Went to Buffalo Wings & Rings (Chicago, IL) yesterday and was treated with the worst customer services ever ! Asked to speak to manager and I the worker walked passed me like I was nothing and took another set of customers (nonblack ) and seated the without getting a manager as if I didn't matter didn't want to think of it as a race thing but I seen the difference now a non black person was greeted before me Vs how I was greeted like I was tolerated. I got another workers attention to get the manager . The manager came and she took care of us and began telling me what the person that gave us horrible customer service could of did she just didn't want to . I called in for a order and it was a hour past we was still waiting on our order . I approached the manager and said I don't want to be a headache but I'm getting irritated because we called in a hour ago and we still haven't got our food . She went to ask the rude worker where Our food was and she sat our food to the side and it had been ready and she had us sitting there for noting the manager asked her why would she do that . At that point the worker was playing with me and I told her B***** stop playing with me why would you have us just sitting here waiting on our break . The resturant is about 5 mins from my job by the time I walked into the job I got a call from the restaurant saying we wasn't allowed back there . After we revived extremely poor customer service, a long wait and spent so much money in there you going to tell me we can't come back . I already made up my mind before we left there I was saying goodbye to that place but for you to call and say we can't come back after all they . Y'all have the right one ! This is in Bridgeport so it didn't surprise me but I have been to this restaurant so many times and never received bad service but this one time over shadowed any good in this restaurant they will never get not a penny of my " Black " Money ever again read more

We ate here primarily to use the shuttle service to the Sox game. It would have been nice to know they only run two post-game shuttles, within 30 minutes of the end of the game. As a first (and now last) time customer here, how was I supposed to know they were not going to pick up after fireworks (which happen immediately after the game)? When I called to see where they were, the young lady on the phone was relatively rude and very "oh well" about leaving 6 of us stranded. Two other restaurants that offer shuttles were still picking customers up when we started to walk back to get our vehicles from this place. Great customer service, huh? Will never go back. read more

I was a little hesitant to try it due to some of the reviews but my girlfriend and I had a great experience from the food to the service. Wings were a tad small but we were given an extra one. Burger, fries, and onion rings were great. Our waitress was Jamie and she was terrific! Great attitude and very attentive. This was not my first time visiting this restaurant, I guesss I continue to have hopes for it. The food is a hit or miss. I do suggest the bourbon barbecue medium sauce! Service needs lots of help. I do not know if the restaurant is understaffed, but the service needs to improve. We were seated for ten minutes before a server coming to our table. I'm not quite sure how I feel about this place. It's definitely the food that makes me feel indifferent. Our server was the girl that resembles Selena Gomez so she was pleasant on the eyes. On Tuesdays they offer 79 cent boneless and traditional wings. The traditional wings are waaaay better than the boneless. The boneless wings seemed rubbery. I should of have everything recooked because the food wasn't hot. However, I didn't want to be that customer mid way through the meal to realize I just can't stomach warm food. It's just okay. Came here last night after the white Sox game. The wings was delicious!!! What makes me give this place 5 stars is there customer service. Last night (6/1/18) after both people for my party decided to go home I decided to stay for one more drink. So when I did the side to go home I wanted to call a uber my phone was dead. Bikes a couple of the staff members of the had a charger and one of them directly to their manager Carl. Not only did he charge my phone but he also called me a taxi. And he was very understanding about the situation, I was embarrassed to even a someone for help since I felt stranded. I waited patiently by the front door for a taxi but one never showed up. However my phone was charged enough so I can get home safe.... I really want to say thank you Carl for your hospitality and your great customer service! Ok so the Shake & bake took his show on the road. White Sox action!!Yes the need to watch a real baseball team and consume gallons of overpriced cerveza brought me to the south side..............eff the Cubs! Anyway, we all went to the first game of the doubleheader Monday, of course we had a blast. But being alittle intoxicated at the end of the 1st game we all agreed to stick around for the 2nd game. Of course you cant stay at the Cell and wait around for 3 hours for the 2nd game so............. on to the wing place we went (We scored 4 tickets for the night game Sec 101 for $10.00 a piece of some dude on the street, AWESOME!!!) Oh my, ok So its not the cheapest....................BUT people focus here, there isnt much around the cell and when your craving wings & beer and a place to continue flexing the booze, well this place does just fine. Hell as a matter of fact we had a blast here. We sat out side ordered a burger with fries, a turkey wrap (burrito)with fries, and of course the we ordered the Wings!!! I naturally got the ATOMIC wings.............oh my god!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! they were hot! almost or as hot as atomic from wingstop. But they sure as hell gave me a second wind for the second game. Also pitchers were $7.00 not bad considering that at the game a 16oz is almost that much. They also SHUTTLE you to the game!!! yeah they did! we all packed in the little bus and got shuttled. When we arrived at this establishment the place was almost empty (4/28 @2 pm), yet no one came to greet us or ask for our order (two employees kept walking by but avoided eye contact). After 30 minutes we called a waitress for help. She said okay, walked away and some minutes later took our order. After having our order placed, it took another hour to get our food. Two tables that arrived an hour after we did received their food before we did. When the food finally arrived, the wings were cold and we still didn't have plates or utensils. We had to wave down another waitress just to ask for something to eat with as well as napkins. The food here is good, but the service we received was complete garbage. No one apologized or made an effort to try to make things better. They should just make buying food at the counter an option. I don't see the point of tipping incompetence. read more

