This place was perfect for a cold February day to entertain kids ages 2-11. We celebrated our niece and nephew's birthday and the kids had a blast. Nice warm environment. Cool inside with a space and air themes. Wish it was a just a tad bit bigger. A lazy river would have been fun! Also, the showers in the bathrooms ran cold and the drains don't drain very well. But other than that, we would definitely comeback and our 9 year old is asking when that will be! We did the 10-2 session and that seemed like a perfect amount of time to play, relax, eat, and play some more. Kids were so tired after.

Don't forget your towels - this is now your only option if you do ... $36 for an ugly sunscreen branded towel

Pros: The slides are fun, the TV in the wave pool is cool, the theming is good, and the facilities have potential. Cons: Today felt really disappointing compared to our past visits. First, the towel situation was frustrating. In previous years, we could rent towels, which worked well for us since we were visiting from out of town and staying at a hotel in Portland. This time, we were told the only option was to buy $36 Sun Bum logo towels. They were ugly, tacky, and felt more like marketing items than something worth $36. I could understand $20 to $25 for a regular beach towel, but $36 felt like a blatant money grab and honestly started the day off on a bad note. The tube policy was also frustrating. Three of the four major slides use tubes. Single tubes are free for the slides, but doubles cost $10 to rent. Since we have a 5 year old who enjoys slides but is not big or brave enough to ride alone, we felt like we had to rent one. Then it was stolen while we checked out a kiddie area. When we told the desk, they made us wait 10 to 15 minutes while they looked for it before giving us another one. They never found it. Cleanliness was not great either. It is only June, but the scum around the pools was already noticeable. The shower drains in the women's room were clogged and flooding. We also rented a $10 locker, opened it, and found a brown drink spilled inside that had not been cleaned, so we had to go back to the rental line again. The behavior from other guests and the lack of supervision was probably the worst part. Our 5 year old is very friendly and tries to make friends wherever he goes. In line, he was talking to two young siblings when the brother repeatedly smacked his sister on the butt. My child then tried copying that behavior with me and said he should do that to his sister. I corrected it immediately. Soon after, we realized those were the kids who had taken our rented tube that was numbered to match our bands. There was no parent around. Since we had already gone through the hassle of getting another tube, we let it go. A minute later, another boy, maybe around 8, told my son right as we were about to ride the blue slide that he was going to suffocate and die on it. I asked him if that was really necessary to say to a 5 year old. Again, no parent was around, and although the worker seemed close enough to hear it, nothing was done. I was in shock. After the ride, I asked a worker if there are age limits or supervision rules for kids on slides or around the park. They said they did not think so and told me to talk to the front. At the front, several teenage employees were hanging out. Most workers were friendly, but a few had major attitudes, and I am not sure we saw anyone over 18 working there. One apologized and said I could point out the kids who stole the tube or the boy who said that to my son and they could talk to them. I said I did not feel it was my place to parent other people's kids, but I would prefer the waterpark have rules that prevent young kids from running around unsupervised all day. Later, three teenage boys got into a slap fight near the front of the line, right by workers. They were hitting each other hard enough to leave bright red handprints. My son was cringing from the loud slapping noises and was clearly uncomfortable. The workers ignored it, so I politely asked the boys to stop, and thankfully they did. On the topic of noise, I understand the wave pool siren needs to be loud, but for the first hour my son walked around covering his ears because it was more extreme than the other wave pools we have visited. The food was not worth it. I would recommend eating before or after your session. I feel like the food used to be better in previous years. The store was also disappointing. In the Jelly Belly dispenser, some candy looked old. You could clearly see newer candy added on top of older candy, but the old candy dispenses first. I had already told my 5 year old I would buy him candy, but once I looked closer I did not want to pay for old, overpriced candy. Instead, I bought a prepackaged mini Jelly Belly bag and a tiny cup of candy, about the size of a shot glass, which ended up being $12. We live in Washington and have visited this place about 4 times over the years. In the past, I would have rated it around 4 stars, maybe even 5. Today felt different in a really sad way. It felt like management has given up on customer service, employee training, cleanliness, the store, and the restaurant. Even the timed sessions are not ideal for our family's schedule. I understand the business side of it, but the experience now feels more like a cash grab than a fun family outing. This place has so much potential, and we used to really enjoy coming here. Unfortunately, after today, we do not feel like returning anytime soon. I hope management takes the feedback seriously and works to bring it back to what it once was.

