We decided to check this joint out based on the good reviews given by Earl's friend, particularly for their buffalo fries. Now I've seen this place before. It's a small little corner shop that has changed multiple times since my existence here on Earth (exaggerating of course; I can recall it changing three times) but this would be the first time I've stepped foot in here since it was a taco shop way back when. After some time, one of the servers brought the food to us (I'm guessing 20-25 minutes later). But those fries.... man those fries were damn good. The chicken bits were drenched in their buffalo sauce atop a bed of crispy fries. It was seasoned perfectly and the fries maintained its texture amidst all the sauce it swam in. We were so into it that we forgot to ask for the bread sticks that we ordered, but they were eh... alright. It would have been better if came out warmer but it soaked up the leftover sauce nicely. Now why three stars? Well for one, the service caused tension with customers not getting their food before others. This also includes forgetting to bring out the rest of their order. Now I don't like tension, particularly when it comes to food. I like seeing happy people eating good food ( the food was good though so... I'm just feeling for the customers). Plus, the parking lot (on a Sunday afternoon) was home to hella drivers that weren't paying attention. Typical for a busy weekend evening. I called my order in over the phone,was told 15 min's, actual time was an hour. Only 1 cook working because another quit, and another called in sick. The owner , Robert, was visibly assisting behind the counter trying to expedite orders, so I appreciate the additional effort on his part. After I get home and unpack my rather large order, I come to notice that they left out an order of blue cheese and fries. I promptly called the store and once I was connected with Robert, he absolutely saved the experience. When it comes down to it, it's basically the same menu and combo selection but the portions are bigger and the food taste fresher! The prices are about the same too. The quality of the food was okay however, the customer service and overall atmosphere was horrible. The employees are not friendly and do not even know how to take an order correctly.
