This is some of the best soul food and turkey barbecue I've had since relocating to Raleigh. This is food that is cooked with love. Real Soul Food. Chopped turkey bbq is one of my favorites. I decided to order via delivery during my lunch break. I ordered the Turkey barbecue plate with collard greens, macaroni and cheese, yams and a pint of turkey bbq to share for dinner. Everything was well seasoned, piping hot and flavorful !!!!!! The vinegar based seasoning for the turkey was spot on delicious. Best I've had in a long time ! I will be ordering again. read more

I wish it was possible to give a restaurant more than five stars because this spot deserves it. The staff is always so helpful and attentive to your order. The food is next level. The mac & cheese slaps so hard as well as as the collard greens. I always come to grab the stuffed turkey leg but on today's trip grabbed the hamburger steak and couldn't believe what I had just tasted. The dish was perfect and every way. Visited this establishment Sept 2025, ordered the lemon pepper wings, and collard greens. The wing were very over cooked, greasy, not appetizing and I could not eat them. I was very disappointed and didn't understand why a restaurant would serve food like this. I will not go back, first impressions are lasting. Service was good and the ambiance was ok. read more

If you love food that makes you question every life decision that led you to eat anywhere else before, this is the place. The chicken wings? So crispy, so saucy, so downright delicious that I considered writing them a love letter. And the turkey BBQ? Let's just say if Thanksgiving dinner tasted this good, I'd actually look forward to talking to my relatives. The staff is friendlier than your grandma after church, the portions are generous (seriously, I had leftovers and cried happy tears), and the vibe is perfect--somewhere between a backyard cookout and a place where you accidentally stay for three hours because you "need just one more wing." If you haven't been here yet, what are you even doing with your life? 10/10, will return, possibly with a bib and an empty stomach. read more

TLDR: Long wait times. Poor customer service. Great food. Loved the garlic parmesan wings, mac and cheese, and yams. Wingz should have a pick-up area for online orders since the drive thru can be slow. I ordered takeout online on a weekday evening. The estimated wait time was 20-25 min after I ordered. However, I received a text that the order was ready for pick-up about 5 minutes later. I arrived at the drive thru about 15 minutes later. After waiting around 10 minutes in a stationary line of cars, I parked and walked in. The dining room is open again and only a few customers were inside. Although I was the second person in line (behind someone who already ordered and paid), it took over 5 minutes for them to acknowledge me. I said I was there to pick up my order and told them my name. They found the order and confirmed it with me. Turns out it still was not ready. Finally I received my order, I was too hungry to check it and drove home. Thankfully the order was accurate and everything tasted great. I would have left a much lower review if we hadn't enjoyed the food so much. They know how to season their food. Yes it's mainly with garlic, salt, butter, and pepper but still. We liked the wings the best followed closely by the mac and cheese, yams, and turkey bbq. I don't think I've had turkey bbq so I wasn't sure what to expect. I think I may like it better than pork bbq. Lots of flavor with less fat. Overall, not a great experience at first, but it ended well. read more

I ordered the turkey BBQ sandwich with fries from this spot and it was delicious. I dogged every last bit on my plate. I stopped eating pork for awhile now and my cousin told me about this place for some turkey BBQ. We had just left Smithfield BBQ so I was definitely hyped about my turkey BBQ after smelling my cousins food, lol. We went through drive-thru and the staff were very friendly and the servce was fast. As soon as I left the drive-thru I was about to check in via Yelp and was shocked at all the negative reviews. I was too embarrassed to check in, lol. I prayed on the way to my cousin house that the food would be good. Honey, when I bit into that first piece I started doing the happy dance. That turkey BBQ sandwich was delicious! It was juicy and reminded me of the pork version a little. I didn't get the cole slaw but when I added a little hot sauce to it, it gave it that final kick. I ordered a side of fries with no salt and they were also delicious. Iam so happy I didn't check the reviews first because I might not have given this spot a chance. I definitely will return here for another turkey BBQ, oh and to try some of their wings. My cousin said the wings she's ordered from here were good and she's never had any issues. their lobby is not open. They have a walk-up window and drive-thru. The drive thru menu has signs taped to it saying to pull up to window for full menu. The drive thru order point doesn't work. The wings were hard and crunchy, like they were either overcooked or had been sitting out for a while. The sides were okay. I was unimpressed. read more

