I've known the manager Randi and her assistant Philly for years, and no matter what location they're a part of they know how to create a staff and synergy that's infectious and innovative. Along with people like Susie and Noel and Autumn just name a few are also great amazing servers. Regardless of how busy this location gets they know how to handle traffic, they know how to handle multiple types of personalities no matter what gets thrown at them. The food is consistent. An affordable . . Still waiting for the day they have $1,000 dressing. They tried to make different changes with the menu so their periodically will do a test menu. So it shows that they're trying to constantly be innovative with their food options my quick suggestion is not to put banon in the potato salad. Many people feel safe at this location a great place to see the game I'm very happy that they put the main games on sound if you ask. A great place to see football games such as Browns and Bengals.and also Blue jacket games a lot of local fandom around this place. We LOVE Roosters and eat it weekly. The menu has fantastic fried apps, fried wings, subs, wraps and soups that is all delicious BUT they also offer salads and plenty of grilled chicken options. My favorite thing to order us a grilled chicken sandwhich customized for no bun, extra lettuce, onion, cheese, and mushroom. I eat it like an entree. Hubby gets 5 traditional wings every time. Roosters wings are large and come with your choice of sauce. The beer is cold and the bar usually has a great special on the beer if the month. Roosters is great for groups and all ages. I review this place basically once a year and it is always the same. It always delivers exactly what I am seeking from a wing place. The pretzel is excellent, the curly fries, excellent, wings always great (donkey sauce for me), the grilled chicken sandwich is excellent and my wife loves it with the medium and hot buffalo sauce. 09/08/2025 - I have never been here before and came here as I was traveling for work in Ohio and my hotel was next door. My server was Serenity and she was very pleasant and so nice. I placed my order and litterly had my food in less that 10min and it was fresh and very good . Absolute must-try if you're in the Columbus area. There's a few different locations but the Sawmill one is the best. Their fryers taste like they're cleaned daily. The wings are top tier, they're more expensive than they use to be but they're 75 cents on Mondays which makes them perfect priced. The vibes are laid back and it's a good place to watch football and drink beer. The service is always good too because they definitely overstaff so you're never waiting too long. We learned a couple of years ago that Roosters offers fresher and improved chicken options that its competitors (BW#). Although they do not have delivery or subscribe to Drrdash, their carryout is always accurate and timely. We prefer carryout from Roosters, but have eaten in this location several times with great service and equal quality. The Dublin location is hard to get to (tucked behind the Olive Garden) and parking lot is always full. Had a great experience last night at Roosters off sawmill road but boy was it packed for 8 pm on a Thursday night. It took us about 10 minutes to be seated which is not bad at all. If you haven't been to any of the Columbus roosters locations then you are really missing out. They have so many options on food that you can choose from. I will start by saying. I have not been to a Roosters in more than 5 years and likely won't be back. This chain has lost "that customer friendly" something they had on W Broad St. We stopped by the Sawmill location tonight (a Saturday) with the family (6 of us) at 6:30p, place was packed and we were seated within 30mins (not bad for a Saturday dinner rush). Connor B was our server, he was friendly & attentive with the drinks and appetizers. The food came out about 15mins later after we ordered and delivered by a young lady whose demeanor was nice but had the undertone of slightly annoyed that she couldn't get our plates on the table any faster than she did which was quick but seemed unnecessarily rushed (but I get it they were busy) she promptly left without asking if everything looked correct. (This is the point where the evening took a nose dive for me) What I ordered was the Cajun Chicken sandwich (menu describes the sandwich as coming with cajun chicken filet, jalapeños, pepper-jack cheese topped off with ranch sauce.) Connor asked if I like to add lettuce and tomato, I said sure. The young lady delivered to me an open face sandwich, with a seasoned grilled chicken filet on a bottom dry bun and a pile of shedded lettuce on the top half of a dry bun, normally this would not be a problem because a more experienced or better trained server would have stopped by shortly after the food was delivered to check in on us, BUT THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I did not see Connor again for the next 20 mins or so. My wife who was sitting across from me, waved to Connor who was working booths behind me, 4 different times during that 20 mins but did not get his attention. Once the rest of my party was done with their meal Connor eventually stopped by to do the "ready for the check" when he noticed I had not touched my sandwich and asked is everything ok. As I repeated my order to him, he jumped in to explain there are 2 cajun chicken sandwich's and that I received the one I ordered. When I presented him with the menu he was unable show show me this elusive "2nd cajun chicken sandwich" at which point he asked if I wanted another sandwich I said "no, whats the point now everyone is done eating." He just took my plate and turned to walk away as I was mid sentence. I don't blame Connor, he is young and likely not properly trained, and at no point should a server argue with a customer, especially in this case, he was clearly in the wrong. It would be different if I were being unreasonable, I was not. They took my order, got it wrong and didn't come back until it was too late to make it right. After he walked off with the weak example of a chicken sandwich. We waited another 5 mins or so when our table was approached by another lady who I assume may have been a manger. She asked what was wrong, I explained his mistake briefly and her level of concern seemed somewhat unconcerned she said was sorry and asked if we were ready for the check I said yes paid the bill and left. Oh and it goes without saying we were never asked if we would like refills on our drinks. I SQUARELY BLAME MANAGEMENT THIS IS A TRAINING ISSUE. This level of service seems to be the norm these days, its just another reminder for me to save the $$ and eat at home. read more