The quality of the wings has gone down throughout the years. All the wing flavors pretty much taste the same. The only thing that's exceptionally well is the cherry lemonade they have. Other than that, you're better off going to Bdubs or Wingstop. Actually, just go to Bdubs. read more

I've been here about 5 times over the last 2 years. I always think,"I should give them another chance..." Bad idea every time. Let's review them. 1. Had some wings. Thought they were gross compared to Buffalo Wild Wings. Ate them anyway. Went home. Got a horrible stomach ache. 2. Had some nachos. Yummy. Good service from a friendly waitress who joked around with me and my friends. Went home. Got a stomach ache. 3. Sat at the bar. Had a burger. It was mediocre. No stomach ache. 4. Got seated and waited 20 minutes with no one acknowledging we were even there. Got up and left. Ate sushi across the street at Kawa instead. Note: we were at the table closest to the kitchen where employees passed us lots of times. 5. Went again today because the Italian place we tried to go was closed. Food was mediocre. So much grease dripped out of my quesadilla. Our server never checked on us after bringing our food. My boyfriend and I both had empty water glasses for a long time. We finished and stacked our plates. Waited. Heard the table next to us complain about empty water glasses. They went to ask for the server. Waited. I go to ask for the server because we haven't seen her in 15 minutes. Another employee gets her, and I ask for water, a box, and the check. We wait another 5-6 minutes for water and a box. Their system is down, so they cannot print checks or run credit cards. I ask if she can hand-write our ticket. The table next to us just leaves in frustration. We wait another 5 minutes. We walk up to find our server, and she has a hand written ticket for us, so we pay cash and leave. Computer issues are fine, but ignoring your guests is not. read more

I was really excited to see a new place to eat out open up near us, so was all ready to expect this spot as a regular hangout due to the bar food and loads of sports on TVs - unfortunately it just didn't get it done. I felt like the sauces were pretty boring, probably because I was looking for more adventurous flavors like one would get from Buffalo Wild Wings (which this place is clearly trying to emulate). We got chili cheese fries as well, and they were just plain bad - everything was cold and mushed into one unrecognizable pile of goo. Beer prices weren't too terrible, but that's all I can really say about that place. I might go try it one more time, at dinner rather than lunch, to see if I get better food/service, but I'm not really rushing back to do so. read more

This place is all that is wrong. I don't know how they got the zoning for this place but, I suspect Balcer is beginning to sell the neighborhood right out from under the residents. Me and my boyfriend called and tried to place a pick up order but were told to place the order online that they are not taking phone orders. Mind you it is a Tuesday. Anywho placed the order online which made no sense when it could of been placed way faster if it was a phone order. When it was picked and arrived home we were missing items on our order. Paid for ranch and not just that put paid for an extra side of ranch for $2. Así ordered celery sticks did not receive. Potatoe wedges were not on the order. When I called the lady stated that if I can just come back and pick up the items. I told her yes but this is a in convince because we were already home. When my boyfriend went back for the missing items the lady did not apologize for anything and had an attitude with him and basically threw him the bag. I work in the restaurant industry and the least you can do when you guys were the reason the order is messed up. At least apologize on your restaurants behalf for messing up. Went there today to celebrate my son and his baseball team winning the Championship. They accommodated the whole team and parents. Fast friendly service by our hostess. Food was excellent and affordable. Parking was easy to find in back of building or on street. The Owner, Justin, even came out to congratulate our boys!! I come here from time to time because it is close by; however, the wings here aren't that good. I would considered them average on a good day, but most of the time they aren't good. What made me post this review is the service actually. I normally don't write bad reviews unless there is a good reason for them. My biggest complain is the service. Our server charged us 18% when we only had 5 people even though it clearly states that 18% is only for parties of 6+. I normally tip really well myself, most of the time a minimum of 20%. However, the service was so shitty that she did not deserve even 10% imo. It took her like 15 minutes to get us anything, refill, check, etc. Needless to say, I will try to stay away from this place. read more

