We ordered wings - of course, it's a wing joint... you gotta try the wings. They were SWIMMING in butter. Literally there was a HALF INCH of butter in the bottom of the basket. The sauce was suppose to be medium but it was drenched in butter, the heat was hardly even there. We like boneless wings... but not these boneless wings. They had soggy breading and they tasted like high school cafeteria chicken nuggets! My advice: take the trip down to the levee to BW3. Well, I would rate -2 stars if I could. Took 2 hours to even get our wings. And when we did there was not even any silverware at all on the premises... hmm weird for a restaurant. Finally, when we wanted the check, we waited an extra 40 mins for the bill. At one point we even screamed (all 10 people) and not one person looked or came to help us. Also to add more to it, we never got plates until LITERALLY the last wing was eaten. We could have walked to Walmart, bought paper plates and walked back and it would have been 1 hour faster than it took our waitress. Wing's etc. was alright. We sat outside on the patio, which was nice although it would have been packed if the restaurant was crowded. It was also a little strange because there was no music. It was nice because it was only us and one other pair, but if you had a table sitting close to you I imagine you may end up part of a conversation that you're not interested in hearing.Their Tuesday special was $2.50 domestic pints. I probably should have went for that option, because my 3 Floyds Yum Yum was $6 (although that certainly isn't off the mark for a pint). Although we pass this place all of the time, I just assumed the restaurant was not vegetarian-friendly based on the name. But I was wrong. They have a veggie pattie that you can have substituted for any burger at no charge. My hubby thought the veggie pattie was pretty good. Side note, they also have a variety of vegetarian app and salads that are well-priced. I got wings and fries. The fries were greasy and gave my stomach a bit of a rumble, but I liked the wings. They have 19 different wing flavors, which are all sauces. I like a dry rub on my wings, so the waitress kindly offered that they could put either cajun spice on them or garlic spice. I'm in the minor-league for spice tolerance. I opted for the cajun and it was probably the maximum spicy I could have handled. While they were good, I didn't like them as much as Chumley's dry jerk rub wings, which have a similar flavor. Some of them weren't quite as crispy. Although this place was only mediocre I'd probably return. Food was prompt (although the restaurant was pretty empty), they had a good drink special, and our server was friendly but not overbearing. read more

Good, cheap(ish), crispy wings! We got takeout, so I can't comment on the dining service. We got our wings within 10 minutes of our expected pick up time. They offer a pretty good variety of wing sauces (10-15), we got garlic Parmesan, teriyaki, buffalo, and blazin Asian. They were all pretty mediocre, nothing to rave about but not awful. I was appreciative the wings were crispy and covered in a decent amount of sauce. Also cheaper than BWW. Not sure about coming back but it's only a 5 minute drive from our place and the wait is a lot shorter than BWW. It would probably be out of convenience rather than taste. read more

This is a good option when looking for quality wings without breaking the bank. The restaurant has lots of TV's, providing a sports bar feel to allow customers to watch games while enjoying a meal. They offer a wide variety of appetizers, all of which have been good in my experience. Came here this week for lunch before I had to be at work and waited 45 min before I received my food. There were only two other customers in the place at the time. I asked the waitress what is taking so long and she said there was a shift change plus all new cooks. By the time I received my order I had to get it to go. Also the boneless wings were hard. I regularly patronize the east side location. I was on the west side and needed a quick carry out to take home for dinner. This location seems to be larger than the east side - at least the bar is (that's where you order carry-out by the way). There were three bartenders on duty - kind of unusual for a Wednesday night, I thought. But that only meant that my order was taken quickly. I didn't feel like I had to wait long for an order of wings and a wrap. They forgot the ranch and celery with the wings and a kitchen staffer literally ran out the door after me to make sure I got them! I thought that was pretty incredible considering that it was such a minor part of the order. I love the wraps here. They are packed full of chicken and fixings. Food is decent, service seems to be nonexistent though, I work 10 minutes away from this place and ordered delivery through their website thinking it would be a fast delivery and my entire engineering team and I could continue work through a very urgent issue at hand with a reward of some quick great wings, was I wrong, I have an email receipt showing the correct address I entered but somehow the delivery ended up at a totally different location, the driver called me several times almost as upset as I was and ended up being over an hour late, much to the frustration of my whole team very hungry to get cold rubbery wings, I've tried working this out but keep getting the run around, i feel like I was lied to several times saying I would here back from a different manager the next day and never did,i spent almost $100 on food and I would be happy with a gift card for what I spent but nobody will own up to their mistake!! read more

The restaurant was not busy but we still had a somewhat lengthy wait time for two burgers and some fries. (I used to work in a kitchen so I know how long burgers take) His burger literally came out without a bun (top or bottom) and mine came without the cheese listed in the menu. When brought up they brought a bun in a basket and a cold slice of cheese in a basket (the burger wasn't even warm enough to make it worth eating at that point). We had to ask for refills every time and the silverware was dirty (in addition to excessive water spots there was something red on my set). Also I have never tasted onion rings as terrible as these were. We couldn't eat most of our food so we paid and left and will not be returning. If you are a wing fanatic like myself you'll find these are some of the best wings around. The hot sauces particularly stand out for me. They pack heat, but carry a unique savory side, too. The bbq and jerk sauces are very sweet and mildly spiced. All of these sauces are thick and stick like glue to the wing. The mild sauce was extremely thin and barely stuck to the wing. Basically, you get big jumbo sized wings, crispy fried, and smothered (not shaken) in a variety of sauces ranging from mediocre to unforgettable. The french fries are not fresh cut, which disappoints this critic in a personal way. I need fresh cut french fried potatoes with my wings 100% of the time. That being said, these are crispy, flavorful french fries. I'd much appreciate an unseasoned fresh cut to accompany the ridiculously flavorful wings, but these are completely acceptable. I always make a trip during their 39c wings deal - that means that normal people can get 10 wings for $3.90 and people like me can get 50 wings for about $20! I have been here several times since it opened and the same problems persist. The first time we went the service was slow and the server couldn't answer questions about the menu because they had only opened 3 weeks ago. The next two times we went the service was slow and often just disappeared and orders gotten wrong one time. It feels like their training consists of handing someone a notepad and telling them to go have fun. Now on to the wings. They need to coat them in the sauce. Everytime I have gotten fries they have never seemed fresh, being lukewarm or soggy. I wish the food and service were better since it's so close by. I have given this place 3 chances to get it right, and it failed 3 times. The wing sauces and ranch are watery. The sauce actually tastes like they added ketchup to it the 2nd time I went. The food isn't the only thing that sucks, the service does too. After paying $2.39 for an iced tea, it never got refilled. Wouldn't return and waste my money. Once was enough for me. What can I say, the wings were drowning in sauce but dry underneath. Instead of properly tossing the wings in sauce it seems they placed them in the basket and poured an excessive amount of sauce on top. Servers seemed to not be knowledgable about the menu in both the bar and dining room. My friends order was wrong due to false info from one server saying they had something they didn't for nachos and just bringing out a different meat instead without informing them first. First and last time eating here. Wanted to save some money so got this instead of other wing places. I ordered boneless BBQ and traditional mild wings with side of fries. For the price, the fries were horrible and you only get a very small amount. The mild sauce was nearly nonexistent and very watered down. Decent American food for fairly reasonable prices. Their wings certainly live up to the 'jumbo' description, and the sauces are (mostly) good. I only had one sauce that was difficult to eat, and that was mostly due to the flavor. Their rib tips were also rather delicious when I got them, their Hot BBQ sauce being the perfect addition to them. I'd recommend avoiding the burgers.
