I ordered Uber Eats from this place tonight and was really surprised/confused because I thought this place had good food! To start, I paid $5 extra for a 10 ounce side of blue cheese that I never received. What I got instead was a tiny cup of blue cheese (the size that often comes in your salad dressing). Also, the curly fries at this place were a HUGE letdown- I've never seen/tasted such sad curly fries before :( They were as thin as shoestring fries and completely bland/tasteless (no salt even). I was really sad/confused like whaaaat's going onnnn....? For wings, I ordered the 25 specialty wings- hot, key west, sweet & tangy, and bourbon- my impression of the wings: they were fresh which I appreciate, but ALL the sauces were missing depth of flavor. And I was really excited to try all the different flavors! But they were all JUST okay. It was better than eating the chicken plain, but flavor-wise, something felt missing. Between this, the sad curly fries, and the side order of blue cheese that I never received, I have no reason to order again. Bummer! Gotta keep looking for a good wing place! read more

I have been going to wings plus for the past couple of years quite frankly I will never leave my hard earn money there again and this is the reason WHY!! the food came to the table cold and one by one and, this particular night, which was last night it was very, very upsetting to me went with my daughter and my grandkids at the point when I was ready to make my payment The server by the name of Brian charges my credit card three times for the same amount which was 129 the total and he separately charges my account $64.92, $64.92, $64.92 to make it worse. I feel bad giving Wings Plus such a bad review but after you read this, you decide. So at 230PM I called and ordered 6 wings with garlic and hot sauce. I paid extra for an extra cup of blue cheese dressing. I advised the person who answered the phone (I will not name the person because I don't want to embarrass this person. I may not get there until 3 but please make them for pickup now and I don't care if they are cold. Well we went back and forth and I couldn't get her to make them right away. I arrived at 245 and of course the wings were not ready. I didn't make an issue. The wings were ready at 3 and again what the heck. I sat down at an outside table to eat my wings. After being so excited for my wings I went back in and requested a refund. They offered to remake my order but I was pressed for time at this pint and honestly why would I think they are going to be much better this time. Well the manager was on lunch, he was sitting at a nearby table eating and didn't want to be disturbed so the cashier took the wings, brought them to his table and after another 5 minute delay they gave me my money back. This was my first time eating inside the restaurant, as we've only ever order takeout. I was shocked how HUGE the inside really is, with several different rooms full of tables. It even looked like they have a private room available if you wanted to host a meeting or event. We sat in the back room (away from the crowd) and had a great waiter! He offered his favorite wing sauces as we weren't sure which to get since there are so many. There are TVs everywhere, so this would be a great place for game day. The other day I was in a mood for some wings and this spot was right around the corner from my house. Of course I had a lot of options, but I've driven past this spot pretty much on a daily basis and have wanted to stop by. Glad I did! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted with a welcome and a smile, the server quickly took my order and gave me some great recommendations. She even split up my order so that I could try different flavors. I had the sweet and tangy recommended by the server, which was absolutely phenomenal. I also ordered the jerk flavor, which was a little too spicy for me, but I manned up and ate it anyways. The lunch special came with their version of curly fries and a drink. The fries were perfect crispy on the outside soft on the inside and cooked to perfection. I also had an order of their pickle chips, which were delicious. All in all I had a great experience. While I was there, I was greeted by multiple people and servers working in the restaurant. The food came out hot in under 10 minutes. I would highly recommend this place to my friends and family. I believe this place has been there at least since the 80s and from my experience you don't last that long unless you're doing things right which this place is. We walked in and it smelled overwhelmingly like cleaning product. But we were starved. It took a long time for our food and wasn't busy. My buffalo chicken wrap tasted okay but it was not hot at all. Addendum: Before I could complete this review, the owner called me. He was not receptive at all to what I was telling him about the way the food left his kitchen. I have ordered from Wings Plus on 1235 N University Drive (2.2 miles away) and my food arrives HOT every time. Wings Plus on 9880 W Sample Rd is CLOSER to me (1.1 miles away). They should do their own deliveries and stop relying on outside services and using them as their scapegoat for poor quality food and service. Here is my original message. Unfortunately, today's delivery was the worse I have ever received in approximately 20 or so years. It arrived on time via Uber Eats but my burger was not fresh (the bun is dry ), the fries are not fresh (not even warm to the touch and it came in pieces). My son's order (Blue Cheese Bacon Burger) has the same issues (fries not fresh or even warm), and his food looks dry. I usually order the steak fries, if nothing else because they use to come hot and fresh. I also had a problem with the Uber app. (I will reach out to Uber Eats about that).
