i live south of bridgeport and was excited to check it out. the place is cool, staff is great but the wings were horrible. they were dry and barely sauced. compared to bw3's and hooters or any other place that has wings, they were just breaded chicken with some sauce. if they fix that, i would recommend going there. didn't drink but seen they had good beer specials. read more

A few of my buddies and I came in on a Saturday night. I have ordered delivery from here before but it was my first time dinning. It was pretty busy because the Bulls game was going on. We actually came in to watch the second half of the game here. It is a nice large sports bar in Bridgeport with a little BW3 feel to it. My buddies and I had a good server which I believe his name was Joe. Very cool dude. I rarely come across to a server who actually looks like he is enjoying his job. He was very attentive by making sure we weren't thirsty and swung by a few times while we were eating to see if he could get us anything else. When we asked him if we could order the 50 wings in different flavors, I never seen a guy so excited to explain to us how we can order wings before! No joke. He seemed like he had a good relationship with the tables he was serving as he was passing by them giving high-fives every good Bulls play. The wings here were pretty good. I am not going to let one HORRIBLE experience control my rating of this joint. I've been here a dozen times and here is a wrap up: food is good. Portions are great. They have awesome specials and lots of t.v screens. You can always count on them to turn to a game or fight if you request it. The SERVICE IS A TOSS UP!!! My party of 4 once waited AN HOUR for buffalo wings, a salad , and an order of quesadillas. The place was packed, had we been given a head's up about the wait it wouldn't have been an issue but instead our waitress was avoiding us at all cost! I expressed my displeasure after I went and found her on the floor and then she POINTED me in the direction of her manager who was cooking. He made me wait ten minutes to hear my complaint and said he would rush my order out. When the waitress served us she said that the manager would be over to apologize. He never came. After we paid the check I approached him again! He told me that he WAS going to give us a discount but we had already paid for the check. I'm going to start off by saying there food is very delicious. However, my rating is justified by their terrible customer service. Specifically, a young Latino male that works there (Forgot his name). I have never been to a restaurant where I was mistreated worse than here. I went in with my brother and sister, both in the restaurant business and was taken care of by this employee. We sat at our table for about 20 minutes without him coming and greeting us. I had a few questions about the menu, he was rude and answered my questions with yes or no. My sister ordered some appetizers and they came out cold (unusual, cause they do a good job with the food) and we told him. He did not say anything, grabbed the plate and left. He brought out a new plate minutes later....again did not say anything. Never came to check on us, did not even bother to refill our drinks. When a young couple sat at the table next two us, literally two minutes later he said "sorry for the wait, welcome". My mouth dropped in disbelief. First off this place is freaking delicious I don't know why its getting some bad reviews. I found this little gem while out with a friend trying to find somewhere to eat, this was about 2 years ago ever since then no more buffalo wild wings. Every one of my friends has loved this place even my girlfriend. Granted that there aren't as many flavors as bww but nonetheless these wings are delicious. Yes this is a sports bar and a little loud but many families come here as well. I have only.tried one burger which was the cheeseburger with 3 chicken strips which was also good. Ther service is awesome every time we been there its been great not to much service nor too little. Our drinks were filled every time it got too critically low. Far as wings go, you can order them extra wet which means they will come swimming in sauce that you choose perfect for fries to be dunked in and the level of hotness which you can choose. For the last person who wrote their review, I'm sorry but not everything here is overpriced. For instance, Every single Monday , Kids eat FREE. Also, on wednesdays, there is a .99 cents unlimited amount you would like to order, boneless chicken tenders. Or was that Thursday? I think Thursday it's .49 cent unlimited amount order of chicken wings. So that doesn't sound too bad at all. Plus, like the last reviewer said, there is FREE shuttle service from the game to the restaurant. So let's see, FREE Shuttle service, FREE food for kids on Mondays, . 49 cent, and .99 cent deals two days out of the week. So far that doesn't sound over priced to me. Besides that, it's spacious, and it has alot of screens to watch the local games or other sports events. The beer isn't really that over priced too. They have some video games for the kids or other guests. There is a citibank right outside. Nice outdoor patio tables for people wishing to dine outside, and since I have a kid, I take advantage of the free kids meal on Mondays. They always have some crayons for him. This was one of the worst dining experiences I've had in a long time. To start, we waited over ten minutes to get a waitress and when she did finnally come, she immediately apologized for taking so long to address us. Not because she was so busy or the place was crowded (there was less than 15 customers dining) but because she was confused. After her extended apology, talking extremely fast, she took our order and offerred me a pint of beer which was the $3 special. She ended up bringing me a 12 oz. cup of beer to which I never said anything about because I wanted to avoid a long, rapid explanation that I wouldn't be able to understand. Once the wings came, she took it upon herself to see that the lemon pepper wings didn't have enough seasoning on them and after over 5 minutes she brought them back and they were terribly salty. The other food was simply mediocre. We sat for over 20 minutes with empty dishes in front of us until she returned and asked for split checks since we had seperate tables and she said she would have to get a manager. After an additional 10 minutes she came back with one check and said she couldn't split the checks, so we asked for the manager and she said he's busy in his office and slammed the check on our table. I finally got the manager who was standing in front of the place and I was explaining how the service and food was not to my satisfaction and he immediately accussed me of "making fun of his server". Bottom line, save your money and patience because Buffalo Wings & Rings will make you regret you ever went. read more