I came here for lunch today on my lunch break at work. Some people at my work have had bad experiences, but I figured I would see for myself. Now I see what they were talking about. I will not be coming back. Strike 1: We walked in the door and the hostess was taking someone's carry out order. That's fine. But we stood there for over 5 minutes, waiting to be acknowledged, while she explained the different types of sauces to a take-out customer and a line was forming behind me to be seated. Strike 2: When we were finally seated, the table was dirty. There were crumbs all over the table and seat, along with sticky soda glass rings. She obviously did not look at the table before seating us. I asked for someone to wipe it down, and they did. Strike 3: Service was sub-par. The waitress was pretty indifferent towards everyone. She wasn't mean, but she wasn't pleasant either. When she brought our credit card receipt back after paying the bill, she basically threw it on our table and continued walking away. No thank you. No come again. Strike 3.5: The table next to us complained that they have been waiting 50 minutes for their food. The waitress told them that she is not a cook, she's just a waitress and she cannot cook their food or make the cooks work any faster. Wrong answer. They asked to see a manager, who told them the restaurant was busy (it was not) and there are only 2 cooks in the kitchen. Strike 4: We waited at least 45 minutes for our food (I didn't look at the time until after we ordered). I ordered a cheeseburger with onion rings, my husband ordered boneless wings with o-rings, and my son had the kids pizza with fries. All short order food - nothing crazy. When we finally got our food, IT WAS COLD! At least serve us hot food after making us wait 45 minutes. The sauce on my son's pizza was straight out of the fridge, as it was refrigerator temperature. My food and my husband's food was almost room temperature. Our onion rings were definitely sitting around for awhile. The food was OKAY. My burger was nothing special. My husband did not like his wings. The onion rings would have been good if they were hot. Strike 5: No one ever said, "Goodbye. Thank you." Not our waitress. Not the hostess as we left. FYI the place was NOT busy. There were about 8 tables of people, and no big parties. It was probably about 20-30% full. If service was that bad, I would hate to see how bad it is when the restaurant is full. I will not be going back. read more

this place reminds me of buffalo wild wings. came here with some friends last night for some late night grub. we ordered 15 garlic parmesean extra hot, 10 cajun hot, 5 roasted garlic hot. garlic parmesean was the best. chicken wings are bigger and more meaty than bdubs. buffalo wings and rings drench their chicken wings with the sauce you order. we ordered two sides of celery and it didn't even make the amount of half of one celery stalk per order! super stingy.. we had an order of potatoe wedges with cheese on the side and onion rings. wedges weren't crispy enough, bdubs wedges are so much better! onion rings were good but the sauce that came with it was nasty. everyone ordered bud light bc the special was $2 for a pint. our server was nice and patient. patient i say because the guys we were with kept messing around with her and she was a super good sport about it! :) when the bill came, it wasn't too expensive. a nice chill spot to eat during the weekday with friends. read more

i never have a problem when i go here, im not a regular... but i go at least once a month. i have held tables for bears games and bulls games and the place was packed. but i never got any stares or looks. the waiters are not the best! i can agree with that, and there always seems to be new staff there. maybe they cant hold good people or just bad at hiring horrible people. there are TV's in every direction you look, and most of the time they are on a dif game unless a good game is on or a chicago team is playing. BONELESS are my faves! they are a def bigger than BDUBS, and they are not cheap with the sauce or the ranch! you actually get a good amount. im happy there, and def will be going back! It's a great restaurant, but the wait is crazy had to wait almost 2 hours even tho people were done eating they were just sitting down and the manager knew there was a loooot if people waiting to be seated. I am surprised to see some of the bad reviews after one visit to this place. I am a north sider and let's face it am spoiled when it comes to Wrigleyville. So many places to go before and after a game. I was happy to see a spot where people can grab a few drinks and some food not far from Sox park. The service was really good, our server was very helpful and made sure to check on us just enough though our meal. Sunday special... 4.00 bloody mary's and a few other specials on PBR tall boys ect. The bloody was good because they did not use some ketchup based nasty mix, it was light and spicy! I ordered a side car and the server looked confused, it's Wisconsin thing I guess...anyhoots he was happy to give me a pint of Lite on tap as I requested. The onion rings were really good,you can tell that they are not frozen. We ordered boneless wings in three flavors and some delicious hand cut fries. I was happy that the wings were not battered to heavily .You can choose the level of heat you want per sauce. Overall a good place to catch a game.The manager came over to ask how we enjoyed ourselves and being a manager in the service industry myself I was impressed with the staff and our food was good. The service was pretty good but the food is god awful. I ordered the steak and mushroom quesadilla. One of the greasiest representations of Mexican food i have ever tasted. I dont know what grade meat it was but my suspicion is its out of the freezer and processed. My friend ordered the pecan salad which looked pretty decent except for the meat it was very rubbery, usually a sign of a product cooked when frozen. Save your money go to mcds instead! read more

The manager last night, Justin, is the worst manager I have ever encountered in a restaurant. After waiting around 25 minutes to get our drinks, this guy comes over to the table and does not apologize immediately but instead starts giving us a laundry list of reasons of why we didn't get our drinks in a timely fashion. Seriously? You're going to lay out your ineptness as a manager for the guest and expect that to make us happy. The worst was when he threw the server under the bus and blamed her! If his bosses read this, offer Justin some training on customer service. Guests don't care that the ticket got lost or what you're dealing with regarding another guest that make them "the priority" (this guy was that insulting), you apologize and make the situation better, end of story. read more

I love Buffallo Wings & Rings. It's my favorite place to hang out with my buddy when I'm in Bridgeport. There are screens everywhere to watch whatever game is playing. The appetizers are a bit pricey but they are worth it. Love the quesadillas and the mozzeralla sticks. They have really good wraps and the wings are good too. The waitresses are all really cute. Great place. That shuttle service they have is awesome; I took the shuttle after a Sox game last season. read more
