Stopped in for a quick beer and appetizer after shopping. Got the beer no problem. Ordered the wings -- but noticed the server "tip-teasing" the guys next to us. Other parties came in, ordered, and got their food well before we did. Our beers almost gone (and we almost never have two), we cancelled the appetizer order. The server really looked busy, but in fact she spent much of her time talking with friends and, as I say, "tip teasing" the other guys. This was a great experience. We are on a 200 mile relay race and had a few hours before we were due up to run again. We showed up at 10:55 and they close at 11. My wife, daughter and I went for lunch on a Thursday. No wait at all and we were greeted and seated by a friendly employee. Our waitress was very friendly and took her time to explain everything to us and answer all our questions. This was our first time eating at this establishment. The wings were good but I will choose a different sauce next time. You are able to sample the sauces if you ask. I really like the blue cheese dip. The cheese covered fries are good. The sampler appetizer is tasty, the marinara sauce with the mozzarella cheese sticks is excellent. I really liked the onion rings. My daughter loved the fried pickles. Kids eat free on Mondays. Picked up a to go order and the girl taking care of take out was not helpful. If carry out is a issue then don't offer it. The office that called in the order said that she was disrespectful and was incoherent over the phone. When I picked up the food, I asked for a drink to go and she said well you'll have to pay for it. Well! Okay! Then she proceeded to say I would be better off getting a drink somewhere else. The only thing good about this place is the service. Mother's Day Brunch was a joke. The BBQ chicken looked as if it had been boiled and the sauce poured over, not baked at all. My husband can eat about anything and he said it was awful. The beef tips had no flavor whatsoever and the meat was tough. The herb roasted potatoes were uncooked. The vegetable medley was overcooked and not seasoned at all, like watered smush, if there ever was such a thing. They had some kind of mini waffles and they were so hard it almost flew off my plate so I had to use a knife to cut it. The bacon was so undercooked it looked dangerous to eat. I did find a piece that was cooked but the flavor was awful. My daughter took a bite of it and her remark is not worth repeating. The turkey was dried out and had that left over flavor. The fresh fruit was good and beautifully arranged on the platter. After a few bites my group paid the bill, left and went to another restaurant to eat. I had the Thai chili boneless wings and they were great. My husband had the honey bbq and really enjoyed them. We visited the first time during the Kansas/UK game so service was pretty slow due to the crowd. We followed this visit a few days later by taking our 3 kids to dinner here. This was our first time dining in at Wings & Rings since they opened in Danville. We've ordered carry out once before, but it's just not the same when you get your food hot and fresh from the kitchen. This place is catered to the game-watching crowd. No matter where you sit, you can see large TVs in every direction. We were seated right away even though there was 5 in our party and they were pretty busy. Our server was very friendly. It did take awhile to get our food, but again they were busy, and we weren't in a hurry, so it wasn't a major deal. Pro tip for parents with hungry toddlers.. pack a snack that will keep them satisfied while waiting! We had pretzel bites for an appetizer. That came with a queso-salsa combination dipping sauce witch was fabulous! The pretzels had a nice light crunch on the outside and were perfectly soft and chewy on the inside. When our food arrived, the order was correct and hot, and everything was thoroughly enjoyed. By the way.. their blue cheese is OUT.OF.THIS.WORLD!!! It's extra thick and creamy and deliciously milder than any blue cheese I've ever had. Also, the garlic parmesan fries are amazing. Get those! When deciding between eating here and the steakhouse next door, we went here on two factors; 1. We hadn't eaten inside BW&R and 2. We were trying to keep cost down. Well... as it turns out, for 3 adult meals, 2 kids meals, an appetizer and one beer the total (after tip) came to $90. Not necessarily what I expected for a chicken wing meal, and needless to say we really didn't save much. There are some pros and cons but we left full, and satisfied with our meal and service. Do not go here if you are vegetarian, vegan, or have allergies!! The food is subpar but i have had several waitresses who had no idea what foods had what allergens in them and tried to serve me (someone who was vegan, with milk allergy) ranch and sauces with dairy/eggs in them. I have ordered DoorDash from here twice in the last month-- and I've been highly impressed. I typically order 5 medium Buffalo wings and a cheeseburger. My wings have