, or so I thought. My "new" wings were made within ONE minute which appeared a little suspect. Also they gave me literally two little scoops of rice for 15 wings. I could barely split the rice with my other half. When I got home the wings were hard as hell and the rice was just OK. Not sure if I'll be returning after this experience. read more

I really use to like this place, but the skinny guy with the flipped hair (flipped in front) is just beside himself. I frequent this place at least twice a week because I get my haircut across the street. I would have never expected to receive the type of services that I got today. The lady at the front desk who is taking orders is clearly upset because her unemployment ran out and now she has to return back to work. This area is becoming infested with poor services and it has proven itself today at this establishment. I should be able to ask questions about the food without an employee getting an attitude as if I needed to quickly make my order. This place is amazing. It's like a fast food place (very quick service). I had the buffalo wings, shrimp fried rice, and fries. I would recommend ordering a wing/rice combo and get the fries as a side as opposed to the rice on the side (cheaper that way). The wings were so good and crispy. The shrimp fried rice was great. This place is close to our home so we often order take out from here when we are craving wings. After several times of ordering here, I gotta say it is certainly deserving of 4 stars. The portions are generous and they are generous with their sauce (WHICH IS A GREAT THING!). I finally found a wing spot convenient to home after 3 months and I really enjoy it. I usually call my order in ahead of time. I did try the whiting, stay away! On different visits, I have tried medium, hot and hot teriyaki. Medium was hot, just not hot enough, hot was a scorcher they way I like it, but the sauce for hot teriyaki took the cake. It was hotter than hot, but the sweetness was awesome. Not a fan of the "over cooked" fries on a few occassions. I would recommend this place...they represent hot wings very well. I love Wings 101 it's so good. I remember when this spot came to the Buckhead location and it has been packed ever since. I've had the gyros, wings, tenders, fried rice and etc. I've pretty much had everything on the menu at least once. I always get my wings extra crispy tossed in teriyaki sauce. I usually call in and it's ready in about 10-15 mins. Plus it's only $7 for 10 wings. They're not small wings either. They have this peach punch that is so good too. I ordered the lemon pepper/ honey pepper 10 pcs with the house fried rice ($1 dollar upgrade) definitely worth it it was a generous portion and the meal came with a drink, I got the peach tea, which I thought was fairly ok for flavored tea.. order did not take too long so that was awesome. Don't count on these people to get your order right, or even care that it's wrong. We ordered 20 piece honey bbq through doordash. The driver delivered 20 piece DRY WINGS with little cups of sauce on the side. WHO TF orders dry wings?! So we call Wings 101 back, and they argue with us that the order is correct. And when we finally convince them they screwed up, there's no apology or a refund of the doordash fee. Instead they ask us to bring back their sad-ass dry wings to the store to get the correct order.
