Only reason I'm giving this a 4/5 is because of the setting. It's not always the cleanest inside, sometimes there's some straw papers, spilled drink, etc.. but they work super hard in there. The service is always fast and they're constantly beating their feet getting ish done. This place was an ole reliable when I stayed down in Normal and I honestly couldn't be more grateful for them. The food was always hot, they always threw in a bit extra, they never skimped out on anything, and most importantly they always listened to the customer. The fries were perfectly seasoned. You get a large variety of sauces or a rub. You also get a variety of how you want your fries seasoned, plus how much seasoning you want on them. We waited quite a while for our boneless chicken wings. When they finally came they were the tiniest boneless chicken wings I'd ever seen. First of all - they accommodated my incredibly specific order, and when they read it back to me, it was right! Second - they went out of their way to DELIVER A THOUSAND WINGS (Make that 1,360). Third - their food is really freakin' good. This ain't my first Wing-rodeo and I can honestly say I love their fry seasoning, the wings are good, they rotate flavors, and I love even more *NOT* having to explain to my 5 year old daughter why the nice lady is wearing blindingly shiny pantyhose and hugging daddy. I was working in champaign and decided to try wing stop for the first time. I was a little disappointed as my food took over an hour to have delivered. I called the store and a lady answered and before I could finish my sentence she yelled about how they were so busy and the shipment of wings they got in were larger than usual and took longer to cook. I got my order an hour and 15 minutes after ordering and the wings were rather on the small side. Since I live in bloomington I decided to give the wing stop in town another go. My boyfriend and I went inside to order and the young girl at the counter took everyone's order before ours, even the people who arrived after us. We then ordered and waited 20 minutes for our food as we watched people who ordered after us get their food first. A young couple came in shortly after us, probably high school age and placed their order. The young girl at the counter proceeded to argue with the young man as he ordered complaining about how he should have said he "wanted 15 wings." Not "I would like 10 of this flavor and 5 of another flavor." The only good thing that came of it was the gentleman who handed us our food and apologized for the wait. We then got home and realized the food was not what we ordered. My boyfriend ordered 6 boneless wings to find no sauce what so ever on any of his. We paid $17 to split an order of 6 wings between us. The wings here are like the wings you get at any other wingstop - nothing special but decent wings. Where is place falls way short is their employee to employee interactions in front of customers!! It was pretty apparent that the person helping us out was fairly new and was having some issues with the equipment because the computers weren't working properly. He apologized for the delay but no issues on that end - being new is hard and there is a learning curve. What bothered me was when he asked, who i'm assuming was his supervisor, for help, he got an earful and was scolded before he was helped. So we stood there awkwardly, waiting to complete our order, while the supervisor decided to give the employee a hard time. I'm sure there was a lot to tell him/teach him that could have waited until after. The entire time we waited for our order we could hear the moaning and groaning in the back from the other workers - i could almost feel the eye rolls. I've been to Wing Stop twice now. The first time was great. The wings were a little over sauced for me, but I'm kind of picky. They were cooked perfectly. The fries were great and I'm not a huge fan of fries. The second time was completely different. They were in the process of cleaning the fryers when the ones they were cleaning over boiled. The 4 fryers they were cleaning boiled over ,along with the cleaning solution, into one of the 2 that were working. This is at 20 minutes after I ordered. There was food cooking in the fryer that was contaminated, luckily it wasn't my food. It took another 8 minutes for my fries to cook while my wings got cold and soggy sitting on the table.