been very crispy and my burger has been hot and delicious! I appreciate the option to choose between drums or flats for the wings (I order flats). The celery that came with the wings was cold and crunchy, and tasted excellent! The packaging I received keeps the food very hot and there is an ample amount of ketchup, ranch, and mayonnaise packets. In my latest DoorDash experience, I received the wrong order. It was quickly sorted out by a friendly staff member (Sophia) who, when she delivered the correct meal, included a hand-written note apologizing for the incorrect order. She went the extra mile to make sure I was happy, even asking me if I wanted a free drink. This left a strong positive impression on me and I'm sure I'll be back soon. read more

I went to BWR for the first time today and was very pleased with my experience. My grandson daughter and I had a very good time . Our server Hailey was very attentive and got everything right. This is my second visit here. We were not impressed on the first visit, but were certainly turned off by this one. To start, we are seated at a table that had not been cleaned. The hostess wiped it down before we sat but after we sat it was sticky and mucky. Then she makes the comment "let me get a real rag to wash it" and wipes it down again. The seats were dirty as was under the table. There were also crayons left behind and the hostess never wiped off the napkin dispenser. The waitress did not wear her mask covering her mouth or nose. I asked for a small bowl with lemons on the side for my water, instead she just hung 5 lemon slices on the rim of the glass. (Not a big deal but frustrating nonetheless as a specified what I wanted). I ordered my kid grilled tenders but the brought out regular (also not a massive deal, my kid ate them, but it adds to the point). Mine and my child's broccoli was brought out slightly warm (not cooked, just slightly warmed). And it was brown. The waitress tried to play it off that she didn't know what broccoli was supposed to look like because she didn't eat broccoli. I would think if you work in an establishment that serves the food then you should be knowledgeable about what you serve. We also heard someone in the back arguing with her that nothing was wrong with it. My child got "bacon Mac and cheese" (to quote the server) as a replacement. It was generic Kraft Macaroni. I don't take my kids out to eat for them to get generic Kraft Mac and Cheese. And finally, I ordered boneless wings and requested my sauce on the side. I was charged an extra $0.50 because I got the sauce on the side and not poured over the wings. Like...what? Anyways. Probably won't be going back. The lack of cleanliness and the waitress not wearing a mask over her mouth and nose kind of turned me off completely. read more

My friends and I are still sitting here talking as we eat at another restaurant so I'd figured I'd give a review. One of the worst, and just oddest, experiences I've ever had in my life. Right when we walked in to this restaurant, there was a group of 4 hosts and servers crowded around the host station. I assumed there was an issue with the seating system or something, because they seemed focused on figuring it out. We were greeted and promptly sat to a table. It was just after 4:00 so there were some people there but it wasn't very crowded, and there were definitely a lot of staff around. The hostess (maybe?) gave us menus and disappeared, and we just sat and talked for awhile. And we continued sitting. And servers walked past. And other servers walked past. It was a really long time. And finally, the same girl who gave us our menus came by and asked what drinks we wanted. She didn't introduce herself or apologize for the wait or say she was a server/our server or anything, or explain anything at all, she just asked what drinks we wanted. She came back with waters quickly which was great, and then she spilled them, which of course is alright because no one means to do that. No big deal. She cleaned it up and then brought new ones, and then just disappeared again. So we waited and waited. And waited. And more servers walked by. And the LiTeRaL manager walked by. And at the 40ish(?) minute mark we decided we would go somewhere else. On the bright side, all the staff that we passed on the way out made sure to give us joyful "Thank you! It's a good thing they have 50+ T.V.'s as I was able to enjoy an entire ballgame before I was able to finally experience their "buffalo wings". A long wait to be seated before waiting through a 50 minute "experience" of guests seated after our party getting their food first, drinks waiting to be refilled and on top of that receiving the complete wrong order of wings. My reorder ticket went from a promise of a 3-4 minute wait to a 20 minute wait. The waitress was very, very slow to a resolution along with sorry excuses from the "manager". Luckily, they comped my ticket and kindly offered tickets of free wings for the table and told to give them a second chance.