Wings were good but I placed an online order and it was not ready at the promised time and my fries were cold. I would recommend investing in training the staff. Once the food temp was address we were asked "you want a refund". Zero measures were taken for us to be a repeat customer. More happened but it seems like it's just a lack of management. read more

The customer service was horrible. We sat in line for 2 hours and once we arrived to the register A employee approached us and said (what are you ordering and we have to count the turkey legs before we placed our order) the employee returned after counting the turkey legs and canceled our order before reviewing the order. We wasn't just ordering turkey legs we were ordering other items as well. This place is overrated and customer service sucks. read more

I have always always always had a great experience at this restaurant. But today was such a disappointment. Usually they have the wings just like I like. Not too big, not too small. I cannot eat jumbo or big wings. Today, my wings were huge. I ordered collards as a side which is supposed to be homemade with smoked turkey. The collards tasted like they were poured straight out of the can. No seasoning. & no turkey. I have had the collards at this restaurant plenty of times. I know for a fact the collards & the chicken were off. I had to throw my food away & go to Bojangles. Sad day bc I LOVE & support this place often. Hopefully this was just an off day. Please don't go down on your quality. I would rather pay a few dollars more to maintain the quality food we are accustomed to from your establishment read more

The only bad thing I can really say about this place is the pace of pushing out food, and keeping the line moving. Other than that, the food is always hot and tasty. My personal favorite wing flavor is the Garlic parmesan. Mac & cheese is always on point as well as the collards, and yams. read more

Suggestion, if you can't afford to be in business, then don't. A 8pc combo with drink-$16.80. Not only is that crazy, it's gouging! The wings are just ok and the mac&cheese although tasty, must've been intended for a toddler by size of the tiny serving. Covid has changed our economy & availability, this I'm understanding of. But ridiculous prices for basic items shows that you don't value what few customers you have. read more

They have a sign that says, "Yes our wingz are fried hard". I like my wings fried hard but not to the point where it disintegrates when I bite into it. I ordered 10 wings only with lemon pepper. I ate 3, choked off the 3rd one, and threw the rest away. Would be zero stars if possible, but they deserve 1 star from looking at the menu to see that one of the beverages they offer is Kool-Aid which made me chuckle. 1 ! read more

I checked the reviews and I understood that it was either going to be a hit or miss coming here. It was a miss when I went. I'd been eyeing this restaurant for months and I'm a little sad that it was underwhelming when I went. The appearance wasn't all that but that wasn't what I was there for. I ordered the turkey bbq sandwich with mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was not good. There was also this white stuff on the corners, it was watery and the harden cheese sprinkles made me absolutely question who made this???? I seen the reviews on here and thought I was getting decent mac and cheese....did not. The lil cup of coleslaw smelt funny??? The turkey bbq sandwich was alright it was just dry, needed some more sauce . Honestly I wasted my $9. I'm not sure if I just should've got wings or what. This place has learned from the bad reviews. No the speaker didn't work for the drive thru, but it wasn't a big deal to order at the window. Yes, the wings are priced a bit high, but there really is a shortage. Our meal was excellent! Great turkey barbecue sandwich and hot fries. We sat outside near the outdoor bar at a fire table. We loved it so much that we now have dates at our own fire table in our backyard. I've been to The Station many times over the years both with my husband and/or my Mom. All of the staff members are super friendly and helpful. Yesterday my Mom and I really enjoyed chatting with the manager, Doug. He was so welcoming and seemed genuine when he said he hoped we come back soon. I love their mostly enclosed booths. I also love that they seem to have a team approach to waiting tables. Each time I've been we have had at least a couple of people check to see if we need anything. The Station always has an excellent selection of beers on tap and I have never eaten anything there that was not delicious. You will not regret having your next date night or family dinner at The Station. They even have games that you can play at your table!

I found this spot on TikTok and decided to take a drive from Fayetteville, NC -- totally worth it! It was super packed when we walked in, so I'm glad we ordered ahead. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and the service was impressively fast despite the crowd. I strongly recommend this place to anyone in the area or even a little outside of it.
