My wife and I been going to Roosters since 2001, and when we moved to Powell in 2020, the Sawmill Road location quickly became our go-to restaurant. One of the things we love most is the variety of food. Whether we're in the mood for wings, a salad, a wrap, or a sandwich, there's always something great on the menu. The prices are also very reasonable, making it a place we can enjoy regularly. What truly sets Roosters apart, though, is the people. I'm always amazed by the longevity of their employees. In fact, two of the servers we knew back in 2001 have gone on to become managers at other Roosters locations. That says a lot about the company and how they treat their team. The staff at the Sawmill Road location has become like family to us. They're always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to make every visit a great experience. You can tell they enjoy what they do, and that starts with great leadership. General Manager Randi has created a positive atmosphere, and it shows every time we visit. I often tell people that if I were 30 years younger and looking to build a business, I'd open a Roosters franchise. In my opinion, it's one of the best-run restaurant concepts I've ever experienced. I've known the manager Randi and her assistant Philly for years, and no matter what location they're a part of they know how to create a staff and synergy that's infectious and innovative. Along with people like Susie and Noel and Autumn just name a few are also great amazing servers. Regardless of how busy this location gets they know how to handle traffic, they know how to handle multiple types of personalities no matter what gets thrown at them. The food is consistent. An affordable . . Still waiting for the day they have $1,000 dressing. They tried to make different changes with the menu so their periodically will do a test menu. So it shows that they're trying to constantly be innovative with their food options my quick suggestion is not to put banon in the potato salad. Many people feel safe at this location a great place to see the game I'm very happy that they put the main games on sound if you ask. A great place to see football games such as Browns and Bengals.and also Blue jacket games a lot of local fandom around this place. We LOVE Roosters and eat it weekly. The menu has fantastic fried apps, fried wings, subs, wraps and soups that is all delicious BUT they also offer salads and plenty of grilled chicken options. My favorite thing to order us a grilled chicken sandwhich customized for no bun, extra lettuce, onion, cheese, and mushroom. I eat it like an entree. Hubby gets 5 traditional wings every time. Roosters wings are large and come with your choice of sauce. The beer is cold and the bar usually has a great special on the beer if the month. Roosters is great for groups and all ages. Server was on the ball & tried to get to know you even though it was packed on a Valentines Sat. night. Tons of TVs & pretty clean dining & restrooms. The prices were really reasonable for the portions. We split a pizza as an appetizer: 9" $10. Pretty good. My cheeseburger w/ the works was only $5.50. They gave lotsa toppings & the flavor was just right. The chili w/ cheese & onions was big & real tasty at only $4 and not too spicy. The side salad was really large w/ lotsa toppings too! 09/08/2025 - I have never been here before and came here as I was traveling for work in Ohio and my hotel was next door. My server was Serenity and she was very pleasant and so nice. I placed my order and litterly had my food in less that 10min and it was fresh and very good . I review this place basically once a year and it is always the same. It always delivers exactly what I am seeking from a wing place. The pretzel is excellent, the curly fries, excellent, wings always great (donkey sauce for me), the grilled chicken sandwich is excellent and my wife loves it with the medium and hot buffalo sauce. I even had the minestrone soup of the day today and it was excellent. The consistency is impressive. The service was excellent and almost always is. Absolute must-try if you're in the Columbus area. There's a few different locations but the Sawmill one is the best. Their fryers taste like they're cleaned daily. The wings are top tier, they're more expensive than they use to be but they're 75 cents on Mondays which makes them perfect priced. The vibes are laid back and it's a good place to watch football and drink beer. The service is always good too because they definitely overstaff so you're never waiting too long. I was asked how I wanted my burger done and I requested medium. There was no pink in my burger. Don't ask if you're not going to follow. Burger was not bad, just OK. We learned a couple of years ago that Roosters offers fresher and improved chicken options that its competitors (BW#). Although they do not have delivery or subscribe to Drrdash, their carryout is always accurate and timely. We prefer carryout from Roosters, but have eaten in this location several times with great service and equal quality. The Dublin location is hard to get to (tucked behind the Olive Garden) and parking lot is always full. If you haven't been to any of the Columbus roosters locations then you are really missing out. They have so many options on food that you can choose from. Our table really wanted wings and the Carolina Gold is possibly the best sauce they have. I got 5 traditional wings with celery and ranch and they were totally delicious as always.
