First time dining at Wings, Etc and I definitely was pleased with everything!!! Upon arrival it was self seating which was nice!! The entire restaurant is full of nice lively decor and is very colorful!! Our server, Kenzie was excellent!!! Drinks were brought out quickly, food was served in great time as well!! Burger was excellent!!! Had their 1lb burger which was served hot and had amazing flavor!!! Tater tots were also cooked perfectly with a great crisp to them!!! I don't even know where to start on what a great experience we had at wings etc ! Our waitress who is actually the manager filling in made our night 10x better with her beaming personality , I get she's the manager but we want Megan ALL the time ! We sat ourselves right away Megan came got our drinks , no espresso martinis on the menu BUT Megan said no problem you want that I'll make it happen and boy I don't think she knew the day I had and how much it meant to me ! Menu had such a huge selection , also impressive that Megan did not even write our order took it all from memory two couples , three kids , two seperate checks everything was flawless ! The food came out quick and hot and was delicious ! They have these cool doorbells you can ring if you need your server to be honest it makes me never want to go elsewhere I love that if I need something I can ring a bell and let me tell you how quick Megan came with a huge smile on her face I still can't get over how friendly and welcoming she was I felt like someone I've known my whole life was waiting on me ! The kids all colored pictures and received dollars for the claw machine how cool , our three boys tried twice couldn't get a prize but the gentleman up front opened up the machine and gave them prizes , not saying they do that for everybody BUT our boys had a long day , they just completed swim class and it meant the world to them they are still talking about it ! They have great specials tonight was Thursday cheap wings and karaoke who doesn't love some free karaoke even bigger plus that the karaoke is on the outside patio so you have a choice if you want to tune out the noise or not ! This was our 2nd time to eat here. The first time was a few months after they opened. We were not impressed...food service was slow then (over 20 minutes to get a menu or drinks and more than 45 to get food that was lack luster) Fast forward to last night... The service was fantastic. This our 2nd time here. (Giving this place an honest try) We walk in and the outdoor sign says .89c shrimp! We were greeted by 3 young ladies at the hostess stand...and that's about as much energy as they wanted to give us! Waited at the bar...waited...waited... A group of 8 of us stopped in about 10 PM for a late dinner. We were quickly seated, with the staff rearranging tables to better work for our group. The bartender and our server worked together to get drinks and to take our food orders. Our drinks were good and there was even a large draft beer that was accidently poured that was given to our table. The food orders came out pretty quickly and pretty much everyone enjoyed their selections. I had a grouper sandwich, which was very tasty and had a nice aioli to give it a bit of a kick and additional flavor. My wife had the chili and said it was very tasty too. Others in our group got various appetizers, wings, and meals. Those who got the wings said they were very good, and the loaded tots had a huge heaping of bacon, cheese, and deliciousness. This was my first time trying Wings Etc, but my husband and brother-in-law had been before. This time we brought the whole family: my husband, daughter, brother-in-law, my mother-in-law, father-in-law, and my mother. The service was excellent. Our waitress was so friendly and attentive and had no problem answering all of our questions and even making suggestions. All of our family is from the Buffalo/western New York area, so we are always in search of good wings. We had the Green Bean Fries and Cheddar Cheese Curds as appetizers. The green beans were delicious and the southwest ranch we got with them was amazing. The cheese curds were awesome as well! For dinner, my husband and I split 15 wings and were pleased to hear we could get as many sauces as we wanted. We did the Asian Kick!, Hot-Honey-Garlic, and the Mild. The wings came out crispy and hot, and the basket was divided so the sauces didn't mix. The Hot-Honey-Garlic was my favorite! But they were all delicious. We shared a half order of the straight fries and my husband also had a cup of the chili. The fries could have probably used some seasoning as they were not my favorite, but definitely not bad at all. My BIL had the jumbo shrimp dinner and was pleased to hear that he could substitute his one side with an appetizer. It was so large he had plenty to take home! My mom had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (grilled) and said the chicken breast was very juicy and so delicious. She had curly fries as her side and said they were crispy and very good. My FIL had a burger (not sure which one) and fries and devoured his whole plate. My MIL had the Chicken Tenders Basket and was impressed that it came with 5 chicken tenders - plenty to take home some leftovers! For dessert we shared the Raspberry Cheesecake Chimis and they were to die for! They were my favorite part of the meal and I was so thankful we were able to try them. Throughout our visit, the manager delivered our food and checked in on our table a few times. She was so friendly, courteous, and you could tell she genuinely cared that was had a good experience. I was told the cheesesteaks here were great. Let me start by stating I moved here from the Philadelphia area. Cheesesteaks are cheese and steak, cheese selections are usually american, provolone or cheese wiz. According to this menu, the cheesesteak includes peppers, onions, mushrooms and SWISS cheese...WHAT? No. Just no. Oh, and garlic aoli (shaking head). It came with a side, usually fries or Tater Tots. I opted to sub mac and cheese. And asked for provolone, which they didn't have, so i orded american, no peppers or onions and aoli on the side. The cheesesteak came out with swiss so I had to send it back. In the meantime I ate the mac and cheese, which tasted like Chef Boyardee in the can, no flavor at all. The new cheesesteak came out. The cheese was the bright yellow version, and not mixed in but glopped on the bottom, which turned out to be a good thing because it was so salty it made it inedible. I consider myself to be somewhat of a wing connoisseur. When Im on keto I eat wings at least once per week. I've tried wings all over the country and just about every place around Clearwater. I don't understand how people could post negatively about these wings. Maybe they had a cook that messed up or maybe the people writing the review have bad taste? These wings are cooked perfectly. Slight crisp but still tender. The sauces were really good. Hot is perfect heat and the TNT is really spicy. I love spicy. Their ranch is the real deal and not like the grocery store crap. The blue cheese was delicious as well. Service was awesome and I enjoyed the beer selection. We have friends that live close to this place but we live about 8 miles south of here. I will be back! Im glad our friends suggested going here or I might not have ever known about it. These wings are top 3 Ive ever had in the Tampa area. We went there and were super excited to have a traditional Buffalo style wing restaurant opening near us. The service was terrible, order was wrong. I gently asked for a manager, knowing they were new I wanted to give some kind feedback. Well the manager was the person who served us incorrect food, apologized, but nothing changed. The correct food was not delivered yet the bill showed up and showed that the food was delivered. We witnessed other tables wait beyond 30 minutes for a drink order to be taken and they got up and left. Tampa has so many wonderful restaurants it is not worth my time to go back. Thought Wings Etc. would be that place. We've come here probably 10 times in the last 3 months with a ton of families. This time we were reprimanded by the owner that our kids were "Out of their seats" and scared away the 6 locals that were at the restaurant while our group of 20+ we're there. It's a sports bar. The only reason they seemed crazy was because there was no one else there. The waitress was amazing and actually followed us out apologizing for the way the owner acted. Stopped by after hearing from a friend that they had Great wings!!! My wife and I sat at the bar all the wait staff was very polite and helpful. The owner walks over and ask the bartender for the TV remote. He grabs the remote and sees the batteries were gone and asks the bartender (female) if she took the batteries and made a disrespectful sexual comment in front of us. Then he shrugs off and walks away. We did pull the manager aside and let her know of the situation. As a business owner and a descent human don't ever talk like that to a female. We showed up when there wasn't a crowd so we had our choice of seating. This place was so clean, looked like everyone was enjoying themselves.
