Wingstop is open late which is a bonus for late nighters. The restaurant is nice and regular nothing spectacular but it is clean. The service is pretty good actually, from what I expected it to be. I usually get the boneless wings, fries and veggie sticks. I don't care for all the flavors they have for the chicken but I love hot honey 8.5 out of 10 garlic Parmesan 8.5 out of 10 and lemon pepper 7.5 out of 10. Food always takes forever. Even if they tell you it will be ready in 1 hour, expect to wait 1 hour and a half. Half the time they forget to put sauce or dry rub on the wings. They make us fill the drinks, and now they feel they need to be the ones watching our screen while we hit the confirm button. This does not in fact prevent food thrives from stealing your orders. It does irritate us, and make our deliveries slower. I can not hit confirm on my phone without being the one actually looking at my screen. About 45 minutes after I had placed an order, the manager called to inform us that the first driver had taken our food and cancelled the order. They will go ahead and redo our order and send it with the new driver. Another 35 minutes go by, she called again but this time to let us know that the flavor that we ordered had run out. The family is now running low on patience, so we just picked another sauce. The clock is now slowly creeping towards two hours. The online link provided kept giving us a false estimate. I finally called and she said they were packing up everything to send to us. The manager was very nice and tried her best but it was such a horrible experience. I'm appalled! Fiancé was craving wings. Did a search and this place was nearby. Doesn't look like much from the outside, and isn't any better when you walk in. Two POS systems. One for credit only. I was paying in cash. Cashier called for assistance, he couldn't ring cash sales. No cash in the register so waited for what I'm assuming was the shift leader. Placed order for dine-in. Was told it would be a 35 minute wait. Okay. Sat down at a table, then moved to another because it was dirty. Watched people come and go with carry out orders. One other table with dine in customers. The cashier was on his phone almost the entire time we waited. Half of the tables were in need of bussing and the floor was sticky. Our order was bagged "to go". All the wings were put in one carry out container, flavours separated by paper. Too many for the container. Fries were in a paper carry out basket. Professionalism is sorely lacking here. Cashier shouted back to co workers for info about carry out orders as customers came in for pickup. He actually went to the mens' room at one point, removed his uniform shirt before going in. Was in full view of the seating area. Stayed for over 10 minutes while other customers went to door to use the facilities. Yikes. I prefer dry rubbed wings as they are less messy and more crisp. There were 3 dry rub flavors to choose from and with 8 wings- you can choose 2. I got the Louisiana and the Lemon Pepper. Definitely preferred the lemon pepper more as the Louisiana was a bit butter tasting. Overall, for a new place - it was running very efficiently and the food was good. The reason for the 4 stars is I did not like my fries. They gave me a generous basket of it but I didn't like the special seasoning. It was sweet and savory -- a potato fry that tasted like a sweet potato. It was too confusing for my taste buds and after eating the 8 wings- I didn't need the fries. I have been going to Wingstop for years at the SE and NE locations. I go to the Clackamas/Sunnyside location as it is the closest to my house. My biggest issue with this location is 1) seasoning 2) crisp The main factors in a restaurant chain that specializes in chicken. This was the fourth occasion where only one side of the chicken was seasoned. If I am paying over a dollar per mini wing/thigh...is it reasonable to hold the location to the standard that pieces would at least be covered front and back? SEE PICTURES. Secondly, there is an issue with how hard the chicken was. I am a big fan of crunch and crisp, however, this location produces fried pieces that are nearly rock hard. Today I ordered 15 wings: only 7 pieces were barely covered in garlic sauce, 2 pieces had 2/3 of meat on the bone, and 6 tasted fully bland. SEE PICTURE. I'm a huge fan of Wingstop, it's my goto takeout food but... this location has already fallen to the low ranks of poorly prepared, lack of consistency and obvious poorly motivated staff. I've ordered from this location for lunch and dinner at least 10 times since they opened and every time they've way under delivered! The wings are usually poorly prepared ranging from under cooked to poorly sauced. They have a menu option for well done fries and extra seasoning I've chosen it every-time and never gotten well done fries or extra seasoning their always limp, cold and underwhelming.