I was waiting to be sited for 20 minutes due the cubs game. People that came in after me were sited 5 minutes of waiting time. I told to the manger about this problem and he didn't do anything about it. I also asked the one who was siting everyone down on how they go to sit before me and her answer was there was a table for there group in a section that the waitress was in. They got sited before me because someone in there group knew or was dating the waitress. I go there so many times a month and my bill is over $100 buck. to be treated that way is not right. So I have been going to this place since day one. I really like to place a whole lot and can't wait for football with all the t.v.s However the one thing that I can't seem to get over is how inexperienced the bar staff is. It's like none of them have ever been behind a bar before. To be fair I should let you know I've managed bars and restaurants all my life. I have tried to sit at the bar several times to enjoy myself but the girls back there are slow and have no personality. The one girl who seems to know whats she's doing is just rude to everyone she comes in contact with. The guys seem to have a better understanding but not sure if they've ever bar-tended anything other then a Bridgeport beer bar. It's very apparent that all the bar staff is friends with the owners because only "there" friends get the great attention that should automatically go out to everyone. it seems that when the owners friends are at the bar (which is everyday apparently) nobody else can really enjoy themselves. I went with some friends the other day and there were only 2 other people at the bar with 2 bartenders and it still took 10minutes for someone to get our drinks. The food is mediocre at best. Fast food that takes way too long to get out. The serving staff is really nice. They all seem to get along really well. I observed several team mates helping each other out several times. I think for now on I will just sit at a bar table. They seem to have more experience then the bar staff. The drink specials are really good when they have them. I'm not sure what that's about. I realize it's only been open 2wks but really the managers need to take control of there place and figure out what they need to fix quick before they don't get anymore"understanding" people. I went to this place the first time to watch a playoff game and was amazed by how nice it was inside. It has great specials and a friendly staff. I liked that you were greeted at the door and then shown to your table. They also have trivia and poker which was another bonus. The food was great. We stopped in pre-Sox vs. Dodgers on Wednesday. We arrived at about 5:45 and the place was about 50% occupied. It has a clean, new feeling, but the service was really slow especially considering the small crowd. The server came by after about fifteen minutes and took our drink order. They were advertising a "Marker's Mark Mint" and I asked the server what it was exactly and he didn't really know - ok, fine - I ordered it anyway because I felt like having a bourbon, and what arrived was bourbon...I didn't taste any mint - still fine, no big deal. Two of the other people who were with me ordered Stoli drinks...they were out of Stoli - ok, fine - they ordered a different vodka. My wife asked about one of the featured beers, and the name escapes me right now, but she asked the server about the beer, he replied, "It's Blue Moon." It wasn't Blue Moon, but it was a belgian-style white ale...which sucked...ok, fine, not his fault the beer sucked. Then we ordered food...two dishes...25 count boneless wings and gyros quesadilla (because it sounded interesting). We ordered more drinks in the time that it took for the food to arrive. The food runner delivered the food. We didn't have any utensils or napkins. We asked the runner for the set-ups and she balked and said that she would have to get our server...huh? Just bring 4 napkins and 4 forks, it's not like there was a packed house. The quesadillas were prepared and constructed fine, but they didn't have a real definitive gyros taste, even the yogurt/cucumber sauce was bland. The boneless wings were served in bowl and the sauce barely covered the pieces of fried chicken. It was like the sauce was quickly sprayed over the pile. The wings on the bottom had no sauce at all. There were no typical wing accompaniments such as blue cheese or vegetables. There isn't much on that stretch of Halsted Street and that will be their saving grace, because it won't be the food or the service. I checked the website after the visit and noticed that it is a chain with "franchise opportunities" posted boldly - thinking fast growth plan. Do yourself a favor and visit one of Bridgeport's other establishments. As is the case in most Chicago neighborhoods - skip the chains. read more

This is a good place to go to to grab a few beers and have some bar food. So if that's what you are looking to do, then you are fine. But if you are looking for a spectacular experience you may be a little disappointed. The service is so so and the crowd can get a little ghetto sometimes. They have the biggest, juiciest, and most flavorful boneless wings I have ever had. The prices are reasonable and they have great drink specials. The $5 Patron shots are my favorite. It's also a great place for sports fans. Plenty of HD TV's to view all the major sporting events of the day. They also offer FREE parking, FREE valet, and FREE shuttle service to and from the Cell. I come here probably once a week with my fiance. It's the only restaurant around that's open late. I love their traditional wings, and the boneless are pretty good too. I'm just not a big fan of boneless wings regardless of the place. The traditional rings are definitely better than BWs; I like the way you can pick the sauce flavor and intensity. My favorite is the garlic Parmesan medium. They have the best dessert too. I can't remember what it's called, but it's fried cheesecake served with raspberry sauce and ice cream, you've got to try it next time, and it's only $4.99. They used to have a banana dessert, I was a little upset to hear that they got rid of it, but I don't get desert here too often. Some of the waitresses are a little distant, and you can tell that they get overwhelmed on game days, but Dolly and Stephanie are my favorite (and not because one of them has the same name as me)! read more

I been here a handful of times, the only reason I gave it two stars is because of the waitstaff they're fine. Bartenders are more like beer tenders, with a very basic beer list. If you want good beer you find it here, mostly miller & bud products there. I once order a Blue cheese burger, mistake, when it came out I got a well done choice grade burger with blue cheese salad dressing on it. They told me that's the way they make it. There is better food across the street at hot dog stand. The only reason I go to this place sometimes is for a pit stop from my walk to Sox games and grab myself a vodka, tonic.
