The mist offers a welcome relief from the summer heat. The pool area is separate, which makes me wonder why they serve drinks in plastic. If you are beer drinker, you might be disappointed with the very limited selection, while the wine list is better. We visited on a hot day, perfect for a frozen cocktail. I had the Toucan with Camp Viejo Rose, Elderflower, and Absinthe. It wasn't strong at all, but perfectly refreshing. We enjoyed our drinks, snacking on fries and admiring the views, while the mist deliciously caressed our backs. read more

This was a great rooftop happy hour place. My friend got there early and she said the server was really helpful trying to help her find a spot to sit for four of us. I felt like the service was really attentive. We did have our hearts set on one of the appetizers, but they were out of that. We ended up with a pizza and did enjoy that and our drinks. read more

I popped in to this establishment for a drink and rooftop views. The bar area was quaint but you can't enjoy the city views while sitting at the bar. The bartender was nice and made my drink very well. It would be nice if there were happy hour specials as well. All in all, this bar is worth a visit but manage your expectations. read more

Excellent Experience! This review is late (the event I threw there was in June), however the exceptional experience is still at the forefront of my mind. Emily the events (I think that's her role) manager and the 3 bartenders/servers: Joan, Chet, and AB helped my hosting my bestie bday (and secret engagement party) smoothly. This was an event to remember! The cake was beautiful (made by Local Jones baker)--everyone who attended raved about this delicious cake (I have celiac disease so I did not try it). Emily not only stored and brought out everything I purchased to surprise my friend (timed perfectly)--ballon's, treat gift bags, napkins, etc--as I asked. Had been meaning to scope out Rare Bird for a hot minute and ended up checking it off the list during their launch party/pig roast, which was rad! We had a great experience at Rare Bird! We arrived on a Saturday night close to closing so there was plenty of seating. We didn't feel rushed and the bartender was amazing! He was creating a new drink for their menu and let us sample it. He was a very creative, talented mixologist dedicated to making excellent drinks and providing excellent customer service. He let us know he spent much of the day grinding down hibiscus flowers with sugar to make the rim of his new cocktail. Favorite summer spot in Cherry Creek! Rare Bird enhanced their ambiance with new pergola, swings and decorations making for a beautiful setting as you sip delicious cocktails. My husband and I have gone to Rare Bird a few times. We have hung by the pool as well as sat at the bar. The food, drinks and service have been amazing each time we have gone. Skye always goes out of her way to make excellent recommendations and make sure her guests have the best experience possible. This is our new favorite spot to hang out! It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon so you'd think it would be packed. Sat at the bar. Misters above the bar were dripping all over the stools so bad to move around cushions to find a dry one. And then got dripped on as we sat. Had 2 of the same cocktail that were good (pineapple rum and coconut water and something else). I think they were $17 each which is too expensive. Ordered spiced nuts and elote corn. Bartender talked us out if spending $18 on 4 wings thankfully. Nuts weren't fresh and weren't spiced at all. Elote corn was good but served on the cob and hard to share. Wish the menu would have said that. Service was fine but slow. Not worth it. read more

Came here on a Friday mid day. The place was really cute, great view. The food and drinks are terrible. I had the sangria which tasted like sweet and sour cheap margarita with white wine. My husband had something similar to an espresso martini house special drink, more like old coffee with a splash of vodka.
