One 6oz rib and dry brisket. This plate was $26. Smh

Horrible meat serving sizes at this location. The person cutting the meat doesn't even know how to cut the meat properly, weigh or use a knife. Person in front of us was served the worst turkey poboy I've ever seen (chopped turkey pieces, not sliced). She questioned the portion size and had him add more chunks. We ordered 3 meat dinner with ribs, brisket and sausage. We received 1 rib, 1. The rib was apparently 6oz. Picture attached. Smh. Brisket was also dry. Side servers were excellent. Served portions adequately. Gresham location is much better and more efficient. As I'm writing this review another customer brought up the quality of meat and serving size.

Walking in, Buster's smells of heaven! It's easy to navigate up to the counter, and you get to watch the magic of your sandwich being made. The choice of sauces can be a little overwhelming, so sample a few and load up on your favorite. I got a pulled pork sandwich and it was everything you could hope for. Juicy, flavorful meat on a soft fresh bun. My mouth is watering thinking about it! The interior of the place has a fun western theme, great for the kid in all of us. Great food, check it out!

Overnighted in Clackamas and thought I would give it a try. Food was good and chicken was juicy. Generous portions for just under $20. Highly recommend!!

Quality of food is super bad. They purposely pick out the most leathery crusty old meat they can find it's really pathetic. I don't even know why they allow that kind of meat to be served. It's beyond ridiculous. I wish I would've mentioned something, but when there's a crowd, you don't wanna make a scene! Overpriced and low quality!! They wouldn't know a good quality Texas barbecue if it hit them in the face!

I've never been to a Texas BBQ chain restaurant before. So I thought this was pretty interesting. Getting your food is very much like a high school cafeteria set up. You line up, get a tray, pick your meats, pick your sides, pick a beer/grab a cup for soda or water, and pay. Once you pay, you can go over to the the sauce bar where they have the fountain drink dispenser, bbq sauces, and salad toppings. The is better than cafeteria food, but I don't think it's as good as real Texas BBQ. It's just reasonable and okay. The tables aren't cleaned very well cause they feel a bit sticky. The sauce bar gets pretty messy too due to being used throughout the day. It's not so terrible that you wouldn't want to get your sauce. Although, I did notice the sauce had some clumps a bit in it. I feel like that isn't normal since sauces tend to be smooth usually. But I still poured it over my meats cause I did not want them to be dry. I just added a conservative amount and hoped that was enough. I didn't realize they had bottled beer and draft beers available. So I cut through the line just for a drink a bit afterwards. Goes well with the bbq. I think I'd only come back if someone I knew really wanted to go here. But I don't think I would choose to come here on my own. Just isn't for me I guess. Maybe it'll be something worth going to for you. At least once maybe?

1 lb. of Brisket, half pound of Pulled Pork, potato salad, Pecan pie, original bbq sauce.

As…read moreyou walk up they have a very large outdoor seating area for at least 80 people, the main entrance has Podnah's name posted within a rustic building. The building is a very casual place, as you walk in the friendly staff greet you and ask you to take a seat wherever you like. We decided to sit in the backside of the building it is a very peaceful section by the kitchen, you can smell the amazing smokey scent of the bbq from there. The walls are covered black and white cowboy pictures. As someone mention in their review, parking is a little challenging but we found parking in the neighborhood within 5 min. The Menu is simple and to the point, one page is drinks the other page is the BBQ, We shared the Pit Boss Platter, you will find that it feeds 2-3, you get a 1/4 pound of brisket and pulled pork, 2 pork ribs, 1 link (very good size) cornbread and your choice of 2 sides, we choose the collard greens and the the green chile mac and cheese. Everything was amazing. It was plenty for the two of us that shared it, we actually took some of it home, I also tied in the pickles, the are served with pickled onions and jalapeños (yummy). The BBQ flavor was amazing, nice and smoky , great smoke rings, they table drop in three different sauces, a vinegar oil, a surprisingly tasty mustard sauce and their house bbq sauce, they are all great tasting. My son ordered the 2 meat plate, he loved the Brisket and Ribs, he also tried the Pinto beans with Brisket, they were very tasty. Overall Podnah's lived up to the hype. If you are in the area its worth a try.

We ended up cutting things out of our order to compensate for that. Honestly, I'm totally fine with restaurants making the food pricier to make up for costs, but adding a huge mandatory tip is a iffy. There are plenty of really good bbq places in the area that will give you comparable food without that. Neither myself or anyone in my party will be going back while this is still present, sadly.

Truly, as impressive as the menu is here, the real secret ingredient is Uncle Earl, himself. His larger-than-life personality, infectious laugh, and genuine hospitality create an experience that feels like visiting an old friend rather than a neighborhood food cart. I settled on The Arnold: a half pound of brisket with a side of mac n cheese and a corn muffin. There are a number of sides to choose from, but the mac sounded appealing to me. Indeed, it was very rich and satisfying, but the meat is why people flock to this food cart! Tender, sweet and salty, and oh, so delicious; this is the barbecue I've been missing in my life! I love supporting businesses that embrace community, and Uncle Earl's manages to do that very well. Just take a look at these reviews and you'll find it very clear folks here go out of their way to make sure customers have a positive experience and enjoy their food. What more can you ask for?