Very fun filled day with my family. The yellow tube slide ride was my favorite. Any time you go to a water park expect two things. Most of the staff will be young adults / teenagers. There are long lines to almost everything including the restroom. We chose the 10-2pm session bought our tickets in advance as the website suggested, capacity limits are set by the fire marshal. Water is warmer than any river, lake around here but do not expect it to be warm. Recommend to wear quick drying shirt's to avoid rash/scratches from the slides. The Milky Way cafe serves a 16 inch pizza for $34 at the time of this review 11/11/25. Good news like W.W. you can bring a cooler for the car or use their picnic table outside.

There were 8 of us in our party, and we rented a first class cabana as we were celebrating my sons birthday. I'll start with the positives from our trip. Positives: -So much to do and I didn't feel like it was overcrowded -check in was a breeze -we had a slight issue with tubes (mentioned below), but management fixed it quickly -they had a drill during our trip and we had no idea until later (it all seemed really real)...I was impressed with staff and how they handled the incident -pizza was really good! -staff was pleasant and all very helpful Negatives: -our tubes were stolen several times...FROM INSIDE OUR CABANA! -cabana attendants were MIA. Had to go to the front desk to have them radio someone so we could order. Would've ordered a few additional things if they had come around to check on us. -water was a little cold. One of my boys had blue lips and was shivering the entire visit. Large bodies of water could've been a bit warmer. -4 hour time slot was nice, but none of us were quite ready to leave. All in all, we will definitely be back. I won't be renting the first class cabana again, but will definitely rent one of the smaller ones as we enjoyed getting away from hustle and bustle.

This was my first time hear and their employees are GREAT at explain all of the rules. The pizza is great. At first the waterslides are imatating but once you do one you relize that they are super fun!!!! But their are a few problems I went hear and the wirlpool was crowded with children. The LOUD nosie when the waves are about to start in the wave pool seems scary if you are going down a slide because it makes you think that their is problem. But other then that a really fun spot for birthday party or just to have a fun time.

Paying extra for tubes?? Some are available
    Jen P.

We used to really love coming to wings and waves, but going there today. They want to charge you extra for every little thing. Most of the chairs now are for rental and all of the double tubes. Not sure why they would need to add office additional costs when their ticket prices have gone up from $20 to 30 and you only get half a day so they're already taking in double Money than they were before Covid and I understand things have changed since Covid, but I find this ridiculous and we will not be driving an hour from the Portland area when we can go to great Wolf Lodge, at least you can stay all day! ! $40 for these chairs near the playground part! Only for the session which is 4 hours

Time to blast off for fun

Ask the Community - Wings & Waves Waterpark

What age of kids is this park best for? Are my 12 and 13 year old gonna enjoy it?

Perfect age! Get there as soon as they open though or you won't get a seat

What disabilities are applicable for their Disability Special? Does autism count?

Absolutely! Please make sure you let our Admissions team know when you arrive. Hope to see you soon.

Hello,it will be my first time going tomorrow and i wanted to see if anyone is aware of the dress code. Can i wear a t-shirt or do i HAVE to be in a swim suit?

The website says no swimwear or suits with zippers for certain slides. My guess is a shirt with your swim trunks/suit would be alright? So long as it wasn't a shirt that had crazy zippers galore

Is this waterpark open on Mother's Day? If so, what hours and what's the cost?

Yes they will be open for Mother's Day (per their website schedule). Check this out: https://wingsandwaveswaterpark.com/calendar/…

I'm not really rating Cascade AC on the whole in this review but rather their policy or lack…read morethereof. I enjoy swimming and Cascade has the best pool in the area so participation here is a matter of limited selection. My problem is the lack of policy/signs/refereeing something that keeps inconsiderate lane swimmers in line. Cascade has no posted policy or signs that direct how people should behave when there are others waiting for a lane. Since there are numerous older adults that seem to have developed blindness because they don't 'see' people waiting nor do they ask anyone. Instead, they see someone getting out of the pool and head directly to the lane that just opened up simply not caring that others are waiting. Most people seem to want to avoid conflict so nothing gets said empowering those who are already feel privileged enough to just jump in. Then there's me. I will say something and I might not be nice about it because your rudeness put you in my path. So, lane cutters if you can't turn to those waiting and ask then expect to get called out or for me to jump in 'your' lane. I simply won't stand for your rude behavior or whatever excuse you have for being like you are. As for Cascade - this on you. You have no policy, no guidance and no monitoring leaving us adults to police themselves. Fortunately, most do an exceptional job of policing themselves and have decency and courtesy. However, there are some that don't possess decency and probably have limited self-control when confronted about their behavior that could lead to an altercation between parties. If this were to happen to me you can bet that I would seeing you in court... And, while you are pondering this matter please scrub the pool! It's filthy. The walls and floor of the pool are coated in brown slime that cause slip when trying to push off. P.S. this also applies to those that are in a lane and invite someone that just shows up to join them instead of the next person in line as it should be. Friends don't get a free pass to the head of the line.
